Thanks for actually resolving the problem! All other videos I watched say "how to repair" and they should say "how to replace" because their idea of repairing it is to replace it with a new one. Mine looks brand new but it's floppy so I'd rather fix the flop and keep the original visor. Thanks again for presenting an economical solution!
Hello my friend, I am thankful and grateful to read your wonderful comment and great support, and I am glad that you found my video is helpful, thank you so much and all the best 👌 👍
You can actually open the top at the sewing seam and then drill a hole through under the metal bar where there's a piece of plastic that breaks. The plastic holds the pressure of a spring on the bar and it just breaks over time. If you drill a hole and put a bolt through it (cut bolt as short as possible while fitting a washer and nut over it) then cut off a tiny piece of plastic in the way on the opposite side then you can put the two halves back together (use some fabric tape to hold it tight after) and then pull the fabric lining back over and sew it back up at the top.
Hello my dear friend, thank you so much for great information and excellent ideas I learned from you very useful genius idea, I don't know why and almost every time I buy a car sun visor is bad, in my next video I will do just what you mentioned, I really appreciate 😀 thank you again and all the best 👍.
good idea ! i think i will use one clamp but then drill through the clamp holes and put a small bolt through it. then i can tighten the bolt to adjust the tension
Hello my friend, Genius idea 💡, that's even better so you can adjust the tension, brilliant, yes that'll work excellent thank you so much and all best 🙏
Hello my dear friend, thank you so much 😊 and all the best 👍, I didn't care too much to make it looks much better because after the mirror broke, but yes this method it works excellent, 😀 best regards ✨️
I am so glad to read your wonderful messages and that you found my video was helpful, it's my pleasure 😊 to hear that, thank you so much and all the best 🙏💟🙏💟🙏
Hello my friend, thickness is 1/16 of inch 1.58 mm, it took me about 5 minutes but I used other metal bracket thickness 1/8 of inch didn't work because it’s too thick and squeezed the sun visor hard to rotate so after trying and playing with metal spent about 15 minutes, Thank you and all the best.
Hello my dear friend, I figured it out my self after hours of thinking I came up with this idea, I also have other videos and different way to fix sun visor, if you like you can watch that videos too, thank you so much 😊 and all the best 👍 👌 ❤🙏
Hello my dear friend, yes that's right, but I thought to open it to see what's inside or what other ideas can be use to fix it without clamps, thank you and all the best 👍
Why in the world are you taking so long to explain how to tighten this up this is a waste of video time. I got bored in the first two minutes of watching this.
Hello my friend, thank you so much for your concerns , this is how I learn from you and other people, to tell me my bad and mistakes , I will make sure walking to much or waiting time during videos won't happens again, thank you and all the best

Very interesting! What thickness of metal bracket did you use and how long did it take you to form it to the correct angle on your bench vise?
Hello my friend, thickness is 1/16 of inch 1.58 mm, it took me about 5 minutes but I used other metal bracket thickness 1/8 of inch didn't work because it’s too thick and squeezed the sun visor hard to rotate so after trying and playing with metal spent about 15 minutes,
Thank you and all the best.

Some people learn by watching. He just taught me how to solve this problem without buying a new visor.
Everyone doesn't have the skills and tools you have. Some things are better off to just replace.
Yes of course the best is replaced it, but some of sun visors are expensive so it's better to try to fix it, thank you so much and all the best 💕💕🙏💕
not a good fix, poor technique
It was a try and it worked for me, can you tell me a way to fix better than this one? Thanks.
