Oh my god. PLEASE MAKE THIS A SERIES. This show quickly becomes a lot less horror and a lot more drama. If you stick with it long enough to get to the drama, you'll be hooked.
Supernatural isn’t horror horror. Not scary but more of a dramatic spooky show mixed with action and a lot of comedy. It is very compelling and amazing. The fact that it went on 15 seasons is reason enough to show how great it was. It was CW’s longest running show for a reason.
Supernatural gets better with the seasons as well, a lot of the time it isn't horror or thriller later on, it's more into their lives and drama, etc, though obviously having the aspects of angels, ghosts, demons and God mixed in, and it's so cool because there's a whole crossover episode with scooby doo.
@Mrlee911 The show originally was supposed to end at season 5. A lot of people see that as the ending that should've been. However others disagree and enjoyed all 15 seasons, so at least make it to season 5 finale. It's very good.
Trust me. I hate horrors too but this show is more about the brothers' dynamic than anything else and is awesome. The two actors (Dean - Jensen Ackles, and Sam - Jared Padalecki) became so close they're actually godfather to each others kids. ❤
The women was usually targeting unfaithful men because that was her unresolved trauma in death. She went after Sam and Dean specifically because she recognized them as a threat but she was still bound by her little ritual, so she tried to FORCE them into it like a square peg in a round hole.
20:24 of you haven’t already, I highly recommend finishing this one. It goes to some CRAZY places along the journey and there are some truly unforgettable characters you’ll fall in love with
Please PLEASE continue to watch this one. I watched it with my dad when I was younger and we loved it all the way. It’d be awesome for you to watch it all the way through, but I think we’ll all be happy for any supernatural crumbs we get from you.
OMG that's my favorite show ever, i watched it from start to finish like 8 times now and it never gets boring, hands down a masterpiece of a series. My mom actually introduced me to this show like 10 years ago, she remembered watching few episodes on television then she wanted me to find it online and we watched together like 11 seasons, after that she got sick from cancer and wasnt feeling well for few years, she fought hard for like 3 years but in the end she just couldn't keep on going. She passed away in 2020 and this show always reminds me of her cuz we had a blast watching it together. I'm sad she never got to see last few seasons but I still keep on rewatching this show for her and for myself cuz it brings me peace.
I would really love seeing you give this series a shot, it does pivot away from the horror aspect as the seasons go on and in my opinion it just gets better and better :)
It is just them traveling different places solving different cases but eventually there’s a real main story line that comes into play which is very interesting
18:51 yeaa the CGI really is cooked 😂😂 but the show started almost 20yrs ago, it was A CW show, and had a very low budget so if you're gonna watch it, watch it for the plot and other stuff cause it doesn't get better for a while 😂

There is no way he’s gonna finish this show. He didn’t even keep watching flash and arrow so supernatural won’t be continued either. Maybe and that’s a big maybe until the end of season 5.
I'd say give it a go. Yes the seas are a bit long but 100% worth it. Also the scary/horror stuff is mainly in just seas 1. Also this show just gets better and better. Also the reason the show is 15 seas long is because the show ended but the fans was so into it and was so massive they brought it back.
I literally just finished watching this show like a month ago. I binged it in about 2 months. That was the best decision. It was long enough to the point where I wasn't broken up that it ended and satisfied that it did end, even if the ending was supposed to be better. Their voices sound so young here too. I didn't even notice they had changed while watching. Jensen and Jared are genuinely two of my favorite actors now, right alongside David Tennant and Keanu Reeves.
OH BOY YOU ARE IN FOR ONE HELLAVA TIME! 15 seasons, roughly 45 minutes per episode. Finally finished the series last week. Been watching on and off the past 10 years! All time favorite show!
This show has some horror moments, but I'd say it falls under a fantasy/action/mystery drama before it falls under horror. You won't be disappointed by it. :)

One option is to treat the first 5 seasons like the entire show. There were plans to end the show with the S5 finale so you could always stop there and get a full and satisfying story.
It took me a while to get past the first 3 episodes (watched them like 3 times) but once I made it through and got to s2 this was one of my fav shows ever! It’s funny and dramatic and sad and happy! Love it
She also played in a "little" show called Friday Night Lights. She is such an amazing actress and you SHOULD make this a series, you won't regret watching SPN all the way through.

The first 5 seasons of this show are easily some of the best TV ever written. The last 10 seasons are good TV with some hit and miss episodes here and there. The show was only supposed to go 5 seasons, but it was so popular that they kept renewing it and expanding the lore to accommodate the new seasons.
When Supernatural first came on in the UK it was advertised as "scary just got sexy" so I avoided it like the plague! A few weeks in I was unable to sleep and flicking through the channels when Geoffrey Dean Morgan popped up on the screen. "Oooh" I thought "it's Geoffrey Dean Morgan" so I watched the episode. That weekend I caught up on the episodes I missed and then watched it every week. I have all the seasons on dvd, I have Dean's amulet and ring, I have t-shirts, I think it is safe to say that I liked it. Seasons 1-5 were perfection after that it got a bit silly but there certainly were some gems. Well worth sticking with even if you don't do any more online xxx
My boy, LISTEN, this show is PEAK TV , especially for the first 4 seasons! It’s worth watching in its entirety but the FIRST few seasons made millions fall in love with these brothers and their stories. If you keep watching , I’m SAT. I love a newcomer to SPN!

I’m SO happy you’re doing supernatural!! And believe it or not but there is a lot of humor coming as well. The show isn’t quite as dark as the first few episodes suggests. It’s a very well balanced show when you get further into it.

I have watched all 15 seasons MANY times. Season 1is more monster of the week... season 2 starts to get more into the bigger story arc.And from there it is FIRE. It stayed on 15 seasons for a reason. (And it was the CAST that decided to end there. The network was willing to keep going.) PS I am not into horror AT ALL and still love this. It;s more... fantasy lore than actual horror imho. And I freaking LOVED your reaction and am crossing my fingers and toes and arms and everything else hoping you stay with the show lol.

I was hooked on Supernatural from the very first episode woman in white and watched every single episode all the way up to 327. The show starts off with them trying to find their dad and then who killed their mom. And then it just goes from there. The show is really about family particularly the relationship between Sam and dean. They just happened to tell the story through Supernatural beings. Every city town has legends, urban myths, about a woman in white on the freeway being picked up in cars and never alive again. There's always the myth about the guy in the forest with the hook and bloody mary. You'll encounter every single Supernatural thing you can think of and a whole bunch more. Yes that's how you put babies to sleep you put them in the bed and let them fall asleep. And if they start fussing let them fuss you have the baby monitor. Sadly it does happen that after giving birth to a child or having children and the woman snaps she kills her children I adore this show. I've seen it through 5 or 6 times. But if you couldn't handle this episode this is not the TV show for you. Sadly if you continue this is not the channel for me. You're running commentary makes me think that I'm at Monday night football. A lot of your questions were answered so if you could hold on to them and ask at the end not to say you shouldn't make reactions throughout but I think they spent more screen time with you talking then the show. I wish you the best and hope that the new year brings you many blessings and good memories
Greatest show ever, thanks to the charisma of the actors who play the two brothers. It's laced with drama, sacrifice, thrills, lore building, and occasional bursts of humor majestically interpreted by Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles. :)
To run through the creators original intended story, you really only need to watch the first 5 seasons. But after that is some of the best characters. Love this show.

I have watched all 15 seasons MANY times. Season 1is more monster of the week... season 2 starts to get more into the bigger story arc.And from there it is FIRE. It stayed on 15 seasons for a reason. (And it was the CAST that decided to end there. The network was willing to keep going.) PS I am not into horror AT ALL and still love this. It;s more... fantasy lore than actual horror imho. And I freaking LOVED your reaction and am crossing my fingers and toes and arms and everything else hoping you stay with the show lol.

Count me in! Love, LOVE this show, and I adore how genuine your reactions are. Some eps are scary as, but if you made it through this relatively unscathed, I truly think you can get into this series. I was hooked on Supernatural from the very first episode woman in white and watched every single episode all the way up to 327. The show starts off with them trying to find their dad and then who killed their mom. And then it just goes from there. The show is really about family particularly the relationship between Sam and dean. They just happened to tell the story through Supernatural beings. Every city town has legends, urban myths, about a woman in white on the freeway being picked up in cars and never alive again. There's always the myth about the guy in the forest with the hook and bloody mary. You'll encounter every single Supernatural thing you can think of and a whole bunch more. Yes that's how you put babies to sleep you put them in the bed and let them fall asleep. And if they start fussing let them fuss you have the baby monitor. Sadly it does happen that after giving birth to a child or having children and the woman snaps she kills her children I adore this show. I've seen it through 5 or 6 times. But if you couldn't handle this episode this is not the TV show for you. Sadly if you continue this is not the channel for me. You're running commentary makes me think that I'm at Monday night football. A lot of your questions were answered so if you could hold on to them and ask at the end not to say you shouldn't make reactions throughout but I think they spent more screen time with you talking then the show. To run through the creators original intended story, you really only need to watch the first 5 seasons. But after that is some of the best characters. Love this show.
