So they're able to sell fresher foods that would otherwise go bad if they shipped in bulk once a week like most American stores do.

We have loads of different musubi, tuna rolls, manapua, pork hash, somen salad, decent bentos, good ice cream bars, etc. And 7-11 is cheaper than all the other convenience stores here (probably still expensive by mainland standards tho, but everything here is)
On the topic of not washing your shirt or not going on a date because that time could be used to make X amount of money instead: money is not the only type of value you can create with your time and effort. Loving and helping one another, creating art, and taking time to better equip yourself to do those things creates value. Just because you can’t see the number on a spreadsheet or bank account go up doesn’t mean those things aren’t worth doing. This naturally extends to taking care of yourself and estate to keep you humble and connected to reality.
As a once hobby artist, drawing is the biggest waste of time, unless you have got like a good career and just use it to wind down, not painstakingly create meaning into some squiggles
The thumbnail brings to mind what seeing a librarian for chiblee (chiblee garden) and squeex (squeexs hairline) had made me realize recently, which is that going forward, streamers, like presidents, will have their meritoriousness confirmed only upon the creation of a library in their name
best part about this game is that there can be multiple supercuts of all the banter that happens in different stages. this pool stage and the girder would both be insane
