Shohreh's voice is so genuinly unique it made me look for her biography, she's outstanding. And Lee seems so invested in the Bassim's character which is great to see
she sounds like a chain smoker imo
Roshans voice is soo sick I love it
Shohreh Aghdashloo hyped me up for the story. I hope she will be nominated for best actress at the Game Awards. Also Lee Majdoub: this game is so personal to them and their culture, respect
Lee Majdoub isn't a they/them man, what's wrong with you people, making everybody weird like you.
8:35, je clearly says he's a man
@@mr.noname5731They/them isn’t just for people who choose those pronouns, they were originally (and still are) used as singular pronouns. I use them to refer to people who aren’t directly involved in a conversation, even if they (pun intended) use he or she or whatever pronouns
@SpinningTurtle66 We don't say "They were doing it" , when the guys sitting right in front of you. It is when a person is unknown or with someone else, seriously.
@@mr.noname5731 There’s nothing wrong with that sentence. The only time it’s incorrect to use they is when you are referring to the person you are talking to, but to a third person it’s perfectly acceptable.
Shohreh has one of the most iconic voices in the entertainment biz, looking forward to her being a big new addition to the franchise
It sounds horrible.
@@2genders-tk2ue Glad I ain't the only who finds her voice utterly annoying.
sounds like an chain smoking alcoholic. very very iconic. not .
@@TheMykHyn Just like your mom?
@@TheMykHyn it is iconic because you can instantly tell who’s talking if you hear the voice. People can mock her all they want but now they’ll have her voice burnt into their minds
I feel like Lee took a page out of Roger Craig Smiths book when he was voicing Ezio and did a similar thing with making his voice evolve through age and experience.
I love how he mentioned he was a fan and played the games from the beginning because that might be what influenced his ideas to add to the character.
He didn't take jo page out of no book, it's just that Basim had a different actor in Valhalla.
Okay my bad, his voice does change friend
The chemistry is off the charts with this team I'm literally staring at the game clock counting down the minutes tomorrow night we make new memories find happiness enjoyment in fulfillment from a brand new title in our most precious and treasured franchise Assassin's Creed. Sarah the director is really impressive with how she maneuvered this entire project and also how she was able to have a vision before any work was done and then execute it perfectly the passion has me sold alone but then the developer talking about how he worked on the stealth mechanics look like he put a lot of work in time into it and I'm excited
Hell yea
I hadn't heard of Shohreh before this game, but her voice is sooo unique it's amazing
But she is in Valhalla also ?
You need to watch "The Expanse". Her performance is ridiculously good
@@MisterK9739i watched her on The Punisher
Yes, Roshan is in the last chapter of Eivor in AC VALHALLA
@@MisterK9739 need to check this out, thanks for the suggestion! ;)
Lee Majdoub reminds me of Roger Craig Smith when he played Ezio, Roger would lower is voice when Ezio got older in AC2 I thought that was really cool it shows the love and connection for the character they play
And when Roger voiced Ezio in Revelations he really made him believable that he's old but still has that charisma
Roshan is my no.1 favourite female character in assassin creed period. Not even Cassandra or evie or amunet
So hyped. This is a game filled with love and good intention!
Roshans voice carried the game
I loved this game. The setting was awesome, the characters were very cool. Basim is extremely likeable. It was a nice coming of age story of sorts. Was also nice to get a proper AC game, it's been a while.
I love Shohreh, makes me want to watch the expane again.
Humility, wisdom, selflessness, benevolence, fearless, strength, self-sacrifice, determination, and virtuousness.
That is the symbolism of Shohreh Aghdashloo's voice as Roshan.
Awh this is wholesome. Haven't been excited for an AC game in a while, I'm really into the original AC games from AC1, through Ezio to Black Flag. So this is going to be quite the ride.
Assassin's Creed Mirage has been my favourite! Thank you Ubisoft!
What a great interview and a great cast with so much knowledge and adding their personal experiences into the thread of the story of this amazing franchise. I can’t wait to play this game!
I love how passionate Shohreh is about this game. I have seen a lot of interviews where big actors play the roles and as much as they try to spruke it they just don't seem overly fussed about the whole thing, ore like its just another paycheck but for her I feel she genuinely connected with her character and is truly proud of her work. It makes playing the game so much more rewarding.
So glad they’re hypin this game in the right way showing us how meaningful this game is to their studio
Still remember hearing Aghdashloo's voice for the first time in Mass Effect 2.
Really???mass effec
Omg, her voice is so deep
First time heard Shohreh as Roshan I almost fell from my chair with how unbelievable it sounds.
Shohreh's voice is orgasmic dude. Been in love ever since Mass Effect.
Shohreh is amazing. Can’t wait to watch her portray one of the greatest characters in the wheel of time 😍
OMG he's my fav actor from Sonic Movie. The guy who plays agent stone lol
He is too thought he looked familiar
I was surprised when I found out he was playing basim
wow so that’s her real voice???? i had no idea, amazing.
Lee Majdoub hyped me up for Assassin's Creed Mirage. I am a huge fan of Sonic and Assassin's Creed so it is the best of both worlds to me. When I saw on Twitter that Lee was going to be Basim, I got super excited. I love him as Agent Stone in the Sonic movies. I knew I am going to love him as Basim. I am not wrong. Lee does an amazing job as Basim. I hope he and Roshan's voice actress gets nominated. They deserve it for their hard work. I am definitely enjoying the game and the characters so far as I stream the game. The voice actors does a beautiful job and the story is very beautiful. I can't wait to continue streaming it and to continue seeing the growth of Basim.
I have good feeling about this game, AC is always about experiences, story, not grinding for stuffs.
As a white man I'm very much enjoying learning about Baghdad and it's history, also enjoying the game too.
I'm from baghdad and I'm playing the game in Arabic without subtitles. The voice acting is really good.
Alright, this absolutely has me more hyped up for this game. Story seems really cool.
Shohreh's voice is so unique in the entire world that when watching the trailer, I was like, it's impossible if it's someone else! and here we are :)
Really surprised how deep this conversation got about identity. Very cool
Shohreh Aghdashloo is amasing! Great inspiration, that you can look so cool and be so cool in older age
Shohreh Aghdashloo, Lee Majdoub and Ubisoft Bordeaux did an amazing job with Assassin's Creed Mirage
Is there the Arabic voice actors video? They were amazing, the best Voice Act I have experienced in a video game for arabic language.
Sara's eyes are so beautifully captivating
her voice is so distinct!
Shohreh’s voice is really unique because I have never heard of any woman with a voice like that
Shoreh has the most iconically beautiful raspy voice. Like a longtime smoker that used to sing.
I don't know if Shohreh Aghdashloo will ever read this comment, but the fact that she is on board - in this game, playing a main character and guiding us. That's what sold me.
I knew her from The Expanse, and I really hope that she enjoyed her role as a politician, as a diplomat, playing that, because I really enjoyed not only hearing - of course - her unique voice, but also seeing her acting and bringing in her emotions, her body language. Facial expressions, gestures - the whole package. In my humble opinion, she really fit those two roles well. I appreciated all the time I got to see or hear her act.
I can't wait to see, and hear Basim again! not "the bad guy", but the brother of Odin, the human being, the father and husband who fought for his son and wife, the tragedy of his character and destiny. After I finished Valhalla and Mirage I wanted so much a later confrontation between Eivor/Odin and Basim in a later life, to reunite themselves after Eivor exile and solve the past.
The expanse (show) star is here lets gooo
Her and William Defoe would be best friends lmao
Shohre being chosen as Roshan was the best decision AC could make.
Lee is hilarious in Sonic, I hope he get more parts.
Uncle Dom plays Basim?! No wonder he's so badass!
Shohreh made Roshan so fun to listen to and watch 🥰
Shohreh voice 🔥
Good luck guys! Love to see Shohreh 😊 Selam ✌️
Basim looks more like prince of Persia character to me🤷🏾♂️
Funny enough the very first Assassin's Creed game was supposed to be a Prince of Persia game but became so unique on its own that it became a whole new game: Assassin's Creed 😉
@@mike_gusta2994 yeah. I knew about that. It’s just that I don’t see Ubisoft showing this amount of love for prince of Persia and it pains me
I love the actor keep up the great work and ❤
It's always the voices that bring life into the characters and the story.
I want that woman's voice ♥️.
Shohreh's voice is a treasure.🔥🔥🔥🔥
Damn! I just now found out Shohreh Aghdashloo was the main villain in, "Renfield".
Ezio’s voice evolved as well 👌🏻✅
Tomorrow i will play this game hell yeah!
i buy Mirage just for the voice of Roshan
the best assassins creed game by far!!!
AC Mirage Shined because of the perfect 👌 cast it had. 👏👏👏👏
Lee Majdoub did awesome as basim and in the sonic movies as agent stone
I'm so glad Lee is gonna invoke Roger Craig Smith and also change his voice to reflect Basim's evolution.
I hope his end voice is close enough to the other who voiced Basim but still different to tell there's a obvious time gap
Shohre aghdashloo👍👍
Woohoo❤
bruh roshan voice is so scary I love it
Roshan:🤖🤖
prefect
Shohreh Aghdashloo ♥
I hope Mirage becomes Origins successor.
Wonderful cast. The game looks good and I hope it does well. We really need AC to go back to being narrative-driven and action oriented as a franchise. The RPG genre just doesn't work with this franchise.
Her voice its scary
It's amazing I'm getting chills from Shohreh's voice already and I yet to play the game.
Agent stone rocking the pink hair.
A big part of what invited me in to wanting to play Mirage was hearing Shohreh's amazing voice for the first time, and realising she was the one in command here, esp. given the game's location. I like to see women who lead in stories yet retain their femininity (Captain Janeway is my fav Star Trek captain for example), and this leads on to my next point.
Most AC fans are lovers of history. The latest AC games have been used as historical teaching tools in schools. But women are almost invisible compared to men in the historical record. If they are mentioned they are like footnotes to the men they were supposed to serve and bear heirs for. When they had to be written about because they were ruling queens they were masculinised (take Elizabeth I for example) and made into honourary men. After all, it was men who wrote the chronicles, and in Europe these were mostly priest men, men who sidelined women.
It is only in the last hundred years that women have been *allowed* to go up to university and study to become historians. Many of these women historians comb through the archives and glean the stories of women in history, and these are the books they write that I like to get out from my library and read. And now we have (and have had) an AC story that has a charismatic female mentor for our Basim. And a Middle Eastern one to boot.
Thank you Ubi for making Mirage, and thank you Shohreh for bringing such a part of yourself into our latest AC hi/story. Bless you all🙏🏽
Shohreh has THE VOICE! Hot damn!
Shohreh was 71 years old but she looks no older than 51 - 53 years old.
Her voice damn, isnt she also in arcane Grayson
Not to be disrespectful, but why didn’t they recast roshan? as it’s a prequel set 20 years before Valhalla. Her voice sounds exactly the same in Valhalla.
Shore have LEGANDARY VOICE PERSIAN ACTOR LOVE U SHOHRE ❤امیدوارم بازم تو بازی های خوب ببینیمت
I need to buy Mirage. I'm playing Valhalla right now and my experience with Roshan is unforgettable. Shoreh you have captured my ears! Also in Valhalla, Basim pisses me off. So I wanna know why he did and does what he does. Know the man and walk his shoes.
I can guarantee you'll love it!
Lee kinda sounds like Jonathan Roumie of The Chosen
Imagine being intimate with Shohreh 😬
Basim's efforts (climbing sounds.etc) change throughout the game?
Why they didn't use the actual voice accent of this guy in Basim
Yess
that lady’s voice is fascinating wow.
Roshan's voice is heavier than my weight. Damn !!
oh he's definitely a gaymer alright
Lol
You’re not actually wrong.
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥Shohreh🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Shohreh has that smoky bourbon-soaked sultry voice that commands...
Didnt recognized agent stone as basim
Great game
I still cannot figure out why and how Ubisoft deny history like they do.
Assassins are from Iran, ancient Persia, from Alborz and Alamut Mountains.
Historically there shouldn’t be any assassins creeds past the first. Since they would’ve canonically disbanded after.
Why is Chrisjen Avasarala in Assassin's Creed? Is the game going to space now?
A sim genuinely smashed it. A bit disappointed with the overwhelming number of Iranian actors that couldn’t speak Arabic on set. Baghdad wasn’t like that. If you guys went all out in the Arabic translations bit then might as well invest in actors that use proper Arabic to English pronunciation
Wait a minute, why does Lee looks like Basim himself when he's the voice actor? Was Basim's face modelled after him?
Yes of course,Basim’s face modelled after Lee
@@AfandiMusic2033but not his accent - poor Ubisoft 😂
Roshan :shohre Jan dames garm eyval I'm pre order deluxe on PS5 WAIT FOR SEEIN SHOHRE پرچم بالاست
ROSHAN ❤❤
UBISOFT REMAKE THE EZIO TRILOGY PLEASE
This will be the best AC in a long time.
bar's pretty low
I really wish we can have a mod that replaces roshan with Batman. They sound pretty much the same
2 Face 😂
