This is the perfect time to read a Winter book! ❄☃ I've been reading new release cozies and none of them take place in Winter. Maybe I'll read some in February. The Day After Tomorrow movie I've seen and recommend. It definitely makes you feel cold while watching. Have a wonderful weekend! Stay warm! 📚🌞
Ohmygosh, I can't believe how many of my friends here have recommended the movie here in the comments, lol! I definitely need to watch it SOON. You keep warm and safe, too, Cat. Have a lovely week, my friend. 🥰
I recently discovered Elizabeth Cadell and love her, so I will have to check that one out! I recently finished The Woods in Winter by Stella Gibbons, which was very wintery and cozy!
I read The Wolves of Willoughby Chase as a child and loved it. I did not realize until I was an adult that it was part of a series, which I have now read and also enjoyed. And I love all of the books by Elizabeth Cadell! She will be a real treat for you to read.
One of my goals this year is to read books set in the season I’m in so this is perfect! I’m going to see if I can find Winter Solstice. Also, I watched the movie The Day After Tomorrow a while ago and had no idea it was based on a book!
Everyone keeps mentioning the movie here in the comments, lol. I think I really need to watch it! And I hope you find a copy of Winter Solstice. It's such a lovely book. ♥️
I want to read more Rosamunde Pilcher. I got a copy of Winter Solstice a few months ago. I didn't know that Day After Tomorrow was a book! I want to read that for sure!
Just been on a ski vacation so I am really in the mood for something wintery 😃😃A woman in the polar night sounds really good. I have not heard of that book before
I really hope you enjoy it if you get a chance to read it. A ski vacation...yup, I'd be the one sipping hot chocolate by the fire while everyone else skis. 😂😂🤣 I hope you had fun AND got to relax as well. ⛷️♥️
Brrrrrrr!!!!!! I get chills thinking about these books!! Plus it's soooo cold outside and we have to go out soon!! These are such good books!! I will have to borrow your new book. It looks really good too!!
Mrs Ann - have you ever read any of the Leigh Koslow cozy series by Edie Claire? It's an older series that I loved but I have yet to find someone else who read it.
Rosamunde Pilcher and Elizabeth Cadell...both authors I haven't read. Yet. Thanks for sharing.
Oh Nadine...definitely try Rosamunde Pilcher. ❤️🥰❤️

Iris in Winter was my first Cadell. If you already love her, I think you will especially enjoy this one. There’s so much humor in it.
I can't wait to read it!
Thanks for the recommendation, I just added it to my wishlist, lol. I love cozy books. ❤️📚❤️

I read a series Willoughby Close and at first I thought it was a new book and went in a different direction! 🤣

Did you see the movie version of ‘The Day After Tomorrow’? That was good. I didn’t know this was a book.
I haven't seen it, but so many have said it was a great movie here in the comments. 🥰
