how does the india ink not dry up on you/ i tried it recently and as soon as the ink touched the page, by the time i got my brush wet to blend it, it was dry and not moving anywhere
stevie smith could be down to the paper you’re using, when I use finer grained paper I find it dries a bit faster so I tend to stick to rough grain. If not that you could just need to use more ink or even try wetting the area before applying it. I’m going to be making a new tutorial very soon so hopefully that’ll give better insights 🤙🏻
Hey man I would love to know what marker you used to trace this! Can't seem to find a good marker that doesn't dry out on heavy watercolor paper like arches. Thank you!
Gino Santarelli hey, I use a uni pen 'super marker' to line my paintings with. They do get pretty jacked up after a couple of pieces, but they're pretty cheap so easy to replace
Hey man! Very compliment, this is amazing. I would like to ask what kind of brush do you use in this video. Martora kolinsky? And what kind of numbers of brush for black and for shader. Tnx!
Dude, this is awesome... but there is one thing holding it back, The watercolour paper... looking at the fades tells me its not 100% cotton WC papaer... invest money in your art supplies, it will pay off!
Richie thanks man! I normally use arches watercolour paper, but found an alternative which is half the price and good for knocking out flash for my studio walls

Ha, i`m the same mate... currently using Saunders Warerford paper, similar to Archers but 2/3 the price... Keep up the good work man.
Vellum bristol paper also works incredibly well for ink. I use it for my ink pieces
