My favourite track on this video. Sadly they didn't play it in Barcelona. Are there any other recordings of the song being performed live? Can't find any
Hash is gone, and now Natalia Clavier and Loulou don't appear to be here. What's going on? I'm glad I got to see them all at their show in Harrisburg, PA back in September 2021.
Yeah there sure have been some lineup changes, but I gotta say the show was tip top. Been to about 10 of their shows thus far and notice during this one they played more songs without vocals than usual. Could be because they were one vocalist short.
Would be cool to hear A Gentle Dissolve in concer!. My intro to the band thanks to Paranoid Park in my old stomping grounds of Portland, OR (specifically the skate park under the Burnside Bridge, where teenage Gabe goes skate boarding & hangs out with other skateboarders. It was written by Portlander Blake Nelson, & directed by Gus Van Sant, for those of you that may not be familiar with the movie (he also wrote the screenplay). I highly recommend the movie. A good morality and cautionary tale, and well acted, especially since the actor playing Gabe was new to acting. A very young Taylor Momsen is also in the movie, as Gabe's love interest.
This was an awesome concert, btw!!! They're coming to my neck of the woods in FL in a few months. Hoping to be able to go see them! Would be my first time!
It's called "The Foundation" It's on Sounds From the Thievery Hi-Fi album. I love it!! Link to official music video here: th-cam.com/video/bVgk7KZvavI/w-d-xo.htmlsi=uoRR8EpwMo3PM1uz
That's a great question. Hash has been an integral part of my Thievery Live experiences for years. Nonetheless, the show was great with the new gentleman thumping those beats.
I spoke with the merchandise dude over a year ago. Hash was booted. He wouldn’t tell me why but judging from his facial expressions it seems to be something quite serious. Turns out my neighbors cousin is his replacement.
God how I miss TC's new appearances... And yet the sound quality here is repulsive. I know, one normally can't record audio off the sound engineering rig due to copyright but still. My old nokia 3310 would have done a better job it seems. Recording peeps, have you not heard of dedicated mikes?

What happened to Richest Man in Babylon?

Is that a new bassist
It indeed is. Hash has made an exit. Haven't heard a peep on it.
