Hi.. I was searching for the C. TX gardeners TH-cam to get some gardening information. I loved your gardening philosophy, including your opinion about the house pets: totally agreed on it! I learned some good advice from you here. Thank you!!
What kind of Apple tree do you have? Also, what part of Texas are you in? I’m north of Houston by an hour. Only my third year here, praise God for Texas! Planted 2 varieties of Peaches, blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, Figs. But haven’t gotten an apple yet. I’m told Anna does well?! Thank you, I need all the help I can get gardening in the heat and humidity. Blessings!
i have a small floridaking peach tree in a container on my driveway. it does great and the fruit is amazing. im in kingwood near humble. maybe you got a bad tree?
@@MyTexasYard good luck! nothing like a ripe peach to take the mind of the sweltering weather. mine just finished blooming last week and i can see about 25 peaches. this is second year, last year had 14. i dont expect a lot since its in a pot on blazing hot concrete, hoping to create a 'potted orchard' later this year in the backyard where it will be off the concrete and get a bit more shade. i moved to Texas a few years back with no idea how to grow food, wish i had, wouldve definitely changed my priorities for house hunting. I love finding channels like yours to help me w my growing endeavors!! Thanks for being on youtube!

It could be. I’m going to give it another year with lots of compost and see what happens.
