I like the Highway to Heaven episode "Another Song for Christmas" from Season 1, starring Geoffrey Lewis as Honest Eddie Barton, a crooked used car salesman. It's based on A Christmas Carol with Jonathan Smith playing the Ghost of Christmas Past and Christmas Future and Mark Gordon playing the Ghost of Christmas Present. Other than that my favorite adaptations are: 1. The 1984 version with George C. Scott 2. The 1970 musical version with Albert Finney 3. The 1999 version with Patrick Stewart 4. The 1971 animated version with Alistair Sim 5. The 1951 version with Alistair Sim
My Top 5 Favorites: 5. An American Christmas Carol (With The Fonz) 4. Mickey's Christmas Carol 3. The Muppet Christmas Carol 2. A Christmas Carol (Patrick Stewart) 1. SCROOGE (Albert Finney)
These are the 8 versions that I can remember seeing, all of which were enjoyable, but something had to be at number 8: 8 - "Mickey's Christmas Carol" (1983 w/Scrooge McDuck) 7 - "Mister Magoo's Christmas Carol" (1962 w/Mister Magoo) 6 - "Scrooge" (1935 w/Seymour Hicks) 5 - "A Christmas Carol" (1938 w/Reginald Denny) 4 - "Scrooge" (1970 musical w/Albert Finney) 3 - "A Christmas Carol" (1971 animated TV special w/voice of Alastair Sim) 2 - "A Christmas Carol" (1984 w/George C. Scott) 1 - "SCROOGE" (US: "A Christmas Carol") (1951 w/Alastair Sim)
My Top 5 Favorites: 5.the 1997 animated movie with Tim Curry 4.the 1999 tv movie with Patrick Steward 3.the Stingiest Man in Town (1978) 2. Ms Scrooge (1997) 1.Scrooge (1970) & an American Christmas Carol (1979)
My favorite Christmas Carol adaptations(which I'll probably immediately change my mind about because choosing between so many great versions is just too hard) are... 5: Jim Carry 4: Mickey's 3: Muppet 2: Alastair Sim 1: George C Scott
I've watch countless Christmas Carol versions. And never got tired of it. Or the formula. I remember watching the Loony Toons version that got me a good laugh. And then there's A Hearth's Warming Tail. Then the Barbie version.
Great video. I can't stand the 2004 Christmas Carol and I never want to see it. You need to watch Scrooge from 1970, as it's the best musical version ever. The music is very memorable and Albert Finney is fantastic. You also need to see the 1999 Patrick Steward version as well. I also love the Jim Carey version and Mickey's Christmas Carol too.
Yeah my dad keeps telling me to check out the Albert Finney version. I'm sure I'll get to it someday. I have seen the Patrick Stewart version and it is really good. When he's not an emoji, you can never go wrong with Patrick Stewart.
Heck yeah it was! In fact, if you check out my Hearth's Warming Tail review from a while back, there maaaay be a reference to that song. Also, Hi Vector Brony. Never thought I'd see a comment from you. Love your work!
And vice versa. I've been watching you videos for a while and have always liked what I saw. You are doing a great job. And now I'm off to watch that video.

Mickey’s Christmas Carol was my first version too and it’s my second favorite too. The Muppets Christmas Carol is my number one. Merry Christmas!
Also, motion capture is still fine with movies like The Adventures of Tintin.
The musical is my favorite version
Thanks for not bashing the 2009 one. Jim Carrey was a great Scrooge.
Michael Gambon, the second Dumbledore. Mr. "DID U PUT UR NAME IN THE GOBLET OF FIRE???!!"

Did the Guy Pearce version ruin it all for you? I never even got to Marley's appearance to Scrooge
My favourite is definitley the 1951 Alastair Simm version.

Scrooge is the best version. Finney is amazing and the numbers are fantastic. Every other version is a far 2nd.
Link by link was a great song
