agreed. I never got to meet mine as them and my dad refused any and all contact between me and my mom after i was born . My mom didn’t even really know them
My paternal grandmother is my favorite person in the world besides my husband and child. I think we're both ENFJs, even. She's almost 90 with dementia, and I look too much like my aunts for her to recognize me anymore. We had such a great time together. My mother's parents were a nightmare, so I get where people are coming from, but even having one loving grandparent in your life can make a huge difference. ☺️
i love how you kept most of them and i love all the ones you kept , i literally held my breath during some of them lol-i have become way to vested in your wardrobe 😂
The one that has never been your favorite, I swear I just saw one just like it on that television show Feud. But then again, that show covers New York in the 1950s, 1960s, and 1970s.
If you got rid if the brown striped dress, I would have cried and also begged to know where you sold it because it is so beautiful! Definitely my favorite thing you’ve worn on the channel!
You don’t have 7 of the same dress. They are all different. And more importantly, they all have a different story to tell. Like the fact, that your grandma’s pediatrician prescribed her a date night, after she gave birth to your dad. Times were much easier back then. People actually cared about the well-being of those in their community. For a long time I thought I was struggling with my own mental health. But what I was really struggling with was my community health. I had no idea how much easier it was in the past. Thank you for sharing these stories with us. Maybe we can salvage some of the kindness and caring people used to give each other.
Honestly I'm glad with your decision and they are not the same dresses they all have a unique flair and attitude! The brown horizontal stripes disco dress is my dream dress😍😍😍
OMG! I was watching my local news in Phila and your short videos were on during the segment where they talked about this summer as the summer of nostalgia!!!! Love your contents ❤❤❤
Only ones I would have been more on the fence about keeping would have been the second dress and the second-to-last dress, if only because of all of the keeps they are my least favorite. Thankfully since you aren't keeping a rigid "more than one of these Must Go" stance I don't feel misplaced guilt about them staying, since they are still rather nice. And they aren't anywhere near the level of the one sell dress.
70s had some elegant dresses. Sometimes I wish I had a job that allowed such attire…I would get sent home from work if they caught me hawking stakes of tables to set up event rooms in a dress and heels 😂😂😂
does anyone have ideas on where to start trying to kinds these types of clothes? I’ve been dying to get into vintage clothing but i haven’t found a good starting point.
I would genuinely die for the second pink dress.
It gives folklore
@@riagupta6634sure

Me too girly, it’s so pretty
@@FlusteredBottom Love the confidence king
I love how she's your paternal grandma and you have this connection with her. I think people forget paternal grandma's.
My paternal grandma didnt want to meet me.
My paternal grandparents (especially my grandmother) are/were absolutely horrible to my mum and to her own son. 😔
agreed. I never got to meet mine as them and my dad refused any and all contact between me and my mom after i was born . My mom didn’t even really know them

My paternal grandmother helped raised me with my dad, I don’t really know my maternal grandmother because my mom didn’t raise me.
I love her the most.
Having a date night prescribe by the pediatrician is so cute
im ur 666th like :)
The first dress literally fits your body like a glove perfectly! 😍
Ikr i wish i could find one that fits me as good as that for her!
You have a great body for 70s silhouettes. They just fit on you like a glove.
All of those dresses are stunning except for the one you got rid of! Love! 😍
Agreed!!! Excellent choices! 😊
The blue and white polka dot dress (last dress) is timeless. That’ll still be stylish 20 years from now. The first dress also slayed.
That date night dress is magical! I hope Grandma felt like a fairy Queen in it!
#1 is GORGEOUS and it looks flawless on you. Anything that fits as perfectly and flatteringly as that HAS TO be a "keep!" 😄
It certainly helps.. to have a perfect body. Which you do. I’m loving seeing all the vintage clothes! 😊
No judgement here. I wouldn’t get rid of any of them if they fit me as perfectly as they fit you! ❤
i love how you kept most of them and i love all the ones you kept , i literally held my breath during some of them lol-i have become way to vested in your wardrobe 😂

Wow, so many amazing articles! That disco dress! 💜 Plus, the date night dress. Wow, your grandma has great taste!
The one that has never been your favorite, I swear I just saw one just like it on that television show Feud. But then again, that show covers New York in the 1950s, 1960s, and 1970s.
Excellent choices! That first and second dress tho 😍😍😍
It's so lucky that you're the same size and that your grandma has such good taste 😍
Hard to let go. Nice dresses.
The first one is my absolute favorite
👏👏👏👏👏👏 they're all gorgeous and the blue one is to die for! 👗
I gotta say, love your taste. I'd pick same ones to keep and that one to sell. They really pop on you in the right way.
Keep what you want to keep. My daughter was born in 1973 and, yes, I had a dress similar to that one.
The last one is soooo cute😮
For sure all those dresses you kept were my favorite ones ❤. Good choice 👍
Best pediatrician ever!
If you got rid if the brown striped dress, I would have cried and also begged to know where you sold it because it is so beautiful! Definitely my favorite thing you’ve worn on the channel!
You put so much of yourself and open up so much of your personality in these -- have you ever tried acting (i.e., in theatre)?

Times were not easier in the past!!

You always look stunning 😍
The 2nd dress I so flowy 😍 I totally understand why it's a keep 💕
the pediatrician's prescription for self care in the 70s is everything! mamas mental wellbeing is still not a priority for so many doctors.
That first dress😻😻😻😻
The second dress is Beautiful
With her amazing figure, absolutely anything would look incredible on her

I would literally die for the first disco dress. It's so good😭💗💗
These are so pretty 🤩
Second dress is the best. Third dress looks like a beautiful Belle from Beauty and the Beast vibe. ❤❤❤❤
My goodness! I’m so much taller than the other women in my family. It’s nice to see you being able to wear your relatives’ clothes!
They are all gorgeous 😊
I‘m so glad you only sell the one I liked the least 😂 all the other ones look like they were made personally for you 👏
Nooo the orange one was so pretty
I love them all
Is the blue one with the checkered skirt part and undershirt a Montgomery ward brand? I have one almost exactly like it but orange instead of blue!
Beautiful dresses
The second dress reminds me of the dress taylor swift wears during the folklore section during the eras tour
Disco dress ♥️… I’m in love
Does anyone know from where the dark blue two piece looking dress is from? Or where i could find similar dresses?
The disco dress is so beautiful I don't have words
