That last switch sounds a lot like 50s cadence in some of his songs, namely the verses (not the chorus) from songs like window shopper where hes rapping in almost melodic cadence and the first part of each verse is high/emphasized then the tone goes low, just like drakes family matters verses in his last switch. Imagine fif rapping in that cadence in the last part of Family matters. It sounds a lot like his style. Not to mention the G-unit chain reference at the beginning of the vid. I feel like I was slow to the realization that 50 cent is a hater.
It’s even crazier to me because 50 was the street guy, he pushed beef, he hated, he was the street guy in the hip hop scene. He lost to a guy like Drake, an outcast to the scene, a nerdy guy, and that’s Kanye. Kendrick is the rap scene going back to prior than Kanye. It’s wild to me this switch over.
I honestly think Drake hired 50 as one of his ghost writers for Family Matters. That last switch sounds a lot like 50s cadence in some of his songs, namely the verses (not the chorus) from songs like window shopper where hes rapping in almost melodic cadence and the first part of each verse is high/emphasized then the tone goes low, just like drakes family matters verses in his last switch. Imagine fif rapping in that cadence in the last part of Family matters. It sounds a lot like his style. Not to mention the G-unit chain reference at the beginning of the vid. All that considered, if true Kendrick basically beat both Drake and fif if fif had a hand in helping drake write or sending a reference track. This imo would explain why 50 moving wierd towards kendrick and favoring drake.
Possibly. 50 got some type of stake in Drake. Whether he admits it or not. It's money involved. This man only goes hard for money.
