Hey Karl, thanks for raising a voice for us. Youre a BRAVE man! I know us immigrants don't have a chance to stand against the unjust behavior we are facing in this country. After working for 5 years in this country, paying thousands of dollars to be an engineer and working as a professional, still waiting for a year with 3 lodged EOIs Ive lost hope in Australia.. but its Australians like you who show some ray of hope.. I hope Australians realise what immigrants bring to this country and raise a voice for us because certainly we cant do anything for ourselves.

I just saw some information regarding ACT conducting integrity check of their 190/491 visa applicants and visa holders to make sure they have fulfilled the residency commitment while signing the declaration. It seems that Karl’s video talking about withdrawing nomination due to visa applicants leaving states which nominated them still holds water today. I guess the best practice is if you are still waiting for your 190/491 grant, don’t relocate. After the grant though, do whatever you like.
Hi Carl, I have a question in 491 visa requirement for PR. Do the both primary applicant and subsequent entrants required to fulfill living regional area or just the primary applicant

I'm looking forward to hearing back from you.
Government may have decided to deliver double-whammy to all hopeful migrants but let’s see in 7 days. Would be even more interesting if news articles start to populate the idea that Australia no longer welcome migrants after the budget release.
A sad reminder to those who still want to apply for a 476 visa in the next financial year, DOHA has publicly announced the formal closure of 476 visa on 1 July 2024, and the allocated 3735 slots have been used up. You can find the relevant notice when you log in to your immiaccount.
We are skilled partners, both with superior english, earning well over 300K combined, both occupations in IT and on Medium Long term skills list. Experience over 2 years onshore and 7 years offshore EACH. Living in Regional Australia, paying our taxes and sitting on a 482 awaiting a miracle for 189/190/491. The employer has a no 186 sponsorship policy, and here we are feeling hopeless through this immigration system and their politics. We seem to be the ideal migrants, both paying the govt back with our high paid jobs, superior engoish, job skills in demand and regional residence, i've given up on what more we could do to be invited for a PR or even to get an invitation to apply for one.
Your circumstances are difficult and hopefully will be releived after July with more regional places given out. The issue of employers using temporary workers on a long term basis but never sponsoring them for PR should be addressed for in the end it is just exploitation. There should be a pathway without the need for an employer to sponsor for PR for those who have been on a 482 for a long period
Hello sir…i want to know about the latest processing time of australia training visa subclass 407. Also when the sponsor says that the visa status shows “ received “ what does it mean in terms of visa processing? When the visa application files are on the final stage how many days does it take for case officers to grant and release australia visa subclass 407.
@@ailsaustralia my visa was applied on 12th November 2022. This year in January 2024 the sponsor said by April 2024 visa we start getting released by immigration. The first week of April 2024 we got updates from sponsor that my visa file has been received and its on the final stage of finalization but since then haven’t received any further updates on my visa. So i wanted to know how many more days or months will it take for visa grant by the immigration.
@@ailsaustralia hello sir. I have been updated by my sponsor that my visa subclass 407 is with case officer at its final stage but all documents have been sent to Australian High Commission, New Delhi, India for verification process again. I want to know is the Australian immigration really sending documents of Indian applicants for verification again and again before granting visa?? As i have been waiting for my visa since 3 years and haven’t received it yet, m really worried and stressed. If there is verification again then would should be the expected timeframe for me getting my visa? Hoping you could assist me well with my worries with positive response from your side. Thank you.
They did however treat us 491 visa holders somewhat fairly, still not like other state nominated visa holders, but at least no income requirement anymore. Still, 491 visa is the most inhumane visa, freedom to move should be the fundamental right of human beings.
All that 491 is for is carrot and stick visa holders into settling in regional Australia, nowadays you can even go to Perth Adelaide and even Gold Coast. All you can’t settle in are three major cities. You can still visit those big cities on holidays.
Thank you, Karl, for making this video. There has been a lot of unwanted panic regarding the proposed CSOL being somehow linked to the 189, 190 & 491 visa subclasses.
At least JSA is fairly upfront about this. If those people who checks the list bother to read introductory and explanatory texts, they would’ve realised this CSOL is ONLY for skilled in demand visa. With that being said, there is no telling if DOHA would expand this list to GSM visas as well. Only time can tell.

Thanks for your continued support to the fragile Student community.
Thank you for sharing this-i must say …. I appreciate the straightforward truth ..
Thanks a lot. Your explanations are very clear and helpful.
Glad it was helpful! Thanks for watching
I think I am suffering a depression because of all these visa changes… Not sure my life has any future now
It will always have future, value and direction. Dont let others take that away from you whether it be governments or individuals
Do 35 years Older can apply for Visa Extention befor july!? Still 8 months are remain for Study... and my uni is in the list and im doing mph
People who can apply for extensions based upon the course list should apply straight away
Student visa extension. So we cannot apply for student visa extension after july?
Hello Karl. Thanks for trustworthy information you provided on the channel. Under current legislate, can I be considered positively for 482 or 484 subclass visas for sponsored occupation Mechanical Technician/Drafter, if I have qualification Mechanical Engineer, recognized by Engineers Australia, and proven work experience as an Engineer. It is the same engineering field, but with lower level of education required. Thanks.
Any news on DHA scrapping the need of employers to nominate employees again for 186 TRT?
Not yet but I hope there is some movement on this
If this happens, that would be so great. I mean if employers already nominated you once, why there is a need for them to nominate you again and again.
hi Karl, this is an informative video, can you please elaborate on the options for the Asian countries, as I belong to Pakistan. and want to know if these visas are for Pakistan or not? and second, what are the options for Skilled immigration for Pakistan? I'm looking forward to hearing back from you.
It is always harder from Pakistan for temporary visas but for the PR visas it is a good level playing feild
thank you karl❤️
YOur welcome, thanks for the suppport
Next months budget is going to be very interesting given the negative side effects of so many recent policy changes
Thank you so much for all these valuable information 🙏
What is the situation for European citizens especially Portuguese about to stay in Australia?
Same as always
I hope they introduce 485 transition period for students who joined last year.
this chanel is the best, thanks for everything
Our pleasure!
Thank you mate
Glad it helped
The date in title seems to be wrong. I wish its still April though😂
Thanks for letting me know, fixed
Is it confirmed, the Age restriction that it is under 36? Those who are 35 year 11 months can apply for 485 visa.
Seems to be but not confirmed as yet
Hello sir…i want to know about the latest processing time of australia training visa subclass 407. Also when the sponsor says that the visa status shows “ received “ what does it mean in terms of visa processing? When the visa application files are on the final stage how many days does it take for case officers to grant and release australia visa subclass 407.
Just need to wait them out. 3-6 months is not unusual
Thank you.
Seems there is a typo in the news subject heading. Instead of ‘4th of April’ the date should be ‘4th of May’
Any chances to get number please please…..
With length of the 485 visa being cut from 3 years to 2 years for Masters. Does this affect students from India ?
No, you will still get 3 years.
Indians are safe with 3 y due to agreement between both governments
Check out their website for the details
Hello sir, i already applied for 482 visa 3 days ago, what will happen next.
You should be perfectly safe
They did however treat us 491 visa holders somewhat fairly, still not like other state nominated visa holders, but at least no income requirement anymore. Still, 491 visa is the most inhumane visa, freedom to move should be the fundamental right of human beings.
Yes that did but that was because we embarressed them so much they had no choice. However credit to them that they did that.
Your welcome. They and be nice Estelle
@@ailsaustralia I apologise. Will keep that in mind.
