    Got a full built 2003 with a 3.4. Makes 620 on pump and 850+ on C16... fun trucks if they're built correctly. Had JDM in New Jersey build it and they did it right.

      @Trokiando  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Fun trucks for sure!
      Wow, now that’s some power, maybe one day this one gets some similar power upgrades 😎

  • @3500camarz
    @3500camarz 2 ปีที่แล้ว +7

    You can add about 40 hp with a good port job on the supercharger. I would do that first before changing pulleys. So many Lightnings blow their engines after changing pulleys. Do that, get another tune, and you should be very close to 400 RWHP. If you aren’t then additional cooling mods and possibly longtube headers should bump you to 400 with stock pulleys.

    • @3500camarz
      @3500camarz 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Also high flow cats or even cat deletes if you haven’t already will free up some HP

    • @Trokiando
      @Trokiando  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Going to have to look into the port job then, thanks for the suggestion!

    • @ilrexcaliburzli8392
      @ilrexcaliburzli8392 ปีที่แล้ว

      What about on the Harley Davidsons, can I change the pulley without worrying it will blow up on me.

    • @midnight347
      @midnight347 ปีที่แล้ว

      @ilrexcaliburzli8392 it's not gonna blow up because you did a pulley but you gotta upgrade other things too like your cooling for your blower and supporting mods like fueling etc. Depends on how much boost you push and stuff but you need to focus on supporting mods not just the pulley. Give it the most octane you can and get a good tune that is what is important.

    I made 430hp 535tq on a 4lb lower and 17 degrees of timing, stock injectors, stock pumps, 93 octane, stock block, stock Eaton, SCT BA2400 MAF, accufab throttle body, jlp air box, catless mids, bassani catback. So these trucks can make plenty of power. Now I’m at 400hp/540tq with headers, larger pumps, jlp plenum, and larger lower pulley with 13 degrees timing. With a twin screw blower you can easily make over 500 on a stock block safely all day on 93 or e85 as long as you have pumps, injectors, MAF, exhaust and a good tune.

    • @Trokiando
      @Trokiando  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Trokiando St Paul, MN. ⚡Was bought new here back in 01. Parents moved to FL so it's spent most of it's life there. Had it shipped up here about 4 years ago now. It was just sitting since my pop's had passed away. My Ma thought it was in good hands with me. Especially since I was the one who convinced him to buy it all those years ago. It definitely needs some work. I replaced a lot of stuff but it still needs more, some stuff is hard to find or near impossible and everything else costs a fortune now, especially since COVID.

      You can't compare different dynos. Lightnings don't make 380 wheel stock most are 320-330 or so on a dynojet 380 at the wheels is a super happy dyno.
