It's an old set Jesse. I 1st learned about it in the 80s from Ray Milligan. In fact I used it to catch my 1st coyote in 1988. Set up against an ag lime pile as that was the only salient feature in the field. Thanks for watching these videos I appreciate it
Never seen that 1 before. Smart and effective I'll bet for those diggers. Luckily I don't have to many diggers. But will remember set if I do,THANK YOU Dale!!!!!
Thanks Mike Still have the sore throat but getting a bit better. 319-217-0655. Thats my number if and when you get ready for bait and lure just give me a call or text. I sure appreciate you
I absolutely wear gloves John. #1 it was beat into my head since birth you wear gloves. #2 I chew. Do I think it makes a huge difference? Probably not in this age where they come in contact with us and all our smells daily. But it's a phobia of mine so I do.
@@billingsleybrandtrappinglu1531 thanks Dale. I wear gloves too most of the time but occasionally I say oh hell and put one in without them. I usually don't wear them on a water set in the water and I can't tell if it makes any difference. Still catch plenty of critters. Thanks for all the info. Appreciate all that you do. I am 62 and only been trapping about 10 years and still learning.
You're welcome John. I appreciate you watching too. If we were smart we'd wear gloves trapping beaver all the time. Especially on waspy ones. Their nose and smarts are superior to a k9 in my opinion
Enjoyin' your videos and enthusiasm. Let's get you up to 1000 subs so you can make some money here. I'll start spreadin' these around, man. You put a bunch of time into these videos, and thank you very much, good sir.

I love the KISS principle. Have you ever had issues when they pull at the exposed piece with the trap flipping out of the bed?
Not if it's packed in tight Mark. Thanks for watching

Most trappers young and old both make it way harder than it has to be Ben. I like K.I. S.S methods. Keep It Simple Stupid. Thanks for watching Ben
