A Conference given on the topic of the dangers of life out in the world and the gift of a Religious Vocation Support the Marian Friars Minor: www.marianfria...
My dad (a Pentecostal minister) likes to say to people who criticize religion as a "crutch" - "You're right, and you better believe I'm going to lean on that crutch".
I heard my dear sister crying. Her heart, a hidden wound. Her bones declared painful, All after a cloudy afternoon. First, I spoke to Jesus. He reminded me of before. That moment, I snapped and yelled. My needy apology, ignored. He promised to break the cloud. All stress will be destressed. God knew getting wrong settled Would engage His children with their mess. The strike suffered, tempers In God's children; that's her. With a heart speaking to the Boss, I've prayed her strength can endure. Dear Sister, Jesus included By instruction, your hug, my sorry. By that moment's shared action, Two sisters bring God's glory. ~ kk
This video makes me think of my Calling to the Benidictines. I did not enter due to a spirit of pressure attached to the calling. Grateful I am for being called, this video makes me re think it all.
The priest here references Psalm 34:7, regarding "their way will become dark and slippery", but I can't find that passage in Psalm 34. There's something similar in Jeremiah 23:12. Anybody have a clarification?
The quote comes from within a quote of St. Bonaventure but in the Douay-Rheims you will find it at Ps. 34:6, rather than 7. In modern bibles, though I don't know how they will translate it, I believe it will be found in Ps. 35:6. God bless.
My Life is isolated from the foulness of worldly life. Consecrated celibate..contemplative(hermit)..Its All about The Lord!!!🙏💖☺
Good stuff for sure. Praise God for this.

I am currently discerning, what do you mean by spirit of pressure?
What a splendid use of 40 minutes.
40 min. for the rest of your life, maybe.
