I bought HTX IVT for 15.40 Lakhs in 2019 October in love with this car an allrounder gives an average of 16 - 17 and very low maintanance clocked 85000kms in last three years no issues at all brake pads are still stock which is surprise for me too but thats how good parts quality is for the car.
I own IMT seltos for 18months now, I agree with reverse gear issue.. it’s a pain for me as I have to park thru a steep ramp everyday. So far it got towed once to the service center for a mechanical/electrical problem. I do not drive much just 1K a month.
Driving iMT from 6 months, very good experience. Will recommend to everyone

I have purchased seltos HTK IMT Diesel, it was delivered 2 weeks back.
Existing IMT Users, Anyone faced issues with creep/crawl/hill start assist functionality in first gear in IMT gearbox,
when I am stuck at traffic signals, and roads has small slopes like 5 degrees or 10 degrees, then in first gear, the crawl/hill start assist functionality does not work as expected, my car rolls backwards slightly and I have to manually press accelerator ASAP to avoid further rollback. The car does not hold for 3 seconds at all, it rolls backwards as soo as i release the break.
Same thing happens for reverse gear, if there is 5-10 degrees slope, car moves forward, and i have to press accelerator ASAP to avoid movement ahead.
FYI , hill assist feature working fine on steep slopes in hilly roads, mall ramps. The car holds for 2-3 seconds and enough time to move ahead without rollback.
Better go for automatic than imt as you have to downshift manually.
There is no "problem" with iMT. Infact it's super convenient at very affordable price.
Drive it for a few hours, and you get used to it very easily.
Gear shifts are butter smooth. Car picks up easily in 1st and 2nd gear (why people harp on picking the car from very low rpm in 3rd gear ? Just shift the gear down to 2 and pick it. Even manual car struggles in 3rd gear at low rpms with 2 or more people in car)
I have a manual Ecosport diesel and venue iMT petrol. There is some getting used to initially, but now i can even switch between them easily.
If you drive in heavy traffic generally, go for it without a 2nd thought. If you are super enthusiast, then take a test ride and decide.
Auto clutch dose not stall in 3rd gear ...

If today I have the budget of 15-16 lacs then I will go for seltos IMT & sun shades are very very useful thing & I think boot is not much practical if someone carries luggage too much for trips. Deep boot space is practical like baleno & fronx

Bhai if your RPM IS LOW THEN what is the sense of shifting to third gear I didn't understand what is your ek kamee in this car. I think your fuel efficient personal your shifting the gears very fast in low RPM so please dont say you have ek kamee in this car Ok bhai happy journey 😊

Bhai is car ko abhi 3 mahine bhi nahin hue and everything is changed in this car. Front grill, headlights, fog lights, tail lights, steering wheel, back seat headrest, handrest. 😮😮😮
50k increased on ex showroom price for bs6 ph2 seltos. This is balanced now with extra features
