7:11 Florida and pretty much the entire SouthEast portion of the US is prone to hurricanes especially places like North and South Carolina that don't necessarily have the infrastructure to sustain major flash flooding and winds (Both Carolinas and I believe also Tennessee were recently devastated by Hurricane Helene and Florida was hit bad by Hurricane Milton) This show takes place in the Outer Banks off the coast of North Carolina.

Outer Banks is a real place in NC, Kildare is what doesn’t exist. I think most of the filming was in Charleston SC, due to laws in the Outer banks that prevented the directors from wanting to film there.
don idk if ur reading this, but obx is filled with hella improv. not only is the actual cast really good freinds, but they improv half their lines, which makes all the dailogue seem much more natural. JJ ON TOP
