Being in construction, I'm up to my eyes in sin all around me all day long. All the Christmas parties are loaded with drinking, swearing, blasphemy, and my family isn't much better, but they look at me like I'm the crazy one. When I'm not focused on Christ, my flesh quickly creeps up and causes inward turmoil. What peace I have when I'm sowing to the Spirit, and how quickly the world is ready to take it away. All I do is love on people, and look forward to Sunday worship and fellowship to get me through. Glory, hallelujah, Christ is born! Merry Christmas!

I don't agree with this man, but then I'm American I DON'T HAVE TO, SO far, thank Godness and followers of our original Constitution. When Jesus was born, many brought presents in appreciation, So we do it for each other. Taking that away from people in words and deeds destruction of our economy decades ago... by legends in their own minds... Since people KNOW what is crude, rude and sociably unacceptable he should talk to them. And maybe they should think about staying away from society. I am missing my relatives so bad, because Christians and other criminals box checkers decided I didn't need what I worked for was working towards and opportunities or my relatives. But they blame God.

My goal is to just give everyone around me a small sense of joy and hope. I want to shine His light onto others. This world beats us down day by day and for some, they either don’t ever seek Christ or don’t know Him. I want to show Him through my love. Right or wrong, that’s how I roll. I Never ask for anything in return but for others to simply come and have a good evening without worrying about anything.

Yup. God isn't against or called wicked alcoholic beverages.....Jesus made wine himself......it the getting DRUNK that is the evil.
Personally just tried some type of glass bottle beer for the first time at Thanksgiving in my late 20's. It was supposed to be light, whatever that means, and I Personally thought it was absolutely disgusting! A couple sips to be polite (it was a middle eastern Christian who was trying to show proper hospitality. And got 😮 beer when he learned my brother can't stand wine.....doesn't really like beer either, but we all tried it. We had so desperately wanted to bring something like that because it shows respect, so we let him. He doesn't really drink anything himself is the funny part! Got 3 sips in before my gag reflex said "don't you try that agaib"

I am an "expert" at this since my husband is not saved, and he actually thinks that I am a kook for believing Jesus is Lord and the words of Scripture are literally God's words. When we got married, I believed, but it was a luke warm belief. I was saved years earlier but allowed myself to be lured into the world instead of staying focused on Jesus. About 7 years ago, I felt like I was being pulled back HARD to the Lord. The Holy Spirit was convicting, and I was feeling it. Ever since, I listened to the Holy Spirit and made a hard right back to the Lord. Being around my husband has prepped me to be a lone wolf amongst unrepentant sinners.

Also, I highly recommend you read Created to be his helpmeet by Debi Pearl. It’s a wonderful book based on biblical principles on being the wife that God has called you to be. I gave it to my sister last Christmas and she started to apply it to her life. There are changes in her husband and he is even entertaining the thought of going to church! It has helped my marriage as well. Glory be to God! 🙌✝️💕

Admit you're a sinner..you have broken God's commandments. We're all sinners and Jesus came to save us.
He died on the cross taking the punishment for your sins upon himself, he was buried and rose again the 3rd day according to the scriptures. If you believe that in your heart and confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, you WILL be saved.
It's faith in Christ alone. That saves you and when you take that by faith. God forgives you and he adopts you as his child.
Don't complicate it hun, Jesus said it is finished.

You’re saved by our lord Christ Jesus precious shed blood, not by how much, or how long you beg. The power of the Holy Spirit to keep you, doesn’t diminish, or increase based on your feelings. Dear brother Romans 10 verse 9-10 says,”That if thou shall confess with thy mouth the lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.10. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Get into Gods word daily to help you grow in your relationship with our Lord. God bless you.

Have you seen “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever “?
It’s what Christmas is all about. Showing the love of Jesus to the world. Whether it be uncle Larry or the Herdmans. I hadn’t seen “national lampoon’s Christmas vacation” before this year because my mom wouldn’t let us, and now I completely understand why.
It’s not appropriate for kids. I’m glad I waited until I was well into adulthood to watch it. It was nice to watch something other than turbo man in “Jingle all the way.” Or the “Santa clause” with Tim Allen this year. Even though my parents told us not to believe in Santa Clause, we always watched stuff in TV about him, including the old claymation videos and bought way too many presents. 🎁
I no longer give gifts as I can’t afford to give gifts to all of my extended family members who don’t appreciate it anyway.
Instead, I eat with the homeless in the soup kitchen and go to church whenever the doors are open.
I’m learning that the true meaning of Christmas is about sharing the love of Christ that He gave to us. 😊

If you want to get biblical about holy days. The list in Leviticus chapter 23 are the original holy days that have both Old Testament and corresponding New Testament historical event fulfillment. For example, the Feast of Weeks was fulfilled in the New Testament in Acts chapter 2. The Feast of Trumpets is the next New Testament historical event. Moreover, Yahweh says, "These are My feasts" in Leviticus 23 verse 2. He didn't say that these were "Jewish feasts." All other ecclesiastical calendars are man-made traditions.

THANK YOU! My husband and my first Christmas was quite interesting and required him to re- watch The Grinch with a new perspective! By the way, this started my in laws (all of them) to stop liking me. I’m just fine with that though. Anyhoo, here’s the story: my husband’s family are non-practicing Catholics, I’ve always been active in my Parish. Every Christmas Eve his entire family gets together to celebrate and exchange gifts. Starts at 4 and ends apparently when everyone is passed out pissed! His words, not mine. I informed him in November that we would be attending Mass on Christmas Eve and we chose what time. Compromise is good, I always attended Midnight Mass but he chose 6p. Well you’d think we’d have set his entire family’s houses on fire with their reaction to us not only arriving late but because of “church”! We arrived half past 7p and I kid you not, all but the wee ones were lit! Positively pissed! And boy did we get an earful but I smiled, said my “hello’s & Happy Christmas” and went into the kitchen to promptly to save the meal they’d forgotten about, that was burning! I was 3 months pregnant and I don’t drink alcohol. Yes, I’m the black sheep of my family as we are Irish/Scottish and I don’t toast to Tuesday! 🤣 I finished the Christmas Eve feast and set it all out, then told everyone it was ready. The looks on their faces were hilarious, they’d completely forgotten about the food. It was a mad dash to the dishes and silent as they scarned! Afterwards I was told it was my fault they’d forgotten about the food because I insisted on attending Mass. I simply smiled and said ‘It was my pleasure!’! My husband chuckled, then told his family to stop the rubbish with me. Good man. By 11p, I couldn’t comprehend a word they were saying as it was mainly slurring and mumbling while some were passed out on the table. We left. I asked my husband if every Christmas Eve was like that and his response was, ‘NO! The food was amazing, not burned at all!’! Then proceeded to tell me all family get togethers were like that, including Easter. Oookay! We chatted about the meaning of Christmas, I had him go first. Then I explained my meaning of Christmas. Once home, I popped in The Grinch VHS and asked him to watch it with me. He got it. When my MIL rang the next day to yell at me about “this Mass nonsense”, I had to stop her and let her know that our children would be raised as I was and we would be attending Mass every Sunday as well as Holy Day’s. Christmas is the celebration of God’s greatest gift given to us. JESUS! Not what WE give to one another and definitely not a reason to get so drunk you forget about the meal! 30 years later now, we don’t see much of them as my husband, finally, opened his heart to God and Jesus 3 years ago and is a 4th degree Knight of Columbus. For 26 years I prayed that he would open his heart. He rarely attended Mass with me and our children. Now, he’s the first one ready to walk out the door! Hallelujah 🙏, God answers prayers. I’ve always been pleasant, polite and respectful with my in laws but they do not like me one bit. I’m too Christian, I come from a wealthy family, I’m uptight for not allowing swearing about our young children, the list goes on! Our kids are in their mid to late 20’s now and rarely go to the get togethers on my husband’s side. It’s sad but they asked them to not say certain words several times, again my fault which I happily take blame for but have nothing to do with. They especially get upset when they are quietly blessing their food and getting yelled at for doing so! None of them can stand the copious amounts of alcohol consumed and ridiculous behaviour. They much enjoy my family as its loving, polite, calm and no vile language or behaviour. I’m no priss, I served in my military for over 20 years. I pray for my husband’s family daily and wish them the best but I no longer go around. My husband takes his mum to lunch once a week but even that is taxing on him. I’ve corrupted him with God! 😁 Rather a good thing to be corrupted with in my eyes. Happy Christmas all and many blessings to you! 💚🍀

I know we need to share the true meaning of Christmas with lost family members, but… some family members or friends of the family may not have good intentions about spending time with us and showering our kids with gifts. I think we all need to be very wise and discerning about who we open our home to, and be careful that gifts are not being used to manipulate the kids. I find it hard to talk about this with anyone without causing offence but it’s true. Don’t just let anyone into your home because they have presents for the kids. Ask yourself why.

It is true that the sun god of Rome was celebrated, and Jesus was most likely not born in December, but there is actually a slight difference that may or may not be helpful, there is nothing wrong with not wanting to be celebrate in the way it is Saturnalia is, though Christmas is actually what Constantine instituted which was believed to be meant to veer away from Pegan belief in Rome, in an attempt to make Rome more Christian, it was chose as a date to commemorate his birth. The part of Christmas that is Pegan really just boils down to the gift giving and date. If you want to celebrate Christmas in August or September, there is nothing wrong with that, but Christmas wasn't really the same as Saturnalia. I suppose my point is just because some other holiday is Pegan, doesn't mean you can't celebrate Christ on the same day, it obviously wouldn't be right to worship Saturn on the 25th, but Christmas was meant to worship Christ, that's the way I look at it anyways. I respect your devotion to pleasing God in not celebrating Pegan holidays though, and maybe I'm wrong about it, but from my current understanding, this is how I view the 25th. Also if it hurts your conscience to celebrate Christmas, then don't, celebrate Christ, but the holiday is not technically Biblical, the whole scenario could well be compared to what Paul said about eating food sacrificed to an idol, - 4 So then, about eating food sacrificed to idols: We know that “An idol is nothing at all in the world” and that “There is no God but one.” 5 For even if there are so-called gods, whether in heaven or on earth (as indeed there are many “gods” and many “lords”), 6 yet for us there is but one God, the Father, from whom all things came and for whom we live; and there is but one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom all things came and through whom we live.
7 But not everyone possesses this knowledge. Some people are still so accustomed to idols that when they eat sacrificial food they think of it as having been sacrificed to a god, and since their conscience is weak, it is defiled. 8 But food does not bring us near to God; we are no worse if we do not eat, and no better if we do. 9 Be careful, however, that the exercise of your rights does not become a stumbling block to the weak. 10 For if someone with a weak conscience sees you, with all your knowledge, eating in an idol’s temple, won’t that person be emboldened to eat what is sacrificed to idols? 11 So this weak brother or sister, for whom Christ died, is destroyed by your knowledge. 12 When you sin against them in this way and wound their weak conscience, you sin against Christ. 13 Therefore, if what I eat causes my brother or sister to fall into sin, I will never eat meat again, so that I will not cause them to fall. - 1 Corinthians 8:4-13.

*ME: Read the book of Daniel -- Daniel uses Judah/Israel (Jews/Israelites) interchangeably.* When the Northern Kingdom got into idolatry, those that wanted to follow the Law Contract of Moses moved to the Southern Kingdom/Judah to worship/sacrifice at the Temple with the Levite priests. The Northern Kingdom was dispersed by GOD forever and are totally unimportant. *When the Southern Kingdom/Judah returned from the Babylonian Captivity, they had all 12Tribes represented and were called ISRAEL (12Tribes of Jacob).* There is no such thing as "lost Tribes" -- you can clearly see the Northern Kingdom of ASHER being represented in Israel in Luke 2. *There is no difference between Jew/Israelite.*

This is my concept of God:
    The Subatomic God
Imagine a deity so tiny that it makes quarks look gigantic. This Subatomic God exists at a scale smaller than the smallest particles we know. It operates in the quantum realm, influencing the very building blocks of reality. Unlike the traditional idea of gods who work on a grand scale, this one is all about the tiny details. It’s like an invisible force that guides the interactions of subatomic particles, shaping the universe in subtle but profound ways. This God embodies the mysteries and complexities of quantum mechanics, reflecting the unpredictable and intricate nature of existence.

@BillBiggs1 The Subatomical Coherence Model: Energy, Chaos, and Free Will
Hey everyone! I wanted to share a cool idea called the Subatomical Coherence Model. It’s a way to connect the tiny interactions of particles to big concepts like order, chaos, and even free will. It mixes physics, chaos theory, and philosophy to show how the universe balances structure and randomness.
      Key Points:
Energy Equation: This captures the energy of a tiny particle, influenced by mass, force, chaos, and time.
      Formula:
      E=M⋅(A2+ΔA)⋅(F+δF)⋅(C+Cchaos)⋅e−τt
Coherence Function: Shows how coherence (or order) changes over time, including some wavy oscillations.
      Formula:
      Ψ(t)=Ψ0⋅e−τt⋅cos(ωt+ϕ)
Interaction Potential: Models the potential energy between particles, combining gravity, electrostatic forces, and coherence.
      Formula:
      V(r)=−rG⋅M1⋅M2+r2k⋅Q1⋅Q2+λ⋅e−r0r
      Philosophical Twist:
Partial Determinism: This idea suggests that while universal laws guide outcomes, there’s still room for free will. Subatomic coherence represents order, and chaotic fluctuations show unpredictability.
      Why It’s Cool:
Physics: Helps us explore quantum systems where order and chaos mix. Philosophy: Bridges the gap between determinism and free will. Interdisciplinary: Connects chaos theory and complexity science.
