I gave up TV years ago. I love the honesty and helpful nature of TH-cam content creators and people commenting on their experience. I went from a struggling frustrated gardener 5 years ago to now have friends, family and neighbors come ask for my gardening input. Thank you to both sides for creating a wonder way to make us all better in the garden.
I really like your show. ❤ You two are so funny together and I enjoy how sometimes you learn as you go, the same as we do. Flower time with you is cozy, warm and comfortable. Like spending time with friends. I wouldn't change a thing! 🌼 🌸 🌻 🌹 💕 🤗
Like many other gardeners who commented below, I stopped watching all TV years ago. I am a well seasoned vegetable gardener and an amateur flower gardener who’s learned a lot from TH-cam gardening channels. I do not want to watch all the disgusting adds, so we pay a monthly stipend to TH-cam. I’ve put into practice what I’ve learned from your videos (and others as well). Laura from Garden Answer and your channel are two of my favorites. I finally can get my hanging baskets to look beautiful from spring to first frost and that’s thanks to you and Proven Winners ❤. By the way I really enjoyed the seed starting shows you did last spring. I start many of my flowers from seed and love to watch how others accomplish the tasks.
Corey, this is our garden club. 🙌🏻 I belong to a small one whereI live and it’s lots of fun. (And not just because we drink wine 😅) You’re right about having interest in other’s experiences with where they live compared to one’s own area. I sincerely hope you don’t change anything about your channel, unless it’s to help you with making your videos, of course 😊 You’re content covers a large area remarkably, considering you’re zone. We appreciate that you do take the time to find info to answer a question regardless of where the asker is from. Thank you so much for all you do 😊 P.S. this is my third year with you. I am certain my gardens owe you many thanks!
I don't watch regular television, just youtube! Love your show. You seem to keep it real and I like that a lot. No big production or scripts, you just hop on when you can.
I enjoy watching your channel because of the flexibility to watch when I have the time & of course what I learn from you. Thanks alot. TV is scheduled time slots with no comment sections for further learning. I cancelled my TV cable over 2 yrs ago as I was not watching.
Northwest Michigan, zone 5/6, my macrophyla hydrangeas tolerate our cold BUT I wrap mine in 4’ x 10’ fencing to keep the deer from eating the buds! The 10’ size is necessary to fit around my good-sized shrubs. Thankful for the cherry farmer who gave me all this fencing!
I ordered bulbs online (tulips, daffodils, and hyacinths) because the big box stores had nooo bulbs remaining, except amaryllis. I'm so excited to try planting bulbs in containers. I'll multitask my containers: remove the spent annuals, plant bulbs, grow bulbs, then plant annuals again once the bulbs are done doing their thing. I'll have flowers before anyone else in the apartment complex. 😊 Thanks for the great idea 😁
I love Gardeners World on BBC/amazon prime. The way they garden in real time is great. I’m not exactly the same zone as Monty Don but his advice is great for all gardeners I think. I’ve even gone back and watched previous seasons.
I’m doing an experiment this winter. Digging and storing half of my cannas and elephant ears The other half.. leaving them in the ground and covering with thick straw and leaf mulch. We will see next spring. They are close to the house. Zone 6b
I would be open to watching a gardening TV show. Most of what I watch on TH-cam is gardening related. Some of my faves are Hooked and Rooted, Jes, Cranery Gardens, Grow For Me, PW Gardening Simplified, yours of course! So many more I watch, those are what I can remember off hand.
One of my favorite is John Lord's Secret Garden, because he is simply funny as heck, and the trees shrubs/perennials he uses are very interesting. When you go back to visit Ireland, please visit and do a video there!
Oh yes! He's one I follow. I've learned so much from the Irish and the Brits. They have a lot that I can't grow in my zone, but I adapt what I can. Great suggestion.
Corey, don't fix what isn't broken, lol. Your format and content are perfect. As for me (a home gardener), I want 'insider knowledge,' I want to know what greenhouses know so I can pick plants that work well in my zone and how to make them thrive. I enjoy your channel the most, but also watch Sharkey's Greenhouse and Petiti Gardens. For houseplants I watch Sheffield Made Plants.
The UK and Ireland have many gardening shows. There is a gardening competition show called "Garden Rescue" where two garden designers compete to get the job and then both work together to finish the work. Of course the really popular" Gardeners World" is a staple but there are also regional shows like "the beech Grove garden".
I would watch grdening shows if they were on tv, but I'm happy to watch you , Garden answer, Garden crossings and about a dozen or so others across the country. In Great Britain they seem to have several gardening ahows and of course Monty Don. One really great point about you tube presenters is we can ask questions and get honest answers. Thank you
My first gardening experiences were down south and my family is still there so i love to keep learning about their zones. But i love my cold Michigan garden 😂 i dont have to water nonstop and i dont have to deal with many bugs. And i get to share my annuals because they are perrenials for them. I would watch a show on TV or TH-cam, but im more interested in 4 season design at this point
Garden programs on tv is how I got started gardening 30 years ago. I learned ed how to design my beds and how to make the plantings cohesive. PBS had several gardening shows around the Boston area. I love my y rube and am still learning but now about specific plants and propagation
Never could figure out why there aren’t more gardening shows! I do watch Monty Don’s shows on tv. TUBI which is a free service plays them. My favorite is Gardeners World. He is a gardener in England.
I would love to see more long blooming perennials and maybe some all year round interest plants. Maybe something not so common. I recently planted a white fringe tree that I saw on a video from IL. I've never seen it in person so I guess it will be a surprise. I hope a pleasant one!
Thanks Corey, appreciate your response. I was diligent with controlling insects and I was 95% successful end of season 😅 No powdery mildew to my knowledge. Everything has pretty much gone to sleep for winter. I pruned a lot of my raspberries this week. Holy I can’t believe how fast the seasons are passing and we haven’t even had snow yet! 😮
Thank you for answering my question! And all the others, too. Love your channel. I have abandoned tv for youtube. My favourites are the Irish and the Brits because I find they are more easy-going in their aporoach to gardening. Or maybe they're more secure? Anyway, I always enjoy your content because I have become a "let's try this" type of gardener. And forced bulbs are my thing this year. Plus I planted 250 in the garden. Looking forward to your show of flowers AND mine. I agree with Liam's way of choosing 😁 Montreal QC zone 6a/b
British television has many more gardening shows than American. I'm addicted to Gardener's World with Monty Don which I can stream on BritBox. There's a whole channel dedicated to Monty's gardening shows on Prime too.
BBC's Gardener's World has been running forever. It's not my garden zone, but it doesn't matter. I still learn things. I love it.
Love your channel. Thanks for leading us to the new gardener channel last week.

I don't watch TV. I do watch garden content on TH-cam. Thank you for the videos you do. There is always something to learn about gardening.
Thank goodness for you and all the others on You Tube! Television is gone a very different direction! I so appreciate you sharing with us!

Same! Best source I’ve found and I don’t miss tv at all to be honest 😊

We don’t watch TV much and most of the gardening shows we do watch are on TH-cam. It’s fun to see the comments and be able to control the play speed.

John is great and so funny as well. I've visited and he is just as nice in person and the garden is really beautiful. A combined video would be 😃

I don't watch TV anymore. I love youtube and Tiktok for things I enjoy learning like gardening and cooking.

The Fringe Tree is gorgeous… doesn’t flower for too long, but a stunner.

There is a gardening show on PBS. Saturday mornings.
J Schwanke’s Life in Bloom. It’s a fun show!!

Thank you for mentioning my comments on your canna video. You had a hard time pronouncing the last name. Jaramillo it’s , ha-ra-mi-yo. Thank you.
Thanks for the update !! Happy Thanksgiving
