Superb Richy, great weather awesome roads enjoyed the video as always, surprised and the end whilst filling up the bikes.....the diesel spout is bigger and shouldnt fit into a petrol tank...! Regards Glenn. 👌👍
Such a lovely place to ride, was there last summer touring 2 up on my little Vespa gts300, and will be back after this year on my Enfield at the start of an 8 week solo trip to celebrate retirement, thanks for reminding me how lovely it is Richy
This was a great video. My wife and I rode in the Potes area for a few days this spring. I recognise the pass where you rode up to a viewing area. We rode down that pass in the evening no traffic. My wife was squeezing her legs so tightly on my hips when she got off at the hostel in Potes she was twitching N 621 is one fine road. We rode there with friends earlier in the trip and it was a little foggy. Awesome ride! Thanks for sharing.
Brilliant again I saw your sticker at the stag last May when I rode the Picos again, iv been all over Europe and it’s still my favorite place to ride, thanks mate brilliant memories 👍
Love the Picos, great to see some of the roads on your vid that I know. Done Spain each year for 20 odd years This year will be the Pyrenees, only because the ladies want to fly out for a holiday by the beach, so we will ride out to meet them. But, leaving the GS at home this year, trying it on CRF300's. If Itchy Boots can do it.....! Keeping fingers crossed!
Awesome views, thanks. I once filled a Multistrada uo with diesel…the fecking BP diesel pumps had green handles! Got it drained by the roadside…£200…and was on my way by midnight. Bike was 100% ok afterwards.
Well jealous watching that, been to the Picos five times now and this made me feel like jumping on the bike and heading off, just absolutely love the place.
that’s. shambles of a road. People see the flyers and think they are coming to this great escape but scotland has one route that’s it. I used to do that annually with my mates up until 2013 and after the motorhome mayhem started we don’t bother. Basically my back door and wouldn’t waste the fuel
Great video. Can’t wait to go. My first time riding abroad in July is going to be a tour around Picos. My mate has been loads of times thankfully, he’s going with me to show me the routes and sites. I’m like a giggling schoolgirl with excitement. 😂👍
Happened to me here in Wales ... at a Gulf station where Premium is a big orange label with a little sliver of green or black. I was knackered from a day's riding - stopped at a premium petrol pump, but it was out of order. Went around to another available pump and saw orange. Dawned on me after 5 litres! After 5 hours of waiting and getting 'saved' (£250 later) ... I was on my way again. Was an expensive day.
I feel for Pete and the diesel. I once filled my GSA1200 from completely empty to absolutely full up with diesel (circa 34 liters) and only noticed when the fuel nozzle clicked at the end. As long as Pete didnt start it, it can be drained out and then filled up with petrol to dilute the remanents. Felt like a complete muppet. I hope you go along to Funte De at the end of the road from Potes. We stopped in the hotel at the end of the road with the cable car up to the cafe on the top of the mountain.
Hi Rich, great video and view from our journey, if you go to Portugal, try make route N103, N222 and N2 going back to south. Weather this week as good. ✌️😎🇵🇹 Take care mate.
I bet Pete felt a plonker... doh. I very nearly snuck over to Spain the other week on the bike, but couldn't sort the logistics to make it worthwhile for the short time I had available... Can't wait for some warm funshine, even if it is just in the UK
So sitting here watching another one of your great videos and I was wondering how you decide which bike to take, for me I’d take my VFR on those roads. Obviously if your doing off roading as well the AT comes into its own? Man those roads look great.
Richy, do you have recorded all the way down from top San Glorious to Potes? I do love this road… I hope I could ride soon with my Tiger… with the VFR was amazing…
I literally thought when you was putting your pump back imagine if he accidently put diesel in. 2 seconds later the chap infront had 🤦🏼♂️🤣. Not ideal haha
Just wondering what sort of costs you’d allow for… reason I ask is when I’ve tried to price it the return ferry is coming in at nearly a grand then you’ve accommodation obviously to add… just looking to get a rough idea, any advice greatly appreciated! Amazing roads and views 😲😲😁😁😁

Hi Guys, I do love the Picos too because, in adition, I was born there. 😃. Great video.
Wow, lucky you! 🙌

Although this was last year, it's great to see you back group touring, especially with the drone.
Hope you’re well, my friend!

Stop it Richy, it was as low as 3 degrees in Teesdale yesterday, nice ride though. Wallonia for me late June, hopefully Picos next year😎
Wow 💥 I would love to make a trip like this! Great roads with amazing views. Well done 👍
Very nice roads. The next thing on our to do list. 👌🏻🙋♀️🙋♂️🏍️🏍️
Yes, keep it quiet. I was there last October 😊
Oh man, I would love to do this one year!!
Some lovely scenery, and roads are not really busy 😊
They’re never busy. 🤫👍
Great roads… I guess it be more enjoyable on the VFR?
Not necessarily. You can still have a LOT of fun on ADV bikes 👍

We sure did, as always. Yeah, all was good with Pete’s bike!

I’m with you on that, Pete. I’m ready for some sun now. Hope you’re well, my friend!
@@RichyVida me too... am over winter now lol.
Aye all good in the hood mate 🙂👍
Awesome…..In his defence the GS really should run on diesel .
It'd be more economical when pulling a plough that's for sure
We are there in May first timers 11 of us going can't wait 😊
Hope you enjoy it!
I'm there end of May, off down through Portugal too (two week tour).
Fantastic!

Those roads ARE great! Yes, u would take the VFR if we weren’t planning on doing the trail. She’ll be having an outing there this year 👍

@@kwak1k aye just good he realised before firing it or priming ignition
The challenge is to show me a bad road in picos, i dont think its possible
Great vid did pete sort his gs out
Yes, but if faffing with siphoning but never skipped a beat 👍

Is this last week fella?? I have 6 days off starting on Tuesday. I'm off if weather is like this.
No, this was October 👍
I literally thought when you was putting your pump back imagine if he accidently put diesel in. 2 seconds later the chap infront had 🤦🏼♂️🤣. Not ideal haha
Hi is there any chance you can put up the route you took as I am going in October and I have never been or can I download the route somewhere. Thanks
I can give you some pointers, no prob. Rich@wildbadtouring.com
@@RichyVida thanks
Is this the one that followed Iceland trip?…..(oops ignore you said it just after I wrote it)
😆
Great riding! Picos is on my list - maybe this year. How did Pete get sorted?
Took us a while, but managed to siphon it all off, and refill. 🤦♂️😂
My sticker is just below yours from last year and I will be there again in less than 3 weeks
Have a great time! We’ll be there in Sept and Oct all being well 👍

Yes, ferry prices are through the roof now, unfortunately.
you need to book early we booked last july for june this year 2 sharing a cabin 2 bikes less the £600 each
love the vids but how to get involved in the tours / vids
Rich@wildbadtouring.com
Can you imagine if Martin and filled his bike with diesel 😂
Hahaha
Haha yes, there would have been an entire episode dedicated to it !!
@@mrkielbasa what I was thinking! Feature length! 😂
Hahahahahaha
Wheres Egon
That ship sailed years ago!
Can I go with you ?
Em - so what’s the deal with Pete and the diesel … “🥃”…
Whoops! (Got your email) 👍
Traffic signs are there to inform drivers about the route, not to cover them with sticks. Please don't do it, at least outside the UK.
First
Mr English you plonker!!
Diesel in tractor....what's the problem? 😜😜
Never mind Pete, can happen to the best of us.
