That 🤡 gave the Stros extra motivation. They completely ripped their hearts out. When the Astros took the lead you could feel the life starting to be sucked out of the stadium and Sox.

Loved that after he final out, the Astros just did their normal high fives and hand shakes. Like no big deal. Boston celebrated like they won the WS.
That’s because the score was 10 - 1. The Stros knew they had this game in the bag as early as the 5th inning, headed to the ALCS. Had the game been tied going into the 9th inning, and the Stros took the lead at that point, they would have celebrated as fiercely as the Red Sox did.
And Boston was a walk off
bruh since the start of 2000 redsox had won more ws series then any teams and all teams celebrate a walk off win
That's because Boston was predicted to miss the playoffs and win 82 games by most baseball experts at the beginning of the season.
So of course Boston is celebrating like the World Series....they upset a 100 win team that won the Pennant last year (by defeating your Astros 😂).

First, congrats to the Astros on advancing to their 5th consecutive ALCS. They were better than us and I personally believe they're going all the way (although the Dodgers will be tough if they play them)
Second, our fanbase's attitude was absolutely embarrassing in this series. Making baseless accusations about how the Astros were cheating. Their offense was great and our pitching sucked. Take the L and stop acting like a bunch of sore losers and crybabies
Third, the performance throughout this series was such a complete failure by almost all our players and coaches that it's not worth singling anyone out because they all sucked
Finally, as a baseball fan, Red Sox vs Astros is gonna be a great series

Altuve batted in and scored half of the Astros runs and made the game ending out, all while the salty white socks fans boo’d him. It was quite a show. Cant wait to see the boys back in the ALCS!

So the crowd went wild when Altuve was hit by the pitch and when their player got hit by the pitch, they booed and the Coach demanded an ejection? Even if hitting Altuve wasn't intentional, the cheers from the crowd said a lot.
It tells me that they were passionate fans of their home team, but not very knowledgeable about the game.
I was sitting there thinking, how do you cheer giving a free pass to the tying run in the third inning of an elimination game? Especially knowing what kind of offense you're going to have to face after him?

La Russa showed himself to be a complete joke.
Tim Anderson is an amazing hitter. Yoan Moncada and Luis Robert are also great hitters. They just couldn't string much together when it counted. The only game they won was helped tremendously by terrible officiating from Tom Hallion.
ChiSox have a good team, but their pitching hasn't been able to hold the Astros. With the dismal state of the AL Central, I expect to see a fair amount of playoff White Sox for the next few years.
Pretty good example of the difference between a rising young team and a team of complete veteran professionals. The Sox will get there, but not yet. Astros-Red Sox will be a great series.
It's hilarious to me how this has aged. Not cuz I hate the Sox or anything or because 1 year says so much....but just because how much of a dumpster fire the Sox turned in to and essentially look like their run could be over before it started. Rodon gone, Abreu gone, massive regression for others, injuries aplenty, and the Guardians on a full scale upswing.......congrats Sox.....you played yourselves.....

With that said, the White Sox had a great 2021 season. Winning 93 games and their first A.L. Central Division title in 13 years. Not to mention that the South Siders made the Playoffs for consecutive seasons for the first time in their history. It’s time for this team to take the next step in 2022. I do think that Tony La Russa is the right guy to get that done. I was against the Sox hiring him, but I was proven wrong.

When are opposing fans and players alike going to realize that the more they boo, the more they talk, the more they cheer after HBP, the more they are just fueling the astros? After seeing Rodon's ridiculous displays in the first inning, it was satisfying to see his slow walk of defeat to the bench. I understand the energy and being pumped up, but dude, it's the first inning. I wonder what Tepera has to say? For a guy that took 6 years to get to The Show and his first season of really doing anything, his bark is a little yap. A few things it'll be good not to see: Abreu's funny lookin' chin wannabe knot. Kimbrel's silly pre-pitch stance (that obviously strains him to keep it still). Jimenez's crooked cap and his ridiculous rope chain. (Is there a competition on the White Sox to see who can wear the biggest/most chains?) The Astros showed that game 3's plate performances were out of the ordinary. They didn't chase, they were patient at the dish, and they waited for their pitches. What to say about a guy like Kyle Tucker? For a young guy, he plays like a seasoned veteran. Scoring 10 runs without a contribution from Air Yordan shows this isn't about one player. Everyone contributes and it's fun to watch. Great win and close out of the series. It's gonna get tougher from here on out but our Astros can do it. Well done, Lads! We're proud of you! Keep the train rolling!

Very disgraceful with the way they acted especially cheering not only when Jose Altuve was hit by the pitch but when Jake Meyers was injured. Also what Ryan Tepera said was very uncalled for and really ignorant. Then you have your manager throwing a hissy fit over a batter being hit. Your comment has no merit

Astros are back in championship series.
The thing that stood out to be was the head games with the base running and pitcher/catcher. White Sox were totally outclassed when it came to anticipation and keeping runners in check. Felt like overall White Sox were just happy to be there

Tbh the white sox were overrated the entire year, their roster looks loaded and there are seemingly no weaknesses but for some reason they struggled to win against winning teams. I dont think that they would have even made the playoffs in the AL east, cause the top 4 teams in that division are all better than the white sox

.500 against teams with a winning record that to me is the definition of overrated especially since coming into the year a lot of people had them as their favorites to make it to the WS

I think the White Sox fans really got to Altuve but Altuve a man of few words, let the fans know how he felt about them when he blasted a homer off their best reliever.
Not to mention Hendriks was the guy who was going crazy pumping his chest in front of Altuve in game 3. Altuve got him back.
