I loved this episode, and I agree, they did a great job of taking a tried and true Christmas trope we've seen a million times before, turning it on it's head, while still managing to make the message all the stronger. Also, regarding Launchpad's rendition of 12 days of Christmas. To qoute my brother: "this is a exactly how I feel about this song'
About Donald comic at 5.53. I don't know the exact story or specific issue but the style reminds strongly Cavazzano an Italian Disney author. When I was a kid to me Cavazzano was THE Ducks author I leaned his name even before knowing about Karl Barks and his style was my favourite (before Don Rosa came to be). I can't be certain that is actually a Cavazzano's drawing, because after a while here in Italy Disney sort of encouraged all italian authors to use his style, but even if that were the case at least you can be quite certain that that comes from the italian Disney production. To be more precise from the "Topolino" weekly magazine.
