- Shri Kedarnath Yatra 2022 has begun. Kedarnath Yatra & trek can be difficult, so here is complete Kedarnath Yatra 2022 Travel Guide. In this video I tried to explain the precautions one must take during Kedarnath Yatra. This video also explains how you can reach from Sonprayag to Gaurikund & Gaurikund to Kedarnath. Once you reach Sonprayag you can stay in a hotel near market or in Sitapur. Staying in Kedarnath can be a little difficult this time if you haven't already nook the room or tent. If you can't find a place at Kedarnath, I have listed few other places where you can live for a day or two. I have also explained what things you should carry during Kedarnath Yatra 2022. There is one mobile network available at Kedarnath.

Nice yatra video.mostly youngsters will go for yathra.almost pre military training.so that they can be fit to do adventures.pilgrimage for people above 60 years.ponies and horses ride .south indian has to travel long way to reach himalayas.where as it will be easy for northindians.unless work in that spot , depending on distance money is needed.it is not easy take out travels.at young age _ single , later family yatra .not easy as young age , now cost more.

Ms. Kanchanji, namastaeji. A nice video that is very much informative and elaborate. I too had an opportunity to visit this dham on 6th May 2022, the opening day. I am from Chennai and started to trek by walking at 0330 AM from Gaurikund and reached the kapat dharsan line at 1030 AM. Had a nice dharsan at 1530 hrs and later had dharsan at Bhairavanath mandir. Stayed overnight there and returned to Gaurikund by walking down at 1130 AM on 7th May. Later reached Rishikesh and rested overnight. Returned to Chennai on 8th May by flight. I feel honestly this could have been more subjective as it is considered to be one of the toughest trekking routes in INDIA.Furthermore, the path was literally filled with horses/ponies urine and chit which made each step quite difficult for us. 50% of the stretch was like this. Furthermore, there is no proper regulation to let horses/ponies in line. We, pedestrians were disturbed very much and pushed aside to pave way for these local people who carry the yatricas. The most difficult part was getting down because you need to take care of your footing, upcoming bunch of horses, downgoing bunch of horses and the slippery ghat route because of all wastes mixed with ice and water. Do not take it to your heart and I am a senior citizen. I wouldn't have done such a video nicely like you but you could have also caught all these facts so that hereafter the yatricas would take more care. Om Nama Sivaya namaga. So well said. You made very valid points sir. Trek was not clean and at few places it was difficult to breathe. A regulation is must for pony and horse wallas. Infact when coming down I had to yell at 2 pony owners bcz they were so careless. I will definitely try to bring these points in one of my video. Glad you came to Kedarnath. Actually, this is first time going to Kedarnath..and all the rooms of GMVN are booked..and tried to call some hotel owners as well..but all of theirs no. are not reachable.

Weather and snowfall are causing heavy disruptions as I understand from the news and updates. Since you have many subscribers and followers, the message would be disseminated to the lowest level at all places. We do not want yatricas to get stuck at different places in these harsh weather conditions. I pray and wish for the welfare of all yatricas and their families to remain safe and healthy. Q: To reach to temple from helipad/nandi base camp, do we get Kandi (that basket like thing) or Palki. I need this for my mother as she wont be able to walk that much up to the temple. Or taking a wheelchair will be good idea?

The tourist facilities and other dwelling infrastructure seems nice - but still the scope of improvisation remains ahead, especially in terms of technology. Hope govt will tackle it well in future and make the center of shaivism, the glorified hub of "Oneness of Shaivism"...The public transport also looks nice and reasonable at cost.
