Great Reaction guys! Ascensionism just edges out this song for me but it is very close. I don't know if you caught the Chokehold references in this song. I reacted to the whole album then just chopped it up into separate reaction videos
I feel like The Summoning also was very much showcasing their range and what to expect on the album, especially after chokehold came out which was like "this is classic us, but updated, this is how you know us" and then summoning was like "oh you want us but heavy? But also look at what to expect from this album". But i agree TMBTE is also that.
I absolutely LOVED that breakdown reaction, esp from her. It was like WTF, then 'Good, goood....... let the hate flow thru you!" (dark side/jedi reference) and she got into it. So awesome.
You should know me by now - I compare music/voices/influences to new music I must decipher... THIS one gives me a Deftones inspired sound... I loved this! Even a tiny bit of Shaman's Harvest "Dragonfly" and I'm not mad at that!
Keep up the great work guys. I would highly suggest the song ascensionism. Another long one. Ride the sleep token train as long as you can. The content is bound to do well lol. Also never separate the chair. Always use a loveseat or sofa. I'm so tired of seeing so many reactors having two separate chairs like they're not even in the same house. Lol. Remember that it's early on. Never stop grinding. Good job guys!

Such a great song, Chokehold may be better I think as well but they both encompass the album. He references that song in this one when he says "it was no accident." Which is the more or less the opening lyric in chokehold. Meaning we were created from god, not an accident. He also says "But I'll take a pound of your flesh before you take a piece of my paystub." Talking about how corrupt the US government truly is cause they take so many taxes from us. In their song Ascensionism, they mention chem trails. I've you're unsure what I'm talking about just look up the illuminati, blackrock, chemtrails, new world order.....etc, on tik tok, it's all to control us, and kill us. Although through art and music there is the vessel of hidden truths. They are more of a spiritual band I would say, but once people wake up to the real truths in the world it will be a better place. Don't keep taking that (Sleep Token). Look into life and worship lol
Oh and lastly when he says "I have traveled far beyond the path of reason" he's basically in disbelief because he can't reason how fucked up this world is and how we have all been lied to about literally everything in our lives. Eden is the garden from the beginning of time aka paradise, so yeah you can take me back their too.
