I don’t care what anyone says about him. He took a wildcard team and beat prob the greatest quarterback in the nfl and an undefeated team. He took them back and beat the greatest again. U can’t give him shit for what happened last year, he had absolutely no receivers, except for engram and had no running game to help. He basically carried the team by himself. I believe Eli is one the greatest quarterbacks to play the game and is a hall of famer no question
You are delusional -- one of the greatest QBs to play the game? There are literally 15 guys playing now I would rather have over Eli, and he was never in the top 10 his entire career. Never. He played great in 2 playoffs and played like total shit in 4 others, and he is being exposed for the below-average QB he has been for the past few years. He has led the league in INTs 3 separate times and still throws picks and fumbles like its going out of style.
A lot of QBs are good, when they where given time to throw. Eli Manning was beyond good, he was special, just about anytime when he had more than 3 seconds he would make special throws, throws that put the ball right on the WR in golf ball hole size windows that only he could make that throw. That's why he has 2 Superbowls, he was an elite QB that had so many underperforming teams and did not give a f about his stats, and would sling 50/50 balls sometimes just to give his team a chance to win, and that 2011 super bowl run was amazing, he had to will that team to the playoffs with the most single season 4 QT come backs, and then he willed his team through the playoffs, he was the QB with the most moxy, the most determination, against SF 49s in 2011 he took a beating and hung in the pocket and delivered one catchable ball after another while getting hit and destroyed in 2 minute drill. Also let's not forget 2008 when he broke his ribs on his throwing side and did not miss a single game and beat the undefeated Patriots.
Jim Kelly played in 4 Super Bowls in 10 seasons, won 5 Pro Bowls and one All-Pro. Never had more than 20 ints in a season. Kelly was a better QB than Eli
Ronin 77 Jim Kelly is one of the greatest choke artists to ever put on a football helmet Eli is one of the most clutch quarterbacks to ever live, Eli has the rings the clutch moments and better career numbers. @@l.a.9056 How is Eli clutch when he was one-and-done in 4 playoff appearances, throwing 3 tds and 7 ints in those 4 games? His performance in those 4 playoffs ruined the seasons of 4 very good Giants teams. He had two great playoff runs and 4 shitty ones. That's your "Mr. Clutch" for you. So sad to see what’s become of the NYG now. He deserves to be in the HOF.
The only man to defeat the Patriots TWICE in a super bowl during these dynasty years. Pretty sweet. Because of the Patriots and that dynasty with the G.O.A.T. Brady. This just makes it even more sweet and historic. Eli you made us Giant fans feel proud to love our team for many years Thax. The Giants will be back as a dominating force in the NFL. No question.

While I am not a Giants fan (I'm more of a Jets fan case you're interested), Eli Manning was the biggest reason why I've always enjoyed watching the Giants. He has played the quarterback position very well for the Giants throughout his 10+ year career with the franchise. He has put blood, sweat, tear, and soul into every play for the Giants and for people to come out and say that he is the biggest reason for their struggles is just disgusting. From 2013-2017, the Giants have done a terrible job drafting and in free agency. Because of that, they have recorded only 1 winning season in the last several years. Eli Manning is a professional and a class act and deserves to more respect and appreciation for he has done for this organization.
Here's the thing about Eli Manning.... he epitomizes the saying "great players are not always great, they are great when they need to be... and Manning was definitely that in both playoff runs, especially in the Super Bowls, because both times, despite how great the defense played it came down to last second game-winning touchdown drives orchestrated by Manning, with two of the greatest plays/catches in Super Bowl history.
Eli Manning's career was not as great as other QB's but he always gave his all. He competed at a high level and in one breath you love him and after a pic you want to scream. Still he kept going. He gave N.Y 2 championships and was always humble and professional. He will be in the HOF and he will always be respected, loved and remembered as our beloved QB of the NY Giants. Thank you Eli much respect.
Really???? im stunned you made this video. ITs fantastic but all you do is rip on Eli when he has no o-line or d-line the last few years. But appreciate the vid
For every blunder Eli Manning threw he threw 10 beautiful balls that a lot of quarterbacks in the league can't make at the time too bad he never had Supreme Talent on offense
Seeing Eli Manning getting benched for bum Geno Smith was the worst. I will always love you Eli and I’m so happy for what you did in Big blue I was able to experience the best years as a Giants fan 2000-2013 cause of you man. Eli will always be a Big Blue legend #10💙
The last few years I was hoping for the magic to come back. We just don’t have the same team we did back then. I hate that Eli was stuck on such a poor team for 5 years. He never had chance. I’m really gonna miss Eli. And I’d take Plaxico over odel any day.
He was actually a better QB in the second half of his career and he won nothing. That pretty much says something about the two Super Bowls that he "won".
Eli has done so much for the giants org. Even though the last 4 years the org has given him a shitty o line. Being the underdogs and holding the greatest football team to 14 points when they averaged 40ppg is insane. You may say his defense carries but Eli stepped up and led his team when they needed him most. Give him another ring for his last szn. 💎💎💎
Yeah, Eli was great in doing that when he played defense.... Oh, wait.... Yeah, the defense gifted both MVPs to Eli even though he didn't deserve them.
This guy would have a 3rd Super Bowl MVP if Mara and Reese got the offensive line fixed. He went on the road twice and is 7-2 on the road and 8-4 overall. 1 of 5 QBs in history to win 2 Super Bowl MVPs
Damn the ending was sad. I used to think Eli was a tad overrated for us, always thinking he was real good , but not super star good. But I'll tell ya what, he was always top 5-10 QB in the league, and isn't far off that Mark even now. Give him Beckham, Engram, Bark, and Shep for a full season, with one more good oline piece, and I think he can easily have one more playoff run season, similar to Warner and Palmer at the end of there careers for Arizona
Plaxico was a beast. It’s really too bad he was a dummy and shot himself in the leg at that club. He had a lot of great years ahead of him with the Giants. Manning and Burress were a great combo.
Greatest qb of all time. Period. Half grit half grace. He brings honor not just to his position but to mankind itself. Poetry in motion with a pretty face to boot. A personal hero and savior, this man has changed my life in such a way that he will exist within everything I do and everything I am. Much love eli. See you in heaven.
One can't help but comment on the great defensive line the Giants had to protect Manning so his passes could stay crisp and accurate. Thanks for not including any footage of those blathering talking-head pukes who think their analysis is nothing short of a national treasure.
@@fusesmoked9732 Here's the really funny thing. You say that Jones isn't showing much improvement? Well, after 2 years, Jones has the same exact passer rating that Eli has. Still think that Eli is great? How can that be if Eli is a legend.

Thank you for everything Eli, a class act
Respect the man!
Eli was great! I hate that people talk down on him he's a hall of fame QB period. Only team to beat the patriots in the superbowl in that era
eli I will forever love you
You cannot tell the history of the NFL without mentioning Eli Manning
Eli Manning's career was not as great as other QB's but he always gave his all. He competed at a high level and in one breath you love him and after a pic you want to scream. Still he kept going. He gave N.Y 2 championships and was always humble and professional. He will be in the HOF and he will always be respected, loved and remembered as our beloved QB of the NY Giants. Thank you Eli much respect.
Really???? im stunned you made this video. ITs fantastic but all you do is rip on Eli when he has no o-line or d-line the last few years. But appreciate the vid
Sha B Well yeah he’s still my favorite all time player, but I don’t live in the past. He’s not the same guy he was a few years ago
What ever happened to Kevin Boss? I always liked him.
Didn't he blow his knee out late in that game? Never was the same and went to the Raiders.
@@davidorocks62 damn.... that sucks.
God miss this era... I was just watching a Jacobs/Bradshaw highlight vid.
Hall of famer #thankseli
For every blunder Eli Manning threw he threw 10 beautiful balls that a lot of quarterbacks in the league can't make at the time too bad he never had Supreme Talent on offense
His greatness was overshadowed by his Great brother
Seeing Eli Manning getting benched for bum Geno Smith was the worst. I will always love you Eli and I’m so happy for what you did in Big blue I was able to experience the best years as a Giants fan 2000-2013 cause of you man. Eli will always be a Big Blue legend #10💙
God i miss The Older Giants team, 07-12
Yeah we have Odell and Shepard now but man that trio of nicks cruz and manningham was awesome before injuries cut all 3 guys careers short.
What an epic ending.miss ya eli
ELi to manningham in SB might be his greatest throw ever
My favorite nickname for Ben mcadoo "Ben makeadoodoo
Who's here after he retired
Eli’s career to me is the most realistic with a rough start, a high point and a downward trend like a jagged mountain
I'm a raiders fan.eli true professional.true qb
2009-2012 was the "fuck it I'm going deep" big play era, before the dark times. Before the decay
Chills every time burress catches it
Any Eli doubters who don’t think he’s a HOF’er? Just show them this video.
James Lisle Could also show a montage of him being shit. It goes either way.
before i even watch video, i know eli will have a gold jacket 1st ballot, by far best Giants qb ever, Phill simms agrees..
Man we had some good teams
Plaxico was a beast. It’s really too bad he was a dummy and shot himself in the leg at that club. He had a lot of great years ahead of him with the Giants. Manning and Burress were a great combo.
They were rolling that year when that happened, the favorites to repeat. Weird how they fell apart after that.
Most clutchest QB in NFL history
Whose here after eli retired
I miss eli manning
I can watch all day 7:16
Greatest qb of all time. Period. Half grit half grace. He brings honor not just to his position but to mankind itself. Poetry in motion with a pretty face to boot. A personal hero and savior, this man has changed my life in such a way that he will exist within everything I do and everything I am. Much love eli. See you in heaven.
Great comment. Intelligent and stirring insight.
Where do you get all these clips from?
One can't help but comment on the great defensive line the Giants had to protect Manning so his passes could stay crisp and accurate. Thanks for not including any footage of those blathering talking-head pukes who think their analysis is nothing short of a national treasure.
Future HALL OF FAME!
that RB bodied that guy @4:21
I love Reggie and Marvin. I would've loved to see Peyton and Plaxico.
4:46 nice tackling 😂
TY #10 EM
Best quarterback of all time
Greatest quarterback of all time, nobody else couldve done what he did in the situations he was in. Derek jeter of football
This is the year. Saquon rookie of the year. Evan engram super bowl mvp with 2 TDs
SnickidyDoo Well ya got half of it right.
Even with the ROY and an all star receiver, Eli still couldn't win games.
🐐
I’m going to be very disappointed if the Giants don’t retire #10
You can’t spell ELITE without Eli
Or ELIminated.
Eli Manning is the 1 who put the 1 in 18-1.
So sad they've decided to bench him, once again... I know they must go with the new kid but it still hurts ☹💔🏈
lotrgeekgirl1 5 weeks since he was benched, Jones isnt showing much improvement.
@@fusesmoked9732 Here's the really funny thing. You say that Jones isn't showing much improvement? Well, after 2 years, Jones has the same exact passer rating that Eli has. Still think that Eli is great? How can that be if Eli is a legend.
Because he’s a 2x SB MVP and beat the best team of all time. Top 10 in every passing statistic for a QB. 4x pro bowl and is a symbol of NY. That’s a HOFer.
