Hi Richy, you finally discovered “Tres Mares” the amount of bikers who don’t know this place exists is amazing. They always head to the Picos. I’ve been biking this spot and staying at Arija for the last 20 years. The lake is man made and called “Pantano Del Ebro” if you take the Reinosa sur exit and head to Arija you’ll have 27 kilometres of smooth stone (not tarmac) super grippy road with no potholes, flashbanding or manhole covers. It’s a bikers dream. Thanks for the vid dude. I was there for 2 months this year.
It just warms my heart seeing someone showing the beautiful landscapes of northern Spain and enjoying it so much. I am from Asturias and the north remains a big unknown for people outside of (and also within) Spain. Keep it up and safe riding, your videos rock!
As Thin Lizzy might say, 'The boys are back in town!' Superb. Maybe Honda should lob you a few shekels for showing what you can do on your own ATAS? Enjoying this series a lot. Happy travels 👍
The AT is really adding to this tour, it's letting you go to places on the bike that you'd never be able to on a road bike, all those little off road excursions have been mega.
Another amazing video Richy. Funnily enough I had planned that route for one of our days out there in October (our first visit to the Picos). Can't wait !!!
On the next Wild Bad tour of the US, you need to go to Colorado and ride to the top of Pikes Peak. 14,000+ feet truly amazing up there and a great place to grab breakfast. If you start on the east coast, I'll put the crew up for a night or two. In Maryland! Enjoying the ride in Spain. Too damn cold to ride here. VFR's are all snuggled in their beds with visions of warm weather and high speeds in their heads.
Thanks Richy - more great video to watch - just sitting here watching you 1st Ireland tour starting in the north on ep 6 right now - shit that tractor was close 😁”🥃”...Spain ep 2 next up - the bollocks 👍
From 4:20 carry on up that wiggly road through 13 hairpins and you'll reach a small village after about 7 miles. I stayed in a small hotel there owned by a Belgian biker who got smashed up in a nasty bike accident. Spend his days now totally p---ed. Great trip, did it solo so a bit short of companionship. Must do it again soon.
Hi Richy, Really enjoying both this series and the Shetland trip. looking forward to episode 3, any idea when it will be released as I’m in the planning stages for our 1st trip to the Pico’s on the 1st April and need all the help I can get. Picking up the new AT on the 1st March ………. It’s going to be epic !
Hi richy, yet another good vid its a wow wow wow from me. How's the scotch trip going keep looking at the weather doesn't look too bad. Stay safe buddy 🙏
Great series Richy. Absolutely stunning scenery. have booked the Picos on the back of this in April. I may have missed it but what is the name of the viewpoint at the end. Took my breath away as you pulled up! What a view
It’s a Scott Tourance DP leather jacket Stevie. I think they are EOL now I was lucky to get this last one in the shop. You can still find them online but limited sizing.
looks like a great trip. I am interested in buying and Africa Twin and was wondering if you would recommend the Electronic Suspension model over the standard. I am probably going to go for the manual gearbox. I am new to offroad bikes but want to have something i can do miles on and ride the back lanes here in Ireland with the ability to do more serious offroad in the future. Loving the content, its part of the reason I am willing to come out of my comfort zone of tarmac only riding.
Hi Dylan and thanks for being here. Re the ES or standard; I love gadgets and tend to swing that way. However, I’ve never had to change my suspension settings at all in all the different riding I do. So, is it really worth the extra £££’s to have it? 🤔
Hi Richy great episode also loved The Wild Atlantic Way I’m going over for two months April &May a bit worried about the SNOW??. Can you recommend me a travel insurance company for biking in Spain?? Thanks looking forward to episode three , looking forward to the CA- 643
Love this video, ho wow, OMG looook at that ,and Pete English look at this road amazing ,... what do you plan your routes on do you use calimoto while in Spain or a sat nav. Would you share your daily routes? 👍👍
Hey Richy you’ve give me some food for thought on my Picos trip this year, Thanks, which tank bag have you got? Is it the GS? That’s the one I have but I think it’s a bit too big….🤔superb video as usual, really enjoyed it with some red wine and choccy🤠🍷
Hi Richy, I thoroughly enjoyed all episodes of the Picos, could you give me a rough estimate as to how much it costs to do this trip, ie, ferry, hotel etc. I would love to do this sometime. Thank you and keep up the good work.
What's the name of that location where that mountain was at the end of video rich, never saw that road or mountain in any of the other picos videos or are you some were else I watches to pick places to visit when I get over
OMG. Words fail me how amazing it all looks,it's just out of this world pal and you got to do it with good mates and your Dad, top notch 👌 👍 👏

Beautiful. Absolutely stunning, even the shade of blue sky seems more vibrant there!
Good work fella. 18 bikes is a lot to manage.
As Thin Lizzy might say, 'The boys are back in town!'
Superb.

Excellent Richy.
Wish I was with you all 👍👍 great show 👍👍

Treating me very well, cheers!
Watching now 😁
Great video Richy, stunning roads and views, giving me lots of ideas for future trips. Need to work on your pronunciation of Cantabria though lad.
How so?
Sorry Richy it was the Mrs who picked up on it, honest! The stress is on the middle 'a' CantAbria.
Love this video, ho wow, OMG looook at that ,and Pete English look at this road amazing ,... what do you plan your routes on do you use calimoto while in Spain or a sat nav. Would you share your daily routes? 👍👍
I plan at home, way in advance. Takes a lot of work. Then program my routes into both Google Maps, and Calimoto.

Price varies due to ferry prices. Usually around £1300-1500 inc everything 👍
Guau fantastic 🤪🤙💪👏👍😍🥰🤷🏍️💨💨
Brilliant!! What navigation app do you use on your phone? 😊
Calimoto
Hi Richy, you have to use Martins laugh in ever video you do bud.
Nagyon jó !
Hi Rich, what Sat Nav App are you running on your phone on this trip? I used Google maps last year for Italy trip but found it a bit clunky.. TIA 👍
Calimoto
Great video, due my first trip to France in June, what navigation did you use on your phone and did you pre save the routes?
I used Google Maps and Calimoto app. All routes had been worked on at home before the trip.
meanwhile heres me looking forward to wearing only one pair of riding gloves in the uk lol
whens the next spanish tour is it announced on here or the website? is there an fb page?
Beautiful scenery. Video camera movement very quick , makes it bit dizzy. Think with the excitement.
Brilliant
That manhole wasn't open on your way up boys. Let hope nothing falls into it!
What's the name of that location where that mountain was at the end of video rich, never saw that road or mountain in any of the other picos videos or are you some were else I watches to pick places to visit when I get over

Quando venite in Italia?

Must have been a bit sketchy turning around with that AT on the last scene, we’ll for me anyways
Would have struggled without the rear handbrake for sure! Properly steep
Hey Richy. I notice your not using your gloves to touch your phone... Do you gloves not work with the touch screen .. Being a pain for me .. for sure.
Hit and miss..
You giggling lot are so funny, I'm coming with you all next time
Have I missed a chapter, where’s episode 3?
