I've been carrying this light over the last two months and I have to say I miss my S1R turbo... It had better knurling a much better pocket clip, a warmer tint, and a brighter high setting. 300 lumen to 1200 lumen is too large of a jump. I can't mention how many times this new "improved" Cliff has fallen out of my pocket due to something grabbing the other end, if I carry it lens down there's no resistance and it will just slip out of my pocket when I sit down.
Wife asked for a Christmas list. I put this on there. I don't think she will think I really want a flash light amongst the other things I put on that list. But in reality. This flash light is No. 1 item I want. Boys will be boys.
Wonder if theylll have a Preimium Package for the just announced B3 Pro Max. Has the right form factor for a charging case....which they didn't put out in 2022 for the Pro. I haeh the Pro. Not sure if I'll buy the Max....for the few upgrades it has (e.g. .5 extra lumen on FF, 1000 extra on T, motion sensor for the LED power level indicator, "warm white" option....)...eager to find out what OLight is going to do to 1 up the W3s....which I don't have...
I understand that turbo is 1200 lm. Is that 1200 lm available every time you turn your flashlight on or do you only get to use it one time at about two minutes and then the rest of the life of the battery you don’t get to use the 1200 lm you are already at 300 lm? In other words if I use my flashlight on 300 lm and the run time is two hours for 300 lmAnd I use the turbo an hour into using my flashlight will it hit the 1200 or will it just not make it up because I’ve used half the battery power up on 300 lm? So basically it’s 1200 lm at my disposal or is it a one shot deal per charge?
Turbo will depend on battery voltage. If the battery is too low it will either not reach turbo or immediately kick down. Exactly at what voltage that is I can't say. All modern flashlights have similar behavior, it's not an olight thing

The selling point of the Premium Ed (case) is that i gives you an extra "3.7 charges" extra. which IMHO is pointless for the typical traveller that's lilely to carry a flashlight. :) Now if for people who go on amping trips or "expeditions"....where they KNOW they could go DAYS without an electric source.....then tthis bundle would come in handy. ....or possibly an expensive llight package to leace in your car. ..for "emergenceis" (unlikely to be left in a car). Would have liked to have seen OLIGHT offer a similar case for the longer B3 Pro and wM2. Have you run intot he "magnetic charger issue"? (will fully charge yet not show GREEN. As mentioned by another YT reviewer....I think "Prepper Guy". was that just with a small batch of magnetic chargers??.....I'm getting a B3 Pro this week....

It's not rated as that, it's plastic so it will take some use and abuse but not a ton.

average flashlight users dont give much care for high cri... but high lumens sell if low cri or not.. thats the issue.

The double clip allows you to put the light either DIRECTION. without changing where the clip is mounted to the light
