That baffling encounter with the couple who found a child by a meteor was a reference to "Superman". It... doesn't make a lot of sense, either in or out of context. 🤣
You might want to get a gift guide because your companions' approval sometimes unlocks quests and items...and prevents bad outcomes towards the end of the game

Hello ! In case you wonder why Alistair is so much in love with you or Leliana disliked the gift ; it is because the puppet and boots gifts are of a dlc that basically allows you to cheatcode upon companions approval and to raise and lower it as much as you wish. I would personnally advise against using the gifts sold by Bodahn unless you are curious or stuck in a companion storyline, because you might trigger all their progression too fast. Just so you know. Furthermore, codex pages do update when you acquire more information on said subject ; for exemple, companion's pages may tell you what they like. In any case, I am not usually commenting on youtube videos, nor watching walkthroughs, but yours came up as a suggestion during a DAO nostalgia surge I had, I have watched all the previous episodes first, I must say it is interesting to know how people react and appreciate to the game, blind, and quite satisfying to see how you get into it, and in character, to have your own guesses and opinions on situations and what would happen next (and seing your kill all your allied npcs with friendly fire). Good job, and good game !
Wardens Keep DLC is the only way to get a chest to store your items. That's why i do it early. When you return there, you have a chest to store things.
Game Tip for everyone who wants to play a mage: Be sure to pick up the ONE spell in (Entropy I think, maybe Spirit) that allows you to recharge mana from dead foes. Has NO effect on any companions like/dislike, allows you to have more "free mana" depending on number of foes you kill ... AND it also helps clean up the battle field of dead bodies with NO loot, or leaving JUST the loot bones/bags left behind. Also, CAN be used by ALL mages... just make sure you have it activated for them to benefit from it. Really helps to "soak up the dead for mana" in fights with larger groups of foes.
Clicked on this immediately - so excited to watch you play one of my favourite games, I've enjoyed the past few episodes. Soldier's Peak has a lot of Grey Warden lore! :)
I'm very concerned with what people think women in their 40s actually look like, because Wynne is exactly it. The only thing that really makes her look older is her hair 😂
I feel the same way, I love how everyone can interact with Bean and not just myself, it would have been nice if some other companions in BG3 could do that

the old couple and the crater is a reference to the Superman origin story .the meteor piece you picked up can be crafted by Levi,s brother into the best sword in the game with runes added.
Yeah some companions are less effective in fights because they don't have the right build. Their weapons should match their abilities. Alistair is weapon and shield so if he doesn't have the shield then his abilities can't work. Leliana can be dual wield so she needs two daggers or a sword and dagger. However I prefer her as an archer and she is the only one suited for that. There is a unique bow in the game that's only for her. I prefer her as ranged since there are already so many melee companions. Zevran is the other rouge who is dual wielding. Sten is a two handed warrior.
Do you have a two handed weapon for Sten? 🗡️ It would probably be better than a sword and shield, because all of his combat abilities require a two handed weapon.
Im just suprised leliana cary one dagger instead of bow xD Dont want to backseat or anything as i am a DA nerd and fan, but on quick note about Armors; almost all armor (except robes) are part of item set that give bonus is fully equiped, (the armor set bufff is a green square icon with black human shape) to check what needed for item set you can inspect it. Also armor types increase fatigue (which increase stamina/mana cost) so mages prefer robes, rogues to light arnor, tanks heavy armir and dps medium however it ver relevant and you can choose what lever you fancy or stat wise.
Chantry, Blackstone Irregulars, and Mage group have quests available. Chantry uses Boards (you have already used). The Irregulars uses Chests (next to him), the Mages uses Sacks (next to him).
