The pedal world has come so far in the last 15 years. As a bass player, I used to be told all the time that "these aren't for me" and it's so refreshing to see how much has changed in that time. I'm sure you hear that all the time, but I think showing that effects are applicable on instruments other than guitar, has really done a lot. Thank you.

The BOSS DD-20 does something like this...I have three of them. One was a gift. I run one, stereo, with a Walrus Audio Slö and the wet signal through a small looper so the the reverb only affects the delayed signal, not the dry. That may work with this device as well, but way expanded. The only plus of the DD-20 over this is the BOSS displays down to the millisecond, which is good for working with specific tempos. Lots of word here...I'll go now...
Might have to investigate this. Thanks...

Mind blown. It's like my first time seeing someone use a delay pedal all over again.
    Let's here some endorsements:
"oh my god this is takin me straight on the highway to heaven borther." - the well-mannered biker gang I accidentally ended up driving between on the way to the store
"If I had a reverb, I would always keep it in my cardigan pocket too." - every english teacher/professor I've ever had
    "can I chew it?" - a dog
"Now THIS is podracing" - Albert Einstein
The fact that this has 22 seconds of delay time really does invoke some serious nostalgia because the first big important delay pedal I was really aware of was the Boss Giga Delay which had 23 seconds, and not to mention the lineage of rack delays like the TC 2290 (which has 22.9 seconds of delay). But were those in a wooden box with front jacks? No. This is better. I love to entertain and this is a conversation piece that really ties the room together in my discussion pit/breakfast nook/suburban thunderdome sponsored by Lumber Liquidators.
Haas? Haas about DEEZ NUTS (That was actually informative, Russ, I really appreciated that nugget of knowledge)
thanks for giving me a stereo wash so wide it I can't see my problems on either side of it

I was actually thinking halfway through, I bet you have so many pedals now it's hard knowing what to go for when you're just playing around - and then it's all "too many delays!" I've got this old Akai Headrush and it has 4 outputs, one for each tape head (used literally one time), I bet you could get into some mischief with one of those

    Re: Haas Effect
I do enjoy your videos coz, as (kind of) well explained by William G, you show pedals in a different context and open the door to use pedals with different instruments such as synths & Modular (Eurorack) stuff, etc; it is quite refreshing to hear pedals used with instruments other than electric guitars. I was checking out Delay pedals with the Ping Pong feature; we do, after all live in a stereo world NOT a mono one.....
Thank you so much for mentioning the Haas Effect, in some ways it was (almost) exactly what I was looking for, and, therefore, stumbled upon it, quite by chance. It was worth watching the video just for the Haas Effect reference, but (as always) I did enjoy the entire video.

Then I decided to buy an Kirby G6. This has been an exceptional machine! No signs of power drop off and still picks up as good as ever, all I have replaced is the belt - apparently it is a weak point, if one exists on a Kirby. I love it mainly because it came from a era when things were made to last, aluminum casing and steel, NOT plastic and more plastic to break! Today's electronics don't last like the old stuff, it is a shame because technology can offer some really good advancements if it was made right.

Between this and the UA pedal vid, imma just keep my headphones on at all times.
Except that risks being unable to hear people stealing my vanilla cookies. Now where does this crumb trail go…

You are so good. ( I am not a fan boy type. The way you are using pedal technology really is inspired.) You should do some kind of downloadable video EP similar to what Wendy Law (Cello player) did. I loved the music at the end, nice drumming.
