Black Americans are not Africans, so stop this madness.
What is this obsession with attaching Black Americans to Africa and Africans?
This has been by far the biggest west African scam used on Black Americans ever.
Less than 3% of the enslaved Africans were taken to North America and the vast majority were taken throughout the Caribbean islands and Brazil so go convince them that they are nothing more than “Africans” and leave my people alone!!!!
We have no cultural similarities to any west Africans.
On average we look absolutely nothing like west Africans.
On average we are brown skin or lighter, the west Africans are dark skin people on average.
The average heights for a Black American male is between 5”9-5”10 and the average height for a west African male is 5”5-5”6.
We are nothing alike so why the push to force Africa on us? Because we are ethnic group that everyone else want to be.

@loveonmyside2184, Your right my bro. There is a reason for strong headed Igbos. Am Igbo from Nigeria. We as a people was probable the only tribe that was practicing democracy in the whole of Africa. Igbos never in their history have a monarchy and is like that till date. So we are republican by DNA. every Igbo man is master of his destiny. We have chieftain and chiefs but they are just custodian of our culture. and traditions. Community decisions are made by counsel of elders which head of this body is the oldest man in the village, the OKPARA or DIOKPA.
Haiti became the first black nation of freed slaves because majority of slaves in Haiti where from Igbo tribe. Its extremely difficult to control an Igbo man or Woman. Aba women revolt in 1929 against british colonial government over taxation. This revolt ushered in fight for end to colonial rule in Africa.

    • @ogochukwuizu6334
      @ogochukwuizu6334 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +5

And why is that? It was because the yorubas were the last of the major ethnic group brought in large numbers to the new world in the 19th century when slavery was on a serious decline. This was simply as a result of the fall of the oyo empire. They were thus still well versed in their culture and religion. Again after the slave trade, many yorubas were also taken as indentured servants to the new world which continued into the early 20th century. Thus it was easy to see why undiluted Yoruba culture pervaded the New world unlike the cultures of Akan, Igbo, Congo, temne, Wolof etc that were lost in time due to the fact that the slaves were taken to the new world much earlier.

    • @ositamordi9799
      @ositamordi9799 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

Honestly Yoruba should have included but if we consider the time frame of slavery to the Americas, the Yorubas arrived relatively late and the culture survives in places which continued with slavery after the British and later the French abolished it. Thus you can only see such Yoruba features in Spanish or Portuguese speaking countries. In the case of Trinidad, it was also a later development when freed Yoruba slaves moved and introduced their culture in the 1800s.

I sympathize with you but the Igbos were brought to the Virginia colony but even there, they were in the presence of many from Senegambia, which is why you see so many Muslim narratives in the US. The "Bight" slaves, which is inclusive of Igbos were unwelcomed because they were suicidal or would run away. They were a proud people, it is what it is. The Yorubas went mostly to the Spanish colonies, and other parts of the Carribean, which is why the latinos have all of the Nigerian gods. In the US, the remnants that you find the Grisgris, which was worn by Muslim slaves and the hand of Fatima, etched on a tree in Dufauski island South Carolina(the hand with the big blue eye in the middle).

I like that you put “tribes” in columns. The people were not exhausted from field/plantation work as such as most were from ethnic nations which had 1000s of years expertise in agriculture. It was due to the permanent undernourishment, working up to 12-14 hrs daily - the inhuman working conditions. Senegambians, Guinea people were experts in rice cultivation- Igbo (pronounced: “Eebo”): Yam, cocoyam = all edible tuber plants, beans, etc. All those different groups had substantial knowledge of medicinal/ edible plants which helped them to easily identify endogamic American species with the same or similar properties. But the enslaved expertise was way beyond than agricultural knowledge & skills though the first was predominant - altogether nice video

Martyrdome of Bartholomew"" And when you behold Him, fear nothing; but when I make the sign of the cross, so also do ye with your finger seal your faces, and these evil things will flee from you. Then HE SHOWED THEM THE DEMON WHO DWELT IN THE TEMPLE, LIKE AN ETHIOPIAN, BLACK AS SOOT; his face sharp like a dog's, thin-cheeked, with hair down to his feet, eyes like fire, sparks coming out of his mouth; and out of his nostrils came forth smoke like sulphur, with wings spined like a porcupine; and his hands were bound with fiery chains, and he was firmly kept in. And the angel of the Lord said to him: As also the apostle has commanded, I let you go; go where voice of man is not heard, and be there until the great day of judgment. And when he let him go, he flew away, groaning and weeping, and disappeared. And the angel of the Lord went up into heaven in the sight of all. The Book of the Resurrection of Jesus Christ by the Apostle Bartholomew is a Coptic text preserved in only three manuscripts and can be dated to the 5th or 6th century CE. In this text, as is the case in the Questions of Bartholomew, Bartholomew is identified with Nathaniel (John 1:46-52).
Second Book of Adam and Eve: Chapter IV. ADAM SEES THE DEVIL IN HIS TRUE COLORS. THEN GOD ORDERED SATAN TO SHOW HIMSELF TO ADAM plainly, in his own hideous form. 2 But when Adam saw him, he feared, and trembled at the sight of him. 3 AND GOD SAID TO ADAM, 'Look at this devil, and at his hideous look, and know that he it is who made thee fall from brightness into darkness, from peace and rest to toil and misery. 4 AND LOOK O ADAM, AT HIM, WHO SAID OF HIMSELF THAT HE IS GOD! CAN GOD BE BLACK? could God take the form of a woman? Is there any one stronger than God? And can He be overpowered
Extant versions of the Life of Adam and Eve have consequently been used to reconstruct the supposed original, which was probably composed sometime between 20 BC and AD 70, because the apocalyptic portion of the work (chapter 29) seems to imply that the Herodian Temple of Jerusalem was functioning when the book was written

My family's genealogy, as well as oral, written, and documented family history proves that myself, and my family, and the majority of brown 🤎 people that have been misclassified over and over again as black, negro, Afro-American, mulatto, and African-American are in fact Indigenous to America. My family, and I belong to the Creek, and Cherokee tribes. We're American by blood, formed by the Creator from this American dust/clay, not by boat..respectfully. We were the copper colored people here before Columbus or anyone else, and we're not going anywhere. APTTMH.

I’ve read a lot. I’m a Paralegal and doing research is at my fingertips. Don’t talk of lack of knowledge when it comes to me. In Africa, not everyone’s a Hebrew so the indigenous people in the land sold some of the Hebrews. Did you read Deuteronomy 28: 68? What about Genesis 15:13-14? God had already cursed our forefathers what was going to happen to them bcos of their sins but you’re apportioning blame to those who sold them. God is going to punish those who took our ancestors and made them slaves but I never read anywhere in the Bible God is going to those who sold them. I’m not saying i agree to it but since Elohim pronounced it, it was bound to happen. Stop the blame game please.

The slaves in the Trans Atlantic period were Hebrews who migrated to Africa after the fall of Israel by the Romans and also those kicked out of Spain by the Pope and were sold by the indigenous Africans who saw these strangers, even though black skinned as Aliens in their land and sold them to the money hungry Portuguese, and Spanish colonists after getting the approval by the sitting Pope who initially ruled slavery into law thus starting the Slave trade. The Hebrews were skin folk and not kin folk so they had no attachment to the original African settlers. Brazil, the Caribbean and then the U. S was our landing spots. We are Hebrews who were sold FIRST

People need to understand that black people are not one people with one language .
We are different people with different languages and culture.
Some of them were kidnapped while the rest of them were captured during war.
Technically, they sold their enemies to slavery, not black people sild black people.
People should stopped assuming black people sold black people to slavery, they were fighting Among themselves over land.
I'm Yoruba, and from Yoruba history that I read and told by elders.
The British came during the time war.
1.Yoruba people were fighting an internal war
    2. They were also fighting against their neighbours over territories. They needed to expand their land.
When the Europeans came,The Europeans met people waging wars against each other. The captured during the war were sold to the Europeans.
Finally, when the Europeans settled down among them, kidnapping became the norm.
Assuming the Europeans did not come, they would have killed each other to the last group standing.
Those that could not kill each other, would eventually make peace, create borders and etc
The war The Europeans stopped then, is what Make the continent Africa unstable now.

I don’t know why it’s so hard for some people to understand that. No one was a monolith in Africa, Europe, Asia, or the Americas. We as human beings in totality have always been multiethnic often at war with our neighbors. Ukraine and Russia are at war right now same with Palestinians and Jews. If these aren’t interethnic conflicts I don’t know what is. However, people still can’t get it through their heads that Africa is not a monolith and never was.

Same place all the buildings are. You think ships don’t get broken down, destroyed or their materials re used? That’s a strange question to ask and disproves nothing.

First of all, the Africans are not our ancestors. The black Hebrews are out ancestors. We are the ancestors of the tribe of Shem. The son of Noah read the history about noah's 3 sons. One sun, the Africans came from which his Ham The other son is jepheth The Indian the Europeans, the Asians and the Middle East part of the Middle East people descend from him.
The other son Shem, that's where we come from. In all of the blacks who were scattered all over the world come from the tribe of Shem. We are the original descendants of the ancient Hebrews which are not African. No your roots don't get history

      Thank you for your comment.
Can you provide evidence to demonstrate the claims you have made?
I mostly base my research on primary sources, not religious books. I am happy to provide additional readings you can look up to learn more about this topic.
Your explanation of the origin of the different ethnic groups is overly simplistic, and is not supported by historical facts. I would be happy if you provided proof to substantiate the claims you are making.
      Thank you.
