Solid list. This is a lot more consistent than the aggro lists. Merlyn rabbit and spell book give this deck the edge over red/blue control. I still like that deck this is great addition to Pixelborn racked.
Such a fun deck. I've edited it a few times to add some twists. I kept getting a lot of uninkables in my hand and some really high cost cards that I never could play. But added the Aladdins and Winnie the Pooh Wizard. As a newbie it took me awhile to really understand the concept of the Mim's and Merlins and concept of bouncing the card back to your hand. If you do another video like this - really highlight that concept for newbies.
I’ve tested him a lot and he’s good! I’d play him in a more aggressive list for sure. Here I’m prioritizing later characters and removal and letting Spellbook shine more. Arthur struggles to set up against a lot of meta cards: Cindy, Tremaine, Fox, etc.
Big fan of red/purple but was getting eaten alive by aggro. Mulligans aside, teeth and ambition over spellbook and 2 drop tremaine have helped that matchup a lot while not compromising the control matchup.
I think 2 drop Tremaine is a weak uninkable card in the control matchup. Teeth and Ambitions I agree helps (but hyper aggro is still a rough matchup) while being ink against control.
@@connermorgan9223 after more testing it does help but the lore removal is not impactful despite being able to shift into big tremaine. I think spellbook are better and maybe it's changing ratios of other late game threats
Yeah I can see how shifting Tremaine early could help vs aggro, and I’ve tested it here and in Ruby/Sapphire. There are two big reasons I’ve been leaving her out: 1) 2-4 uninkable slots are tough to give up for her 2) many aggro lists go wide so Tremaine banishing their choice doesn’t help when they can choose Simba, Maleficent, etc

I noticed a lot of lists have cut Elsa these days. Why are you still choosing to use her? I’ve also seen Surfer Minnie as a very viable option as well.
She’s still so good, not sure why she’s being cut. Some lists are more aggro and I understand then, but anything more control oriented should keep her in.
I ink dragon too if I have turn 3 or 4 coming up and I get a stupid 9 cost, those cards in hand are good for me bc they’re trash early game. Free food haha
It’s a card advantage battle in the midgame. Pawp + Hiram vs Rabbit/Male bouncing. Pawp has better lines for sure but the later it goes the better this deck feels if you keep up in cards and pressure.

Fox mim looks broken to me 4 attack and rush and the downside is basically an upside
Exactly. There's an objective cost, but that cost can be used as an advantage in many scenarios.
My first time playing at locals against a deck like this, but I went 2/0 against them...my opponent kept inking his Maleficient dragon 🙄🙄

What would you recommend to play this deck at all without maleficent dragon or elsa?
Maybe try a more aggro list with Ruby / Amethyst until you can get the late-game characters. They're pretty vital to a control-oriented game plan.

How does this line up vs Pawpsicles?

Playing 2 drop snake makes you have to play tomany 1 drops.
Why the snake you think in this conteol match?
I like snake to bounce Maleficent, Rabbit, Goat, and more. In the late game it's the best 2-cost character.
How come no dragonfires?
Because he has a Tremaine that is a body and being a removal on top of that
They are still a great choice but Tremaine serves a similar purpose, especially against decks that tend to play characters one at a time.
