    I have a GMT master and I just love it, so I was convinced without a doubt that I would take the one with the date. I tried both on, the date didn't do anything for me, it simply felt too similar to my GMT master... when I tried the one without the date, my heart skip a beat ! I put myself on the waiting list and been looking forward to it ever since. So basically, I'm a firm believer in trying before purchasing.

    I have the gmts and the no date, I like the clean look of the no date. Its so balanced, it seems more grand. And its easy to read for old eyes.

    Sub is so much more classic and iconic than the sub date. Not to mention it’s much nicer aesthetically.

    i used to own a 'blusy' ref.126613lb, i ended up selling it because i feel like sub is more of a tool watch and the 2 tone just dont make sense to me anymore. I tried no date sub on few days back and it just grows on me.

    Thumbs up for synchronizing the watches.

    No contest. Best watch ever made. Bought mine in 1969 in Vietnam and still wear it every day. All original except for a new band a few yrs ago. Clasp is original.

    Got my 124060 from my AD in October 2021 after a 4 month wait 😎 it’s a stunning watch and could serve as a one and done watch or as part of a collection for anyone.

    I think the no date will compliment my mint green DJ41 perfectly. I always wanted a "boring and sterile" regular no date sub.

    Don't just settle for one. Go with the No Date for the basic, entry level stainless steel sub as your trusted everyday Sports Rolex.
    Then for your 2nd piece, go with either the yellow gold or the white gold submariner with a date cyclops to wear out to the dinner parties when you want something a little more for the occasion.

    For a black-bezel-insert Submariner, the No Date’s the way to go. It’s clean, classic, and beautiful. If you want a Submariner Date, go Cermit/Starbucks, so you get the splash of color, and green is Rolex’s signature color.

      Absolutely, I also didn't realize that the no date is slightly thicker as pointed out in this video.

    No date. It is more true to the original. It is also symmetrical. Ask yourself this question. Would you like it if they put a date in Daytona?

    What day is it?” asked Pooh.
    “It’s today,” squeaked Piglet.
    “My favorite day,” said Pooh.

    Well the difference between the 3230 and 3235 is the date complication. Obviously :)

    Are you sure that the date is thicker? Because all that i found is they have the same thickness. Great video as always.

    • @hhcreviews
      @hhcreviews  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You may be right but since Rolex does not officially report watch thickness, all the numbers are from none Rolex sources. Even for the reputable websites, they may report different thickness for the same watch. In any case, I think the difference between the two is very small or they are the same. That's why I now carry my own measurement tool to check the size for all watches I review.

    yeh but are the bezel UNIDIRECTIONAL? you only went one way. Pls let me know thank you good video!

    • @hhcreviews
      @hhcreviews  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The bezel on the Sub and almost all other true dive watches are unidirectional, counter-clockwise. This is to prevent if the diver accidentally bump or move the bezel during the dive,, the elapsed dive time will look more than the actual time, and diver will surface sooner, a safety measure.

    • @hhcreviews
      @hhcreviews  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You can't go wrong on either one. Purists will say no date, but others love the date for practicality. Perhaps to try both on at a secondary market dealer (many of them have large inventory) and see which one calls your name.
