What i think happened is someone there in Indiana received a product from china & got a pair of these with their package, the person released them outside not knowing they aren't native there.

Pittsburgh pa here and they are here but now as bad as last year last year they were just everywhere and you couldn’t even go outside they would just attack you just cling to your clothes fly in your car it was terrible this year I see a few here and there

One showed up in my backyard a couple weeks ago and was amazed at how beautiful it was so I took a photo and looked it up. So yeah, they’re beyond PA.

I see them all the time and I don't know how people intend to get rid of them permanently from the USA.
Plenty in New Jersey as well as Yonkers, the Bronx, and Manhattan in New York.

They've started showing up on my trees in Arkansas.
I went through Roswell, NM during the Ruidoso fires and hit so many of these. My car was covered in bug juice and ash.
