Thanks so much for the great video! Wish I went with the Whipple. For about a year now I have the kenne belle 2.6 highly recommended by jlp. Took like 6 months to get too. Told that the 2.6kb can net up to 800rwhp. Well, that is really not the case on pump gas plus I had some pinging with the initial tune at 499rwhp. I regret having listened to them and then regret that I am told I need race gas if I want more than 500rwhp! My stock eaton drove and felt better even if there was less peak horsepower. The kenne belle has a lightswitch boost and doesnt come on smoothly like the eaton does. I was told that it has to be set up that way or the rotors can heat up, expand and seize in the case. What?? Why would that even be a thing? Eatons don't have anything like that going on. Where should I be on 93 Octane pump gas with a safe tune? I have stock cams and the built long block with cnc ported heads. I would like a solid 600hp plus (and similar torque) daily driver should not be too much to ask! So wondering if the Whipple is the way to go.
Thanks bro and how much boost are u running? Stock heads can get u more than 600. Depending on your tuner. And jlp they always go with KB because he is a supplier.. It's always better to have ported or aftermarket heads. My stock lightning swap f150 single turbo 76mm on 11lbs of boost it made around 550 or 560 whp and that's a complete stock motor on e85. But I am pushing every boundaries on my stock rods and pistons.
On 93 octane you're going to be limited to 19(ish) pounds and that will be at 10 or 12 degrees total timing. You're correct that a ported Eaton with a 10Lb lower and 2.8 upper will make better and flatter TQ than a KB will...until you get the boost above 20, then the KB will shine. With stock cams you will almost always make 100 more TQ than HP(peak). I have a 2.9 whipple...IMHO it is the best blower available right now. You def need some cams. Who did the heads?
You mentioned having a few Intakes there. Are you willing to sell any of them ? Or are you willing to sell the 1999/2000 Intake Assembly that you took off ? Thanks for your time...

But ubwont be able to use the full potential because even though let's say u wana run 10lbs of boost the mass or air a whipple makes compared to a stock blow it massive l. yes, on the intercooler adapter housing to the intake manifold, I will use the factory steel stamped gasket, but between the intercooler adapter housing and the supercharger monting flange? did you use a gasket or a sealant

I was doing the inventory on my race 3.4 l whipple kit and noticed that the gasket between the supercharger body and new Inter cooler didn’t came in the kit . I noticed yours didn’t came with one neither when you were unboxing it . Those it takes a gasket there or not?

I would say long tube headers, lower pulley 4lb or 6lb, air intake jlt, single blade TB, 2600 maf, e85 would be a great addition some e85 fuel pumps,60 or 80lbs injectors, and if u want ported blower, alos for cooling, bigger heat exchanger, and a big ice tank
