I love that because Alpha Flight is so far geographically removed from the rest of the Marvel Superheroes, they fight new, different, and unique villains. This video was jammed packed with little mini videos on the origins of those unique villains, and i love it. Bring on Alpha Flight Part 3. You haven't even reached the end of John Byrne's run yet. So that's a YES from me for ALPHA FLIGHT PART 3. I'm asking for a video on my favorite alternate reality immigrant to the 616, RACHEL SUMMERS. As always, MAKE MINE THE MERRY MARVELITE!!!!
Great video. I didn't realize that these villains actually existed in the Marvel Universe and found this information to be honestly super cool. Thank you so much for creating and sharing it with us.
Yes please talk more about them!! I love the lore. Alpha flight is so fun despite some of the reception. I love wild child, Wyre and the nemesis characters
@@DCMarvelMultiverse Congrats dear sir, you just won yourself a Marvel No-Prize! (and my subscription to your channel, I'm gonna happily watch your stuff. : D)
Box is my most favorite Alpha Flight member. He was morally complex, he was a brilliant engineer, and his suit, the Box Armor MK2, was awesome. Considering that he can just phase into it.
Too bad after Byrne left the book it kind of went downhill. It had some bright spots, but it never had that Byrne magic that made the first 28 books special.
@@snoopy4749 When Bill Malto took over, he wanted to make a new team. Marvel rejected his previous pitch for a new super team, so when he took over within a year and a half dismantled the original team and replaced them with his own. There were some good issues but overall, I found it disappointing. After he left, we got the Llan the Sorcerer story arc that lasted another 15 issues. Marvel didn't know what to did with AF after that, as well as the art went from okay with Magnolia to great with Lee but then fell off a cliff. The book was losing sale per month. I believe AF's isolation from the rest of the MU kept the book from being good.

AF was not one of Marvel's priorities and it fell by the wayside. IMO
Can you do history of the Living_Brain, the Elementals, Cyclone, Hydro Man, Molten Man, Puck, Ahab, Rom_the_Spaceknight, Stingray, Noh-Varr Marvel_Boy, Starbrand, Nightmask, Ava Ayala the White Tiger, Crossfire, Living Laser, Century, Lore and Technovore?
Is Nemesis similar to the Black Knight who has a powerful sword along the a mantle that's passed down again and again? Who do you think would win between them?
These videos on Alpha Flight are really good. I was never knew how good the stories and art were in those books. I hope that your gonna make a part 3 of the story of Alpha Flight.
Can you do history of Ironheart, Amatsu-Mikaboshi, Arno_Stark Iron Man, Squirrel_Girl, Constrictor, Deathlok, Amadeus_Cho, the Griever, Pepper Potts AKA Rescue and the Agents of Atlas along with Crescent, Morgan_Le_Fey, White Fox and Luna Snow?
Are you going to do history of Ironheart, M'Baku, Namora, Attuma and Shuri as the Black Panther since they played a major role in the Black Panther Wakanda Forever movie?
Wow being American I had no idea they called indigenous people First People I really think that's the best name I've ever heard here we don't call them that although we definitely should take a cue from Canada and use the same name thanks I never would have known that if you didn't say it I had to look it up I learned more than just comic knowledge today❤
This was a great addendum to the previous Alpha Flight episode... Sadly, it only serves to illustrate the amazing LACK of interesting villains for them... Essentially, it boils down to Master of the World and the Great Beasts, until we get to the Dream Queen... and maybe China Force?! The constant "in fighting" between the various Flight teams doesn't really count as villains to me... that's more like the Avengers vs the FF... Not really the same as a few dedicated villains, like Doom or Super Skrull... old guys in wheelchairs or 3 piece suits don't really stand out as serious villains, just schemers who don't really have longevity as villains... Honestly, who even REALLY remembers even ONE of those guys when someone asks all-time most memorable villain 🙄...?! Probably, no one. I certainly didn't remember any of those mentioned in this video except for the Master of the World and the Great Beasts, and if I weren't an Alpha Flight fan, I doubt I'd have even remembered them on a villains list... I used to have the vast majority of the original Alpha Flight comic series, except for a few of the earlier pre-30's issues, on up to somewhere just past 100, like maybe around 112(?)🤔, seems like... But the artwork and stories really started lacking, and I finally had to just quit buying the series, and then later on, I got rid of the majority of the series when I purged around half of my collection, only keeping certain issues or story arcs that I particularly enjoyed, which may be around 20-30 issues in total, at most... My biggest attachment to the series now, is actually via Marvel Legends figures, and while I have the bulk of the team in figure form, Hasbro is still missing a few that I'd like to be able to complete my team display, including Talisman, Marinna, BOX II & Madison Jeffries, Windshear, Weapon Omega (aka a more matured Wildchild), and alternate costumes for Aurora and Shaman, the Snowsquatch version of Snowbird, as well as the all Maple 🍁 Leaf red & white costumes for the entire team... As for Snowbird, I'm slowly building up an animal menagerie of her alternate animal forms... next probably acquiring the polar bear from the GI JOE Classified line next year... As far as villains...? So far, zilch, unless you count the Wendigo BAF, or the Sasquatch BAF as the Great Beast, "Whatsisname"... but I don't... I'm using a Fortnite villain as a stand-in for the Master of the World, for now, but an official version and a Dream Queen would be nice at some point... Either way, these episodes definitely add enjoyment to the figures for me, which I appreciate.
This is also the period where it seemed byrne although shading Kirby for being restless with her he was treated. Started to show the same frustration with how things are run in marvel and it looks like it’s just starting to dismantle everything that he put a lot of work in
Where was the manifestation of Razer during the adventure when Madelyn Pryor was turned into Anodyne (by Loki) and supposedly temporarily cured Puck of what was his believed dwarfism?
I was really annoyed by John burn around this time. It was like he was a self appointed head of marvel and went around killing off Who he deemed Superfluous Super villains in somewhat convoluted ways. They were on the fan of his artwork started to realize how full of himself he was
Love when you talk about the less known and quirky characters.

Yes a 3rd installment about Alpha Flight and their enemies would be awesome if possible.
This channel tops Marvel channels.

Ngl, I'm surprised I haven't found a DC equivalent to MerryMarvelite yet.
I was doing that in a way but my channel evolved into something that lowered my output overall.

Heresy!
yeah I've noticed that as well.
Yes another one 😅😊
I used to get the minatures like a long time ago. I was surprised how many alpha flight members i had since they didnt have faction in the game.

I'm not sure if I missed it have you ever done the phalax tell me and Doug in the New mutants I read the comments and it's always been on my mind
Alpha Flight felt like such a knock-off team to me growing up. These videos have shown me that they are a legit fun and interesting read!
more about the great beasts would be interesting.

Should’ve used that Civil War II Choosing Sides variant cover featuring Justin Trudeau. He’s definitely Canada’s biggest super-villain right now.
Will Alpha Flight make it to MCU,,,,?

What do you think is the best thing about these villains of Alpha Flight? Which one of them do you think is the best?
I just thank God that Fox never adapted alpha flight can't live action cause I'm pretty sure they would have been a flop
Disney will probably adapt them after they introduce the X-Men.
Also the MCU ruin.
How's Omega Flight compared to Alpha Flight? Who do you think is the best member of this team?
1st Dibbs on comments!!
Deadly Ernest!? 😐SMDH.....
My favorite Canadian antagonists are: surgery wait time, housing inflation, and global relevance
