      @FullersOutdoorCountry Not an accurate take. This channel is contant unforced errors. Good people, but always trying to run before understanding how to walk. It's the same way in the farming content. How details interplay are never well managed and everything is whack a mole throw more people at a foreseeable planning problem.

    • @FullersOutdoorCountry
      @FullersOutdoorCountry 12 วันที่ผ่านมา +5

      @5thgen916 I agree with you on this point. What I'm referring to is everyone complaining about him building a large movie theater. It's American if he wants to build a driver-in theater more power to him. I like he's not afraid to try.

    •  12 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      @@5thgen916Yoj dont know much about farming. Things go haywire daily and Cole, the educated amongst them is planning and improving their farm every year. The only thing that had gone wrong and still not their fault is the bin site.

    • @5thgen916
      @5thgen916 12 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      @@FullersOutdoorCountry When he's married with 2 kids living with his parents, they also have a fair point everything added to the scope isn't moving up the move in ready date. There are professional concrete companies in his area who could have executed this seamlessly from a set of blueprints. The house has been content for years and at this point has no realistic timeline for completion. He hires out critical business activities he can do himself, claiming his time has value, but then goes diy on best hired out activities. There is plenty of valid viewership fatigue that has shown up in comments since his channel started growing.

    Monitoring the water content of the concrete is a priority when pouring into forms. You have to get achieve the Goldilocks mix. Not to dry that it will hold pockets of air and not too wet that it allows the aggregate to settle out to the bottom and leaks out. All that said you have a underground cinema strong enough to be a rocket silo.

    Wherever you got the vibrators from, should reimburse you for the rental. You had a lot of cement pouring, and no way to stop once you started. Take a picture of what you needed them for. My goodness, the little one has done a lot of jobs in the basement and the first part of the cement. You need to be assertive with a job that big. Having to cancel and reschedule would have cost a fortune. You all did such a good job. You did a great job double checking the pin things. Having family and friends, that are like family, helping you was great. You are blessed to have family and friends. Not everyone is that blessed. 😊❤ You and Roman learned well from his friend. Would my big pile in the middle of the floor be able to be used for a sample? It has been inside the heated enclosure.

    • @joeymartin8722
      @joeymartin8722 11 วันที่ผ่านมา +4

      @ no, the sample has to be taken in a mold and rodded, sat undisturbed and then stored , typically you do 3 samples per truck and each is tested at 7, 14, & 28 days. The fact that you went with higher strength you should be good but if a batch was mixed wrong, you wouldn’t know until it failed. If you have samples you could advert that and the concrete company would be financially liable to correct the whole deal.

      Do you think everyone who builds a house with a couple walls of concrete is going to hire a consultant company to test their concrete your out of your mind. Now the bin site is different that's part of a business.

      @@ColeTheCornstar no it wouldn't. The samples are taken wet. Also there are maximum fall distances from the chute to where the concrete "lands". If the concrete falls to far and gains velocity the solids can travel to the bottom of the pour. With the money you are investing I would have Structural take a look. Your video will likely help in determining if anything is incorrect. Best of luck.

    for that partially set concrete i recommend using a rotary hammer with a spade bit on the hammer only setting. should be a lot more effective than the shovel hitting it to break it up.

      Wow, the Cornstar Crew can’t be beaten. I am so impressed with the amazing things you folks get done. The community you have built is a testimony of how this world could and should be run. This is what is missing in my life. I miss this environment so very much and find it hard to watch as my girls are starting to raise their children in such a negative environment. Just seeing the friends and family helping out with whole process.
      Looking forward to what you folks will do in the future, with all this experience and talent you guys will come up with some amazing things to build.
