Lol ! Yes - I do that exact same thing right before I go on vacation - 👍ha ha so funny - nice to know I am not alone in the ‘ should be packing’ but … let’s do this project first 😀lol 😊
Love this upbeat, informative video. Impressed with your balance putting on the boots. Haha! It's been many years since I could do it! Have fun at Melissa's!
I have been watching you all day while I list and photograph. Your voice is so calming and I love your work ethic. You are a true inspiration to us ebay sellers.
Hi Karen! I LOVE your channel, also LOVE Mellissa and Bare! You have such good info, and present it so well. I wanted to say that regarding your advice to leave the frames behind, and just take the prints... truth be told, sometimes the frames can be worth way more than the print, picture or painting. I have seen situations where the print is worth like $5.00 but the frame is worth $500.00! So keep an eye out for vintage frames! There is some money to be had! Dr. Lori has some good advice for frames and EVERYTHING antique and vintage, she is amazing!!! Take care.
I too find myself doing the weirdest things when I'm supposed to be packing for vacation. The night before leaving this year, for our 2 week-vacation, I decided to caulk the tub, which requires removing the old caulk first, not an easy or quick job. We wound up leaving 3 hours later than we wanted to because I was still packing. Anyway, you've got great style and I enjoy your channel and learn quite a bit from you. Also, I love your daughter and son-in-law -- now I know where Melissa gets her calm demeanor and soft-spoken voice. Keep the great content coming!
Re-caulking the tub! That beats my cleaning the tile (on the wall) behind the toilets. Dripping in sweat, I once asked my husband how hard it would be to dismantle the toilet to move it out of the way so I could be certain I reached all nooks and crannies. Husband's reaction dismissed that as a potiential from my "to-do" list, pronto! But you actually re-caulked. You win! 😆
I love that you did a Vintage video! I love Vintage trinkets! I do Vintage Goodwill hauls and I always find crazy little oddball items. Thank you so much - I look forward to your next video!
I STILL have those moccasins ! Loved them when I was in school, love them now. Mine were not Minnetonka - I just remember getting them at the local Mall. Great video - loveeeee your hauls~!!
So fun to watch your videos. You find such amazing things down there in PA! Wishing you a fantastic relaxing vacation..looking forward to your video you mentioned. Take care, Elizabeth from NH
Love your videos, just started watching in the last couple of days. I do research for a living (architectural historian) but am always curious. If you haven't found it already, Florence Kroger, the kitty print, was an artist in CA and did other types of prints that she was well known for. I found some others of her work on Ebay and Bungalowblondie2 had a short bio on Florence. Thanks for the interesting things, my favorite so far was your inventory basement, wow! On a side note, I love your hair color! I just started coloring mine again (I'm 57 and went almost completely gray by 40) and yours is absolutely stunning. A new subscriber!
I'm Arianna a new subscriber. I also thrift to resell. I will have to look in the boot section when I thrift again, your boot find was amazing. I would like a pair for myself. Thanks for the excellent video.
I've watched several of your video and love them so much and seeing your unique finds. Finally subscribed. Don't know why I haven't before. Enjoy your vacation.
Hi Karen, I do the same thing before packing LOL! Have fun with Mellissa and Bare.I know that Mellissa always looks forward to your trips to visit! All my best, Pat
I love those knives you found in the wooden box - you could touch up the spots with old English and it would look beautiful 😀 Another great video- love your content, presentation and personality
I'm also a new subscriber. I believe I found you through Ann Eckhart's mention of your channel. I've watched three or four of your videos and I can't get enough. I love your presentations. I'm a few years older than you, and it's so wonderful to watch someone who uses words that are more than two syllables long, who doesn't think everything is "cute" or that things made in 1990 are antique. I am learning so much from you. Thank you for so generously sharing your knowledge. You mentioned Instagram; do you also have a seller Facebook page?
Min. 4:30 there once was a glass insert and used for flours. Mostly 2 alike on the dining table. The imprints are probably for UK silver as they marked he maker, city and year (years are in letters).
'Weak sales force blanket-maker Biederlack to close Cumberland, MD operations" It is pronounced Beader-Lack. They had a plant in Cumberland, MD So yeah unfortunately they are closed in the USA. From Wiki - Biederlack was founded in 1887 by Ignaz Hermann Biederlack in Greven, Germany, grandfather of Robert and Hans-Felix Biederlack. But the history dates back to 1532, when Heinrich settled along the River Ems and opened a merchant trading business. He became known as Heinrich Biederlack, "Heinrich by the Lake." I love your videos! I also sell vintage clothes on Ebay and also live in PA. Thank you :)
Vintage BlueRidge USA China pieces from the 1930s and 1940s had factory hand-painted jugs, made in Irwin Tennessee, with faces, that were called "Betsy" jugs. You can also find vintage jugs with men faces called "Toby" or "Tobey" (not sure how to spell) jugs.

I have followed your daughter Melissa and watched you both doing a video while frosting cookies. I have been a fan of yours since then. Thank you for sharing and have a wonderful vacation.

Hi. I just discovered your channel. I really enjoyed it. Loved the sheets. I’m always on the lookout, but never any luck. I did want to mention something about the Faribo blanket.
