In 1996 I was caught entering the USA and I was sent back to México, I reentered the USA and after living in Oregon for about 6 months I was wrongfully charged for robbery and assault, a crime I did not commit, but the lawyer I was assigned told me that under measure 11 ( a law just passed at the time I was looking to get about 20 years if I went to trial so my best bet was to plead guilty and got 60 months), I was deported from prison 20 years ago and I would like to apply for a tourist visa. I don’t know if I should try first going to the USA embassy here in Mexico and apply by myself or wait till I hire a lawyer. It’s there any possibility or chance to get a tourist visa even if I am a convicted felon?

I would like to ask too, is it going to be a problem to an illegal immigrant to go back to their home country? Who Live in America, never worked just taking care of her mom and now decides to go back to her origin because her mom will retire now. Thank you so much🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Hi, Thank you for your very informative videos, could you please answer my question: I have a permanent green card. I left USA in match8 2020 when pandemic started and was only able to come back to USA in November 2020 because there were no flights due to pandemic. So It appears like I left USA for more than 6 month. The machine on the boarder criss crossed my green card. The officer asked me some questions but he let me in. Now I’m still in USA but need to visit my relatives(up to 3 month). The question: as the machine on the border has crisscrossed my green card how do I find out if it’s ok? Is my green card still valid? I’m scared to leave USA as I don’t know what to expect when I’m back. I’ve been using my green card all this time as my ID in banks, hotels, so on and it was always ok. Thank you 🙏
