    I followed this video and installed my sensors on the garage door as shown but when I spoke to a Ring representative he told me that in his home he found it was better to use a motion sensor. He pointed out that strong winds can shake the garage door which could set off the contact sensor. Now come, I think I'll use those contact sensors elsewhere and purchase a motion sensor for the entire garage.

    are those in a perpendicular angle like 90 degree or something instead of being parallel to one another?

    Does it have ability to make alarm sounds when it opens?

      Yes you can use it Alexa routine if you have Amazon echo or you can make the base station sound

      Yes, you can use the keypad included in the alarm system by Ring. When it's armed, opening the door will do different actions depending on how it's set up. If you choose to not monitor it, it will chirp but not set off the alarm. If you set it up on a secondary door or window, the alarm will sound. If you set it up on a entry or primary door, the alarm will sound after a customizable time. Before that time, you can enter your passcode on the keypad and then disarm it. If so, the alarm won't sound. But if you do not enter the passcode, the alarm will sound after the delay (60 seconds by default).
