Agreed, but I wish Samantha had made different choices. Lola didn't need to be protected from her dementia; she needed what extra time there was with the mentor she loved. I know Samantha believed that she was protecting Lola, but it was also pretty clear that Lola was crushed when she left, and would have been genuinely fine with remaining close to Samantha through her illness. If she couldn't simultaneously do elder care and run the restaurant, then there are fantastic dementia care homes in any remotely decent sized city, so Lola could be close and see her regularly; and they had the money to afford the best. That's what Lola would have asked her to do if she'd known; and not just because she wanted the best for Samantha, but because it's what would be best for herself too.
People who have truly changed want to make amends for what they did to others. They don't just want to receive -- forgiveness, money, approval, a chance to live happily without consequence. They want to give back.
I actually love the MIL from story 1. She is awesome for tormenting her son and his AP until her last say and the fact that Kevin passed and Holly got nothing makes it even better :) The FIL in story two came across as very creepy to me. No FIL should ever be having these types of conversations with their DILs in my opinion.
1) I guess Samantha reckoned upon being nasty to Holly (maybe Kevin as well) while her dementia would progress - her way to get revenge! And if not, it wouldn't bother her because of, well, her dementia... But kinda sad Lola could never meet her again, even after Kevin died 😔 2) There's no cure against stupidity! Btw: The title should say "dad", as Bill obviously didn't have a mother anymore
I like Samantha's revenge but it's sad that she subjected herself to those selfish brats for it Why tf would Sam wait an entire year to ask a question like that? That's something you ask before your child gets married?
Story 2: Bill excusing his father's behaviour is ridiculous. He should be shutting him down and defending his wife, not enabling it with the excuse of "that's just how he is." No, it's not how he is, he's just being a dick because you let him.
WTH, Kevin gets himself fired but blames his boss? Lies to his mother saying he has a criminal record to supposedly work for his mother that he's leeching off. Lola just go back to work like you did before Holly and Kevin are having an affair that's obvious, PLEASE see the writing on the wall. Fishing my asz. LMFAO, make Kevin and Holly pay alimony compensation and restitution. I like Samantha's plan to ruin Kevin and Holly's happily ever after. Even that kid isn't his, Holly really conned him, but Kevin's an alcoholic drunk. Samantha followed through with her inheritance, Holly isn't entitled to a penny she was divorced from Kevin when Kevin died. Enjoy your fortune, life and future Lola
This is one of my favorite text stories. Samantha was the perfect mother-in-law.
Story 1 is one of the better stories I’ve heard in a while.
First story: the goodbye Samantha gave to Lola made me cry inside
Tell AH FIL that from now on, every time he mentions babies or her mother that you will put off having kids another year!😡
Id put off marrying into this family for life.
Good morning, everyone from Alabama. That was a different type story. I bet that mil was laughing in heaven.😊
This was such a beautiful MIL/DIL relationship story..it made me tear up.. Samantha absolutely loved lola and lola loved her just as intensed😢

Yes the FIL is creepy and ignorant with the things he’s saying.
I was thinking the same thing!
Why is the creepy FIL so obsessed with his DIL getting pregnant??
Freaking gross in my mind
Story 1 is one of the best of this year! 😊
WHEW story 1 brought me to tears. Samantha’s goodbye to Lola was full of love and, as a result, heartbreaking.

lol I think the MIL only moved in so that she could be a living hell for her son and his AP!
Samantha, and Kevin and Lola, I could have listened to that story for hours.
I was unaware that a divorce would void a will? I don't believe that is true.
First story had me tearing up 😭😭😭
It's a nice change to see a story where the MIL sides with her daughter-in-law and not her cheating son.
I like Samantha's revenge but it's sad that she subjected herself to those selfish brats for it

Celebrating, but the unemployed guy I think is planning on you to support him LOL
Why does it say that the mum is a weird psycho? She's a very nice lady.
The background music need to go very annoying
Story 2 at 49:27
I’m thinking the wife is nuts,she can’t get over the mother thing,,,a mommy’s girl for a change….
How old us this fart? He sounds like father time.
WTH, Kevin gets himself fired but blames his boss? Lies to his mother saying he has a criminal record to supposedly work for his mother that he's leeching off.
Lola just go back to work like you did before
Holly and Kevin are having an affair that's obvious, PLEASE see the writing on the wall. Fishing my asz.

I realize the child is innocent but good on the mother for not just giving money to raise the child like she doesn't owe him anything
