My sister went to our Dad's to help out. The clothes were taking forever to dry. Someone had hard piped the exhaust and had so many elbows in it. She said it was 2/3 full of wet lint! She has since corrected the problem.
And it wasn't cleaned until it completely stopped drying clothes after they'd been using multiple cycles to dry them for some time... I bet my next paycheck on that
I mean damn, it can’t be that expensive to have these people come out and clean vs losing your damn house… I mean once or twice a year get it done folks
@fjb960 I clean the basic lint trap every time I use it I clean the inside out couple times a year people don't realize how much gets past the basic trap
there should be some sort of regulation that forces you every X amount of years to hire a service to come out and do this. It shouldn’t be hundreds and hundreds of dollars. It should be a fair price. And there shouldn’t be scammers out there like there are. But it’s so valuable.
They must have stopped using the dryer because their clothes would not have been drying and for sure a fire would have started. I had a bird nest in my vent and it caused the Lent to clog up and the dryer would over heat and shut off.
A friend let me use his shore house once. Told me beforehand the clothes dryer takes forever to dry clothes. I took the vent hose off and pushed a 8 ft long lint sausage out of it. I never saw so much lint in my life. The dryer worked magnificently afterward
I once cleaned a dryer that was 40 ft long and hadn’t been cleaned in around 20 years the owner said the previous cleaners were working on the wrong exit only just discovering the real one when she had some other company come out to service her roof and confirmed where it was the people who found it said they took out two giant intact pieces of lint and could only go in a short distance so they called us and we were there for around an hour just constantly cleaning the vent no matter how long we waited the lint just kept flying out it almost completely covered the small area in the backyard where it was located
My landlord does clean the lent out in my apartment complex laundry room. Not the lent catcher, nor the vents. Their so lazy . I have reported it, but nothing gets done.
You can use it to start fires.. camping, fireplaces, stoves, etc. we save all of ours because we have a case iron stove that heats the entire house and the lint ALWAYS makes it easier to get the fire lighted and going and stay lit.
Video 75 of so satisfying 🤤
I’m shocked it didn’t catch fire
I am surprised the dryer even worked!
Or hadn't caught fire yet! 🫣
Bet they spent well over a thousand bucks on years and years of running the dryer over and over to get a dry load.
This is why people need the dryer vents mounted to an outside wall only,
That's how mine is. It's only a few inches thick. Super easy to clean.
Holy moly. The guy's dryer must be in upstate New York and the vent is somewhere in Manhattan. How long is that friggin dryer vent?!
We rented a house that had the dryer vent go up over then out. It was clogged almost as bad as this one. I used a yard blower to clear it out.
Blew it OUT?
@@gtarules1 And some!
You'd have thought, over the years, someone would have noticed that the dryer wasn't drying...😂😂😂😂😂

I feel like I'm breathing in dust just watching this 😂
How is this house still standing? I'm incredibly shocked it has not burned down.
I mean damn, it can’t be that expensive to have these people come out and clean vs losing your damn house… I mean once or twice a year get it done folks
I clean my dryer couple times a year just so works better and cheaper can't imagine letting it go
People have a hard time with common sense lol
Why not before each load?
@fjb960 I clean the basic lint trap every time I use it I clean the inside out couple times a year people don't realize how much gets past the basic trap
I can't believe it didn't catch 🔥
These videos shock me that these houses haven’t caught on fire
It makes me think there was no filter for that much lint to exist.
Just watching this video is making me sneeze, oh boy my allergies!
Yup, I saw a Pez dispenser and a pet rock!!!
It was very satisfying watching you suck up all the lint you would pulled out Thank you
Aint no way that is 50 years of lint...
Howww? Did you not see how much there was?! And we didn’t even see it all!!
Where r u guys located? I need the vents clean!!
At this point, I doubt the lints ever get fire as I am told...
I bet the drier felt amazing after that
Dryer sheets exacerbate the problem. Stop using dryer sheets
Their power bill must have been huge. Hours and hours and the clothes are still wet. lol 😂
Bonus is, there’s enough skin cells here to make a new human 😂

Wonder how many dryers he's burned up
OMG so satisfying to watch 100/100
How the house didn’t burn down is a miracle!!!!😮
If dryers ate taco bell

Oh yay they found grandma
crazy that all that dust is fluff and a mixture of other stuff that’s been on people clothes and then into there since the 70’s
Oh my goodness!!😮
That’s a fire waiting to happen
Makes me want to sneeze just looking at that.
So satisfying.
What do you wear for a nose mask?? I knew someone way back worked with cutting/tearing brand new fabric and they were requiredto wear big masks
Very impressive!!
It’s amazing people just don’t know what to do with the stuff they own
Since the 70s? So you were cleaning Disco-Dust, so to speak.
🪩💿
What kind of vacuum are you working with that it doesn't fill up in 20 minutes?
Could this cause the heater to not work in your dryer?
And I start to get worried after six months of not cleaning mine. Smh
Do you use the Nikro vac?
That's crazy!
Not cleaned aince the 70's. Same machine for 50 years. Cant be
I'm self-conscious about my dryer vent now
As you should be if you haven’t keep up with regular maintenance
What vacuum do you use?
My landlord does clean the lent out in my apartment complex laundry room. Not the lent catcher, nor the vents. Their so lazy . I have reported it, but nothing gets done.
Holding up the house too😊
What do you do with the lint??
He sells it as cotton candy
@@DaDaDo661how much 😂
Why was the same clip played twice?
Like the septic tanks people just think you hook it up and forget it. My dad taught me well clean vents and septic conditions!!!
How often for septic?
@@gtarules1 depends on use. Recommend every 3 years if on own septic
Was the house abandoned?
How were they able to get their clothes dry?
What's a dryer vent?
how the hell did this not catch fire yet LOL?

My nose itches just looking at that
Homie got more tremors than an earthquake

How many pounds of lint?
I am surprised that it did not catch fire 🤔
What you mean that's so safe 😅
Im surprised that the house hasn't burnt down because of all of that lint and gunk
Miracle, there wasn't a fire
Wonder it didn't turn into a 5 alarm fire
Some of that lint is almost as old as me….and that’s OLD!! 😳
It’s older than me for sure.
If that doesnt catch fire nothing will.
Why am I thinking of Miralax? Bahahahhhahhhahhhaha!!!!!!
You should really switch to decaf
goated
Me after I’ve had my morning coffee
Omg that is the age of my grandfather house help
Did you find Waldo?
Lol
It probably took 2 days to dry a t-shirt 😂😂😂😂
😮
The lint is as old as my dad
Makes me glad that my drier vents out a panel in my basement window....
Fire hazard...I was a Property manager at an elite condominium complex and some homeowners would complain..about having it cleaned..ugggg
Dang, the lint is older than I am.😂
Use a respirator
forbidden dragons’ beard
I’m surprised that didn’t cause a fire
The clothes would never dry with that.
TH-cam fan , how much does dryer vent cleaning is ? Only one dryer on a first floor
I think the companies I called are trying to overcharge
We personally charge a flat rate of $175
My computer💀💀
Where do you dump out so much lint
You can use it to start fires.. camping, fireplaces, stoves, etc. we save all of ours because we have a case iron stove that heats the entire house and the lint ALWAYS makes it easier to get the fire lighted and going and stay lit.
That looks like my sisters laundry room. So gross. 😂
It looks more like a vent to a septic tank then a dryer vent 💀
