Congratulations on getting a deal on a grail pen and thanks for making a video of the unboxing and reaction. Hope to see more content from you in the future.
EF is my favorite nib with Pelikan M800, and M1000.. the black and green is classic.. I have a blue stripe with gold trim as well as the green 1000.. enjoy your treasure! Frank in Colorado
I enjoy my M800. Still do prefer the M1000, but still do like it. some say it is the perfect pen. I wonder if because of the way you hold your pen, if an oblique nib might work for you.
Fabulous Pelikan! Congrats on obtaining your grail pen, and thanks for sharing your new pen experience! =) And you’re correct. The M800 and M1000 have a brass piston assembly, while the other pen models/sizes have the plastic piston assembly.
Okay.... not to brag, but I just ordered that exact pen yesterday. I'm super excited.... you will own one some day kind internet stranger. Keep working at it.
That video was such a disaster it was great! Thank You! I am humming and harring about getting the M800. I think you have nudged me closer to getting one. Soon, I may take the plunge. Ahh, but which colour? …
Main thing is probably the brand name - well known and solidified pen brand in the industry. Exceptional German-engineered piston and nib. The nib itself writes very well. I've heard much less Pelikan nib and QC issues than other well known big brands. The piston filler is the smoothest in the world and completes its full rotation in much fewer turns than any other piston filler. The internal piston uses brass, which adds to cost, too. As an M1000, the nib is huge and uses more gold material to make. The barrel for most Pelikans of the past have been translucent so that adds a layer of complexity to the production of the material. Additionally, the stripes are intricately laid on the barrel, therefore, the barrels are not just injection molded, so that whole process is intricate. The metal trims are coated with 24k gold. Outside of all that, I don't think the other stuff are too cost intensive to make. Hope that helps! I think $500 is a worthy price for the M1000 but you can definitely get them used for ~400 at best.
I have 2 m800 brown n blue fine and ef. Line on body also not straight, i will buy another f nib only, coz i didn’t like my ef. I don’t post also. M600 i have F too light for me so i cap that one. Take care.
Hi there, according to their website, it does look like they ship to Spain. It seems that the recipient would be responsible for customs duties and taxes. Unfortunately, I do not have any experience with Atlas shipping internationally, but I’m sure if you email them at info@atlasstationers.com, they’ll be happy to answer any questions you may have. 😊
I bought this pen but I no have address. Please send me address pen shop. I live in Pakistan. Here no available pen. My Address is Sir Rizwan Bhatti Sohdra wazirabad Punjab Pakistan .
Omg yes 😅😂 Both are really good options!! I tested a m1000 and haven’t stopped thinking about it. And I do have a KOP on pre-order, not entirely sure when it’ll arrive😅
Love sharing your joy in the unboxing. Keep cherishing the special purchase!
Thank you so much! I definitely will!

I bought the blue/black M800 from Atlas Stationers yesterday. I'm super stoked about it. :D
Congratulations!! I recently acquired one of my “grail” pens, which was a Pelikan M1000 Renaissance Brown. I hope you enjoy your pen as much as I do!
It's stunning! Congrats on your new pen!😊
Pelikan m800 (and Pelikans in general ) are broad writers, I have one with a fine nib and to me it writes like a medium.

I am very curious. That is a beautiful pen, but what makes it so expensive?

The shop Atlas Stationers delivers to Europe (Spain) or it is a customs nightmare? Do you know? Thanks in advance. Such a magnificent pen you have.
Anyone know? Thank you people.

A white box with EndlessPens tape on the edges might as well be a loaded treasure chest .
This was my grail, and told myself I’d stop here. Guess what? Lol. But this pen is wonderful, it writes like butter.
next shop... M1000, or Sailor KOP
