1:09 - people always knock Lee Haney's front double biceps, and his "weak" arms! Personally, I don't think his arms are weak at all. As good as Robby, or Arnold - obviously not - but weak? I don't think so. Lee's front double biceps is a stunning pose, with amazing proportions and aesthetics, and his arms compliment the overall look perfectly. It's one of the best front double biceps poses of all time. He didn't win 8 Mr O's by luck, and he should be in the argument for GOAT with Arnold and Ronnie!!
I've seen both guys on stage and Robby in the gym too. Haney irl in a front double biceps was mind blowing. The front double isn't just biceps...Lee's V shape is incredible, good quad flair and wide as a house. And MMM, Lee and Robby have shared the stage ...84 Olympia
@@wildmanz8233 Robby came 5th in the 1987 Olympia, and competed in a few others in the 80's too - I think. And yes, Lee's front double is perhaps the most underrated shot in BB history?? His silhouette is one of the best, and his arms fit the shot perfectly!! I actually have Lee as the GOAT and not Ronnie. I prefer Arnold's look, but I think on stage Lee might win??
@@mikthe2004 I was in the audience at the 84 olympia in NYC when I was a teenager. I didn't even know who Haney was...when he came out I was like "that guy's gonna win!". There were a lot of greats in that show: Sergio, Beckles, Roy Callander, Samir, Mohammed Makkaway, Robby etc...he blew them away just standing there.
I have Robbie the victory in the side chest. I also thought Robbie was more aesthetic in the front lat spread but couldn't give him the W because of the legs of Haney. Rear lat spread was splitting hairs as well as rear double bicep pose. What a fun match up that can be debated quite a bit. Also Robbies abs and serattus are nuts even in side chest pose, absolute gills. Solid post Marx Max Muscle
If you saw Robbie Robinson in 1978 in his peak, you would understand why he was so great. From the side his arms were so big. It seemed like he had extra arms on top of his arms. And when he posed his muscles popped like you've never seen. He was amazing!. I saw him in person beat Mike metzer at night of the champions in New York City in 1979
Lee Haney is the GOAT! MASS WITH TOTAL CLASS! Robby had better arms than Lee but that is it. Lee was the last great Mr Olympia. Once Dorian came in, nothing but bubble guts.
They are a tough comparison, but at his PEAK I would give Robbie the edge, he also had an incredible back and rear double biceps AND FRONT BICEPS which was a bit of a weakness with Haney... ***I will add IF Haney had another inch and a better peak on his biceps (which he didn't) then he would destroy pretty much anyone INCLUDING Dorian!!***
Robinson was one of my favorite BB's but unfortunately for him, the W. Empire believed Zane was more marketable ( despite having less muscle mass). Robinson dominates Haney with the exception of separation in the quads and abs.
Robby your favorite, I like that pick! But Franco your other favorite, who was my favorite for several years. Still how sad none of his friends told him that those appendages that he walked on, called legs are also made of muscles and need to be developed! How sad! You can not win any first place in any event with only half a physique!!! R I P. Dear Franco.
Robby still looks good today at 77! Legend!

Yeah I don’t see the weakness in this pose for him. I think all the TH-camrs just heard it from someone and ran with it.
they aren't even weak they're just there, theres a slight asymmetry I guess and he loses out to Robby big time on the bicep peaks but thats it

These two are the current standard for classic division. Everyone is screaming Arnold but these are the prototypes.
If that would be true then Breon should be winning more shows... due how similar his physique is to Lee Haney, but that’s not the case.
Thanks for taking my request! Great job Mark.
Robby’s intercostals and serratus! Just mind blowing reminiscent of Shawn Ray.
Awesome photos of Robby. Way to find them!
Definitely one of the all-time greats.

Robby had amazing arms. Holy crap they looked great. His waist is small, he has very good legs for the time too.
What a fascinating comparison.
Come on Billy!!!
I think Robbie has a Master's O title? Excellent video, awesome!
Robbie has bicep peaks on another level. And both were totally symmetrical.
@ 4:58 Marx May Muscle gives us the baritone double bass note . That alone makes this worth watching.
Robby takes a couple poses and a couple body parts if we want to separate them up a bit..2 LEGENDS..
These 2 were ahead of my time and I haven't seen much of them. I don't like the old days' blurry pictures. Lol!
This is why we have "classic"
Mostly agree with that comment, but put Robbie’s perfect arms on Lee and then you have a perfect physique!!

I saw them live at the 84 Mr Olympia. No contest as Lee destroyed everyone.
Robby one of my all time favourite bodybuilders.
Robinsons front double bi first pic is very similar to how cbum hits it
Everything is pre and post Dorian...... the mass monster style changed it......Lee was the last and best of the "pres" - no contest......
Thanks for this.
Good video man🔥 I think you got some nice biceps bro. I salute you from Sweden💯🇸🇪
Do Haney vs Bertil Fox, or Mike Cristian, or Ron Love. Or that WBF guy, Gary Strydom. Or Viktor Richards.
Robby had and still has it all, the original uncrowned Mr Olympia!
2:22 - multi talented Marx with some great artwork there.
Yep, such an artist too.
Lee wins mostly on size
i love your channel brother
Lee Haney is the GOAT! MASS WITH TOTAL CLASS! Robby had better arms than Lee but that is it. Lee was the last great Mr Olympia. Once Dorian came in, nothing but bubble guts.
Both amazing physiques . The classic guys today should lay off tren and come in more softer and natural looking like these guys
2:18 MMM you look a lot bigger there than in recent uploads, when was that taken if you remember?
Robbie was that dude!
Thanks for thevideo ❤
How about Ed Corney , Danny Padilla, big Lou Ferrigno, Arnold?
They are a tough comparison, but at his PEAK I would give Robbie the edge, he also had an incredible back and rear double biceps AND FRONT BICEPS which was a bit of a weakness with Haney...

I think you're right! I love Lee Haney.
Robbie and shawn ray are my favorite physiques of all time
Robinson was one of my favorite BB's but unfortunately for him, the W. Empire believed Zane was more marketable ( despite having less muscle mass). Robinson dominates Haney with the exception of separation in the quads and abs.
Robinson wins the front dbl-bi for sure. Loses all other poses I think.
Robby so underrated
I'm not so sure the "era' is very relevant because Ronnie Coleman still beats the Mr. Olympias that we have today and that was over 20 years ago.
One of really like to see is Nimrod King vs Brandon Curry
That Robinson FDB in black and white is a wonder to behold. Top 3 of all time in my book: 1 Arnie 2 Oliva 3 Robinson

Great idea Mad Marx Max
Equal upper body, but Lee's legs are way better :)
Kee Haney was soimething else.
🎉
Lol @4:57
Wawawa, wingWawing! Classic
Wow Robby is killing Haney from the side
1st
I’ll take Robby over Lee
