I odered from amazon and they were flush type screws remember to countersink the part or check which side is already done. My parts were not pre done.

I bought these clips and a they should come with a screw that's larger than the original screw because usually that's part of the problem. They keep the visor from falling down but they don't keep it from swinging when you're using it to the left of the driver's position for example over the driver's door window. This is what I would call a half fix half broken solution

Yes, that has to do with a worn out visor and is a different problem than it is intended to fix, a simple clip could not fix a worn out sun visor.

You don't need the original part anymore, so you could just toss it, or keep it if you want.

The part in the video is the replacement. The piece holds the sun visor in place, it is a defect in the Ram sun visor that makes the visor fall out.

It's not feasible to replace the plastic attachment piece that fails in the visor, no. You can replace the entire visor, but the same design defect will be there and it will likely just fail again.

the original plastic covering is discarded, the new repair kit does not come with a covering , however the screws are hidden by the visor the majority of the time. If this doesn't answer your question please let me know.

Thank you for the video, I ordered and received the part to fix the visor to keep it from falling but I noticed that when I turn the visor towards the driver window it swings back freely, it doesn’t hold in place. I guess it’s not bad for a $20 fix.

The clip is a scam. It performs the same function as the existing OEM clip, which is not broken in the first place. It’s the weak plastic donut ring on the short visor arm that splits in two… and then, neither the original or replacement clip will “click” into it. The visor still droops. This is a dealer fix.

I don't think you have even bought the part, and as you can see in the video, it fixed the problem I had. If you did try the part, you can always contact them to get your money back.

It worked for me. My visor arm came out of the part that holds it in the roof so this worked great for me. So far anyway 😂 we will see in a few weeks.

@@beck204 There are not a lot of options, and this one is one of the cheapest. The way that the visor is held in place is very specific, so a clip to hold it in is the most reliable.
