I vividly remember when people were theory crafting for Rise of the Lich King and everyone rated the druid hero the lowest because it was the only hero that wasn't an insane win condition. Then it came out and it was the best hero card in the game statistically. Just because druid would play theirs first. They used to clearly have this philosophy of ''Okay druid gets loads of mana and card draw and armor so it's gonna get worse cards than everyone to compensate'' which went out the window at some point and they started getting some of the best cards in the game because why not.
I'm in the same book as you with Jungle Giants. There is no way that it won't get broken at some point, especially with how unfathomably powerful the quest reward actually is. The deck might hit a critical mass eventually. This is not me coping while I have a golden version of this. Nope. Totally not me.
I run toyrantus in my reno deck lol, obviously will get replaced at some point but I actually think its good value and another body to spend all my ramped mana on
fandral was kinda broken lol. every choose-1 card was extremely high value when played with fandral, even jade idol was good with it. Don't forget when sintolol stole a fandral and nourished. Huge play
Also sheldras deserves to be in duskfallen tier. Card was severely overrated just to not be played anywhere. Compared to Cenarius, goru and elise which did actually see play in the meta, sheldras is way worse
Gonk can allow for some silly OTKs, which should be much easier to pull of since his release with Alignment and Guff. You need to copy him, but druid has 2 different spells for that too. I’m not saying he is good by any means...
Scratch the "should be easier"-my list was good enough for top 200 legend a few years abck and since then there have been faster versions with even harder draw that have hit legend nr.1. Dont ask me how to rate him though, its all or nothing with him.
Freya was a key part of combo owl druid in standard cause you would get either 1/1 copy of it or use it to copy your 1/1 owl and/or eonar you got off Dorian
Hadronox is still very much playable in wild to this day. I have a 40 highlander list focusing on Stormbringer and he is doing really well in the list. Sure it’s not a meta list, but it’s doing good and getting to legend with is quite plausible, even with an autoconcede to Quest Warlocks.
@@FlareIsGone Only bc no-one refined a list for it and no one really plays the archetype. Just bc something isn't played doesn't necessarily means it's bad. Pretty sure if I'd use some tracking program my list's winrate hit t4/5 easily.
The best list i can think of with hadronox would be a marauder/oaken/vargoth with Unkilliax, upcoming Hydration station and defensive cards and a finisher. It'd be viable if Oaken was drawn! And ramped early enough to get Zilliax down and stabilise.
Hey Flare, you always give your opinions on what cards are good and which ones suck but... Have you ever considered doing a powerpoint on cards *you* would change, and how you'd change them?
And also, you put elise in bad, a card that can copy all your best cards and give you insane resource. I mean, your tierlist its not bad in a big picture, but u didnt play enought druid in wild to recognice some good specific things. At least thats how it seems so. But overall u make good decisions
I would, as always, like to object to your treatment of duskfallen aviana. If you use sheriff battlebrim to open the jail, you have a whole 3 potential free cards! That’s broken!
Crazy thought but does hadronox come back in wild with unkilliax spam? Can run Deathrattle location with the 1/5 and keep resummoning board of unkilliaxes
I must disagree with your placement of Shan'do Wildclaw. Yeah, she's bad, yeah she never saw any play, but her effect is okay. A 3 mana 3/3 that buffs your whole deck by +1/+1 doesn't belong in the same tier as Gonk, that's too harsh.
Druid has a lot of garbage legendaries, but the ones that are good are so good they broke the game in half. I think that can be said about any class, but druid is special. Becausevof all the ramp.
greybough is solid. problem is that it costs 5 mana and you're already a bit dead/being controlled at that point. definitely has potential but not crazy good or anything
You're right, Cenarius was always too slow and lacking impact on the board state versus other things you could do. Cenarius was never viable. I haved played constantly since Beta testing, and I never saw Cenarius be an actual competitive deck card.
I appreciate your effort to blurry the the thumbnail to not spoil the resukts, but I am so far down the druid rabbit hole I recognize all of tbem lol
hahaha
Poor man, doesn't have any salvation
Duskfallen Aviana of course was the legendary I opened during the expansion.
Sameeeee, after another 30 packs I got Glinda Crowskin though so I forgive witchwood slightly
was mine too. played in a casual match once and opponent played a 0 mana malygos (i definitely did not dust the card immediately afterwards)
I opened afk as my first this season....

hadox defenders rise up WAIT HIS NAME IS NADOX WTF MY LIFE IS A LIE
Cenarius was played in standard during Saviors of Uldum with the quest quite a bit

no respect for my boy gonk
Graybough was also really good in deathrattle Elise for duels before dragon Druid killed the mode
Guff runetotem was played in a deck where you just buff the trogg that summoned a copy of itself before it was nerfed
Fendral was in every Druid deck back in the days. You pretty much used to win the game if he survived for a turn and you played Nourish
Huge play
Goru saw meta play in darkmoon races when arbor up came out
Also elise saw a ton of meta play in uldum in quest druid
Also sheldras deserves to be in duskfallen tier. Card was severely overrated just to not be played anywhere. Compared to Cenarius, goru and elise which did actually see play in the meta, sheldras is way worse
ive seen Toyrantus ran inside the ETC in some wild Reno decks. I dont know why they put it there, but they do.
I WANT CHOOSE ONE SUPPORT!!!!!!!!

This video is really great, ty for making this
I’d put Cenarius in decent. It’s not broken, but it saw play in lower power level formats, which is more than any of it’s other tier members.
Freya was a key part of combo owl druid in standard cause you would get either 1/1 copy of it or use it to copy your 1/1 owl and/or eonar you got off Dorian
Do this for the other classes, please!
bro did not listen to the first 30 seconds
there was healing touch and ancient of lore in classic for healing but yeah not much healing lol
Hadronox is still very much playable in wild to this day.

playable implies at least a t4/5 deck hadronox druid is not even close to t4/5

I did a whole series on changing cards from old expansions for a few months
@@FlareIsGone You're right, I have seen it around, I don't think I pay much attention though
Its funny cuz you put Ysiel(a combo enabler with practical use) same tier with Sheldras(a troll card) :)))
And also, you put elise in bad, a card that can copy all your best cards and give you insane resource. I mean, your tierlist its not bad in a big picture, but u didnt play enought druid in wild to recognice some good specific things. At least thats how it seems so. But overall u make good decisions
Gonk OTK was so fun when the effect Stacked
actually i run gonk in my reno cthun questline druid excavate deck in my etc so it goes in S
Elise saw play while in standard
guff best legend in the game
elder nadox was robbed ngl, his archetype got fumbled so bad, he himself is actually phenomenal
Elise deserves to be in “has potential”. I don’t understand how you could call her effect bad. Clunky, sure. But does have a use.
I would, as always, like to object to your treatment of duskfallen aviana. If you use sheriff battlebrim to open the jail, you have a whole 3 potential free cards! That’s broken!
As far as healing druid is concerned, wouldn't funnel cake from the FoL mini set count ?
I guess so, but that also requires you to *run* lucent bark lmfao
Brother, we will not tolerante the Omu disrespect
Hedra the heretic is a good card realese in the wrong class but no one is ready for that talk
dudee this legit made my day better, thank you so much
Justice for wardruid loti
FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK DON'T BLAME ME BLAME THE HEARTHSTONE WEBSITE ITS NOT ON THERE WHEN I WENT TO DOWNLOAD THEM ALL FOR THE VIDEO MY STREAM CAN VOUCH
@@FlareIsGoneWhere would you put it though
@@ProfX501 it sucked so, bad.
play a game with me, whenever he says "ever printed" we say "bogos binted"
I think Roffle tried out Lora in TC and it was terrible.
im in love with your videos
Kun is a combo piece, Kun alone is garbage
Eonar is directly better than Kun in every possible way except like idk she dies to infused clean the streets and Kun doesn't (super matters)
Crazy thought but does hadronox come back in wild with unkilliax spam? Can run Deathrattle location with the 1/5 and keep resummoning board of unkilliaxes
no you just play the new spell, I'm pretty sure its worthwhile playing as a side grade to pure dragon druid / reno druid
14:30 Tree of Life
Between rise of shadows and Titans is what I said...
Oh! Sorry, I was on the train and missed that part.
I must disagree with your placement of Shan'do Wildclaw. Yeah, she's bad, yeah she never saw any play, but her effect is okay. A 3 mana 3/3 that buffs your whole deck by +1/+1 doesn't belong in the same tier as Gonk, that's too harsh.
gonk has more actual viability than that worthless card you're right
Druid has a lot of garbage legendaries, but the ones that are good are so good they broke the game in half. I think that can be said about any class, but druid is special. Becausevof all the ramp.
Cool, now shaman 👺
I literally said I did shaman 30 seconds in man
The only one I really disagree with is Greybough. I think your overrating it
on my life greybough is broken in wild (theres just no where to play it :( )
greybough is solid. problem is that it costs 5 mana and you're already a bit dead/being controlled at that point. definitely has potential but not crazy good or anything

BROOO FINALLYYYYY
Wrong on cenarius. It saw meta play
I used to play him even during Naxx.
on my life I've never seen that card actually played a single time and I went back to look at classic decks and it wasn't anywhere (I started in 2017)
