I was diagnosed with two ruptured disks, L4 & L5. It happened from a car accident a few years ago. Currently laying in the floor after a complete meltdown from how bad the pain is. I don’t wish this on anyone, this is no way to live. I know I can at least walk (barely) and I’m grateful I can but this pain is so unbearable. I’m 25 and the thought of living like this for the rest of my life scares me and makes me so sad. The stem cel therapy is so expensive and insurance doesn’t cover it. The epidural cortisone steroid injections only work for so long and I don’t have insurance now so it’s an uphill battle. Sending all of y’all healing energy. Reading these comments helped me feel less alone but also made me really sad to know others are going through this.
I feel you I had an accident last week I’m 24 and I haven’t been able to sleep my lower back pain is getting worse, all I want to do is just stop the pain
It's like an electrical shock virtually every time I move. The pain is awful, I take about 20 mins to straighten up and when I walk it looks strange as if I have a broom handle up my arse. This has happened roughly 6 or 7 times over 2/3 years each time lasting for 10 days to 3 weeks. This time I used Naproxen tablets 500mg 2 times daily along with Ibuprofen gel which can ease the pain somewhat. *Apart from that I'm as happy as Larry* although never known who Larry is. :)
One of my classmate got the fluid sack popped and now she's rarely at school, bummer cause she did pretty good at every class and because she's 14 it's not easy to have surgery on her growing spine.
Honestly I don’t think surgery helps many people. I was told by multiple doctors that spine surgery hasn’t come far from how it was decades ago. It’s still the same ol ‘maybe it will help, maybe you’ll have to go back again, maybe you’ll have to go back several times’ mess. It’s so upsetting. I have a ruptured disc myself and the chronic pain has been going on for a full year now. It’s depressing. I hope your classmate has found relief. I can’t believe she was only 14 when that happened to her. I know your comment was posted 3 years ago but gosh, I hope she’s had relieving help since then.
My mom has this and she can barely step on her right leg. She has this on L3, L4, L5 and S1. I have to massage her leg every day but its fine for me. Its so severe that I think that she is going to get surgery a year later. Even though I am only 10 years old, I know quite a lot about the human body. My aunt (she is a doctor) says that I have enough knowledge to become a surgeon right now. It is my biggest dream, too.
Yes resting can really impact the treatment! But I sometimes tend to use alcohol, it seems to really work. Also try to stay out of all work as much as possible. It can be a slow and painful death. And try not to over do it or you can get a relapse it’s very serious!

well i got some great news for most people. Unless you were lifting a extremely heavy object over 100 pounds your not going to get a raptured disk or some sort of disk injury or muscle tear. If you do injure you spine by tearing a disk you wont feel pain but get paralyzed. If you are feeling extreme pain in the back after lifting something under 50 pounds or for twisting the wrong way YOU HAVE PINCH NERVE. A pinch nerve occurs when the nerve moves out of its place in the spine which than is either squished or starts rubbing against bone or muscles. The trick to curing a pinched nerved is that you have to move it back into place. The easiest way to do this to simply bend back as far as possible laying down and than twist to the right or left which will cause the nerve to readjust back to its normal position. If you feel extreme pain you should do leg stretches by trying to lift you leg as far up as possible or by pulling your leg to your chest as far as possible. Than the pain will go down but you still must lay on your back as far as possible even if you feel pain and twist it to try to move the nerve back into its place.
I hate to say but you are wrong. I have a herniated disc and that is what is pinching on my nerve not from my nerve moving. Exercise does not always work. I've been dealing with this since 2005 and have plenty of paperwork from Drs and knowledge about this.
Are there any permanent treatments to lower back pain? Can you replace the disc entirely? Does that make your back weaker? Is there anything that can allow me to sit down and do exercise for long durations of time without my back pain becoming worse?
not had any more shooting pains since the other day,Been working hard since,One of my work mates was telling me after 4 years or having a damaged spine,Its shrinking more,Could be why I was having shooting pains,Still get siesta,Get pinching pain in my left toe,Hope I get back to how I was when I first had this problem
Actually, my anatomy teacher taught that the back is specifically one of the stupidest constructions in comparative anatomy. Basically it is a double curved springed bow-like structure which doesn't usually last well for 40 years. If you were a god you could not design a worse structure. Further, looking at other anatomy consider the prostate. Would you design a urethra surrounded by a constantly growing muscular structure that would strangulate your urine flow. Would you design the kidneys to be backed up and poisoned by the strangulation of your urine flow. If there is a god, he is surely one incompetent moron about anatomy. And there are many more examples. Chances are a back surgeon knows more about anatomy than any cheap second-hand gods. As far as god goes....I would have to call him not even a CNA..
My doctor says that I just have muscle issues. I went for a MRI a x-ray and both came back negative, I have had this lower back pain for 6 months now. I sometimes gets numbness in my legs at random times during the day. After seeing this, it sounds like my problem that I have
So maybe you have mild sciatica if you feel some numbness? I’ve had my lower back pain and chronic sciatica for a full year now. It sucks so bad. Nothing seems to work.
Hello There D R! Cheer up as it may only be temporary! I had the same issue and now I understand why. Firstly, back pain can result from bad posture during our daily activities, lack of exercise and wrong moves. The intensity of the pain, doesn’t always correlate with the severity of the situation. We instantly think that moving causes more pain, but actually, exercising increases the blood circulation in the affected area, which leads to a faster recovery. I have used a simple product that you can use anywhere and it does the work for you. It is designed by chiropractors and physiotherapists for people to relieve the pain at home. All you have to do is to lay on it or put behind you on a chair, and it stretches the spine, relaxes the muscles and gently massages the area. I have experienced instant relief and a great improvement after a few sessions and will recommend this to anybody. The one I used was from www.drspinex .com and it really did the work. Hope you got some value out of this and I wish you nothing but good fortune and health! :D
Many people face back pain at least once in their lifetime and this occurs because of improper sitting or injury or to any other medical condition. Homeocare International is the best in offering the perfect solution for this by its simple and easy remedies.
They recommend Anti-inflammatory pill, Physical therapy, ice or heat , epidural shots , surgery , but no Pain pill to help get thru the day with pain ..once they open you up and cut thru Bone and Nerve tissue , you can never be the same again , plus back surgery can cost 100k in cost .

It appears in gape of 8 Or 9 months smtime even years.. It varies in severity though.. Now why as am commenting its hurting me since since couple of days.. May be the reason is zero physical movement and exercise.. As I m all the time on my bed. It's handicapping me for some days... Hope it get well soon.
I have this problem too my doc said my discs are a little near eachother and I have terrible pain Hes telling me im young and my back is gonna recover but it will take a while 6-12 months but I dont have to grab weights that can damae soo I hoppe im getting well asap :/
Heres what you should do: #1. Stop it getting worse. Make your core muscles super strong. Really focus on good posture. Never sit unless you absolutely must. Do not lift anything. #2. Use your mind best you can to ignore the pain. Easier said than done hey? #3. Use external ways to reduce pain. Ice Packs. Stretching. Laughter/comedy. Pills as a last resort. Hope this helps.

This is to all of you . Iversion , chiropractic, and the steriod shots can help . Dont give up ! Keep trying . Dont be afraid of chiropractic, it saved my ass .
One of these worst experiences of my life, if been suffering for 3 months now. The pain in my leg is undescribable and between the pain plus the numbness it's is unbearable. Lined up now for injections and if these don't work it's under the knife apparently. I'm 31 and I'm struggling to see light at the end of the tunnel
@@repswalpushpa tried that my friend, had an epidural done 3 days ago and its lifting a bit but its just a constant battle
The shots in the area of l4 l5 helped me . Also chiropractic helped . Keep researching . Do not ever give up !! Try inversion too.

I fell out of a semi trailer trying to stand up using a load lock it slipped out I went I was born with bertolittis syndrome and never knew it until I had a MRI I have a slight bulging disc in-between my L4L5 my L5 had a stress fracture of the facet joint and I also suffer from chronic sacroiliac joint pain on the side I landed on because I tried to catch myself so I didn't hit my head its been almost 5 years since my accident the pain never goes away some days better than others so I finally reached out to a surgeon its been a life changer married 2 kids im ready to get back to work

Then you must try Eminem’s raps on 2x speed
Is this curable normally?
I am having the same problem in my L4L5 discs. I was diagnosed at the age of 13. Now I am 23, it is depressing. I cant walk for too long not sit or stand or even laying down. What ever I do the pain is there with me. I don't take painkillers unless the pain is unbearable. Guess I learn to live my life with pain. I wonder how life would be without a consistent pain
divya davadas go to a physiotherapist!! They helped me sooo much. I have a little bit of pain but it’s not as bad now as compared to how it use to be. They taught me stretches that I can do at home every day. It’s a long healing process, I went to physio 12 times, plus message therapy but it has helped a lot. Don’t give up! I totally recommended the therapy!
Go swimming . I am 26 and same with you. Have problem in L4-L5.

@@stateofgrace__3102 does this affect with bowel movement
@ROSHAN it did woth me , but only at times .
well i got some great news for most people.
No
It's a permanent injury there is no cure
But you can minimise the symtoms
I'm absolutely curing natural DISC pain only

Facts we grew into what we are over millions of years of evolution, not some imaginary friend🤣🤣🤣

*That's so painful its 11/10 on the pain scale*

Glad it was helpful!
I had an accident skiing, high velocity wipe out landed on my back, resulting in me not being able to use my calf muscle much at all. Is this something that heals on its own over time?

Ty so much I have back pain
how many days or months we should start workout in jym after taking rest ??
Feeling weak on arms and legs and swelling in lower back is there any problem
Heres what you should do:
Never sit when you can stand. Use your mind to control pain? You are an idiot. Homeopathy your main source of income?

I have lumbar lordosis for 3 years now and the pain is not joking, it hurts like hell. You can't easily bend your back down to tie your shoelaces, you can hear the crack on the said area when you lay your back down on your bed after a tiring day and how difficult or painful it is to have a comfortable seat when you're just commuting from shool to home.
