Nice grafting. But why are you touching and disturbing the plant so many times. It was giving lot of tension watching that it may break. We shouldn't touch plants so much, especially the shoots.

Basically the purpose of grafting is for the plant to bear fruit early. So we plant mangoes from seeds (rootstock), after they grow and then transplanted with fruiting mango branches (top stem). For "rootstock", you can graft in young plant like in this video or larger. and for the "scion" you can watch my video "how to make the best stem for transplanting mangoes" here: th-cam.com/video/AXtU5ogwKdQ/w-d-xo.html

Prepare before grafting
Roostock: give fertilizer 1 month before grafting.
scion : cut the branch like you want to air layering but not layering with soil. after 1 month you can cut as scion.
Grafting:
1. use sharp knife
2. do it as fast as possible
3. put it in shade place

what is the main porpuse of grafting? you have mango already growing and why you need to cut it off and attach mango stem? why not just let it grow anyway it just the same all mangoes

Sorry Haven't seen complicated technic like this before.. you better find another way to do grafting ..
in fact this technique has often been used by many people, this technique is known as whip grafting. but here I use very young rootstock.
