Thanks; they have been great to me all around. Considering another e-bike purchased next summer for my annual trip to Ontario from Alberta. Some centres in Ontario do not have the best public transit. E bikes are fast effective and fun modes of transportation to utilize.

Hello there, thanks for this informative video! Just to let you know the problem we have here in Canada is that most US manufacturers who ship their bikes to us here in Canada have a shipping fee which can be pretty high which they do not charge when shipped in the US. The other problem I have in my area is that the bike shops sell their bikes starting price at a minimum of 4000$ and up( 15,000$) and they have all small motors and batteries! They do not carry the affordable bikes you can find on the web.
After many hours of research I finally found a dealer in Toronto Canada that just got a line of bikes which I was looking at at but the manufacturer who is in the US does not sell direct to customers in Canada.
The price range was in my budget( under 3,000$) and free delivery included! These are some ot the reasons I think people here in Canada buy on Amazon because they cannot afford these 4000$ and + bikes at dealers. I totally agree with you, Amazon is not your best choice if you have another choice. You must take your time time to do your research before pulling the trigger because you might regret as you said once you bought it on Amazon. Thanks for your video, this should help many people, have a nice day!

@@Ebiketips1 Hello again, the first bike I bought I did get online direct from the manufacturer but you can also buy it on Amazon and I was lucky enough to be able to return it and get my money back. It was a horrible bike, did 4, 5 rides on it it and everything was defective on this bike and the after sale service was very complicated because you could not talk to nobody, they only offered email exchange. It's funny because other people who bought the same bike seem to love it! I guess I was not lucky.
But this time I was lucky, I bought the velotric discover 2 and what a bike, it works great and has so many features, torque and cadence all in this bike, there are many reviews on youtube about this bike. As I mentioned in my previous comment, I put a lot of research to find the bike I wanted and the features I wanted, I read a ton of reviews and googled unbiased reviews from ordinary buyers like myself who mention what they like, don't like, the problems with the bike, the manufacturer, the service ect and this bike was a winner, so I bought it, no regrets! Well, there's my story. Have a nice day!

With Amazon be cautious but I bought a totguard off Amazon. I have had the totguard for 3 years and there is almost 8000 miles on it with no issues. I gave that bike to my son when I bought a Kepler and he beats the hell out it and still no issues. The aerial rider has given me nothing but issues. So I guess luck has a factor.

I made the mistake of buying an bike off Amazon; The seller has been great and communication has been all around positive.
Even advised before by many sources which I won’t directly link to the comments here, I’ve been advised to stay away and not purchase directly through Amazon again. However, the bike I purchased as well supported and I feel comfortable dealing with the seller directly through the Amazon marketplace. I have had a great experience with the seller and I will go back and get an upgraded d5 Pro again from Himiway!
I definitely will buy direct from them next time. Other than that, I’m happy with the bike and happy with the investment.
at roughly $1700 American $2400 Canadian is higher than my comfortable price range but paying more saved me buyers remorse in the long run. And yes, some issues that occur with bikes are often self inflecting damages.

Great video. We have a RadPower showroom here in Vancouver Canada with excellent service and quality products at reasonable prices. I own several of their e-bikes and ride daily (weather permitting) about 30 to 40 kilometres. I’m a senior, just turned 80, and find e-bikes to be a great source of exercise. I enjoy watching your videos, thanks for sharing.

Warranties are the responsibility of the bike manufacturers. Not Amazon. Bikes are even cheaper on Temu. Also Walmart ships for free ,when Amazon doesn’t. Same product. There are some very good deals out there. Best place for the first time buyer is a local bike shop.

Yeap, no Amazon ebikes. I also tell people who look on Amazon, if you are having a hard time figuring out how to pronounce the company name or the name of the bike then maybe you should stay away.
