As others have said, that’s a deviled egg platter. I have a different one, but search for some videos on my channel to find a slump schedule I use for mine. Would probably work pretty well for you too.

I'm just worried that it's fairly deep, so they're going to have little nipples on the bottom

I just got my first kiln. I just can’t wait. Can the drop rings be used to create the lip on the edge of a plate? Anyone can answer, all help welcomed

I don't know, they don't slant inwars well, so it might be a noticible drop from the edge of the ring to the kiln or shelf floor, but if kiln washed, it would be worth trying.
