Your options are to buy them and have them installed, make a pressurized tube and put four of them in there, use a tuner to turn them off, or try to take out the gauge cluster and remove the bulb from the back. For the tune option it would probably not be a regular option, you would need a custom tune to have it turned off.

I had 2 front tires replaced, then ABS/STABILITY light came on after wards. I bought the unit to reset/reconnect tps, and after following instructions, once completed all 4 tires, now pressure doesn't show on any of the tires
Do you have a video on how to replace the tire pressure sensor?
I don’t. The tire has to be removed from the wheel rim to remove it from the rim
I have a 04 dodge Durango and this tire pressure sensor lites are on but my wheels don't have tire pressure sensors in them and would there be a way to get this turned off a bypass if that's possible?
Your options are to buy them and have them installed, make a pressurized tube and put four of them in there, use a tuner to turn them off, or try to take out the gauge cluster and remove the bulb from the back. For the tune option it would probably not be a regular option, you would need a custom tune to have it turned off.
@@dannyjohnsonsgarage that's what I was thinking the same thing too is to remove that LED light in the cluster gauge that would be my best bet to not see that tire sensor no more plus it be way cheaper no money involved to remove the Light
So how do I check the air pressure on my tire? The Toyota Corrolla handbook is worthless as a usable manual.
You will need to get a tire pressure gauge, remove the cap on each wheel, and push the gauge over the stem, but don’t let it lose more air
No offense but if you have to ask how to manually check the air pressure in your tire? With a gauge? You actually shouldn’t be driving anything more mechanically involved than a horse drawn carriage or a rickshaw 😂😂😂
You're kidding, right?
A piece of electrical tape works great for anointing lights on the instrument cluster.
😂 Wish I had seen this comment last week before I paid $1000 for new sensors on all 4 tires on my dad’s car. Mom’s car has less than 10K miles on it and the dealer tells me it needs 2 new sensors because the light goes on and off every 75 miles or so. I have 4 rolls of electric tape. Which color shall I use? 😂
Shouldn't even have to deal with it.
I will be replacing the tire air sensors but I’m tired of seeing the flashing light.
Check your spare tire pressure..
@@IdahoBrotherInChrist yep! That’s good☺️
Umm were do u position the pvc pip
You have to take the wheel off of the rim?
No, just break the bead on one side. Replace the TPMS with a new one, calibrate to the computer, and your good for ten years.
TPMS is crap I want to remove the entire system and find and disable the warning beeper in the dash.
Does anyone know if having this light on, does it fail your inspection for the car to get the sticker?
It won't matter, they're checking emissions.
it does not fail. it does not take this light into account. only the CEL light.
Have tires that run 45-60 psi on my truck. Just get used to the light.
Great idea, thanks for sharing, did not know pvc could hold up to 40 psi, good day
Very dangerous. too high pressure results in a BOMB
2 types: foam core (cellular core) . & pressure rated (solid) schedule 40 . Never use cellular core . The pipe looks the same , the markings are different. Also different on the cut edge
Mines is on, but it's not blinking. it's solid. What does that mean
On some cars It blinks when you first start the car, but stays solid after that so it’s not annoyingly flashing
After several times of crawling around on all fours checking tire pressure in freezing temperatures only to find one 2psi lower, or higher than the rest I learned my lesson and started ignoring the light. It's on all the time now. Who cares!? These could have been valuable if they only came on with a dramatic loss of pressure...eight or ten psi...but having them come on for a couple psi, which basically happens every time it gets cold, is ridiculous!
TPMS light is blinking then stays solid, but dash cluster still reads all four tires pressure, so they are all communicating. But light is still doing the same. 2012 dodge challenger srt8.
What is the psi reading? Mine would say what they last were. Try adding/releasing air to one to see if it changes
@@dannyjohnsonsgarage They do change, first they where 39psi and i drop them to 35psi.
Ugh mine just came on and I can’t stand it
Which tool will work for 2005 Chrysler Pacifica
Maxi TS508
This is cool to know. Thanks
Check your spare tire pressure
I don’t believe those have the sensors installed
@@dannyjohnsonsgaragenot what I’ve seen after going down the late night TH-cam video black hole
You can also just put a sticker over the light😂😂😂😂
I thought that there was a way to turn off TPMS. I thought I did it last winter. I'm just trying to remember how to do it again for this winter. My winter wheels don't have TPMS just my summer wheels
On my Yukon it asks you to acknowledge it and the light stays on. It may depend on the vehicle
@@dannyjohnsonsgarage actually I think it automatically went away... At least the yellow warning light. It does start the dash display on the tire reading page after starting the car, but one click and that goes away and at least now I don't have the yellow warning icon. 2014 Ram 1500
I was at a location where I used a club on the steering wheel because of numerous thefts there. When I returned to the car in the unsecured lot and started to drive the tire light was on. I went to the tire dealer near home and used their free tire check. Nothing was wrong. Could someone have interfered with the wireless tire monitor trying to get me to go to a dealer in the bad part of town? Could there have been unintentional interference? F. Miller
I can't imagine why a criminal would want you to go to a dealership in the bad part of town
I am sure it was interference of some kind. It happened repeatedly and the last time there was a line at the local tire store of other people having their tires checked with the same issue. Just before the latest hack Bluetooth fix the car was zero day hacked by someone. @@thooke222
So how do you turn the "message" off? I've recalibrate the tires but the message remains.
It won’t turn off until you replace the sensors with new ones that have new batteries
@@dannyjohnsonsgarageThanks!
Just fit tyre pressure sensors they aren’t expensive.
Chevy charges $250.00 FOR EACH valve replacement!
How do I disable it entirely?
You’ll have to add new sensors
FYI people lightbulbs are yesteryear. Everything today is circuitry no bulbs
Tire pressure system is just a scam losing a few lbs of pressure here and there is caused by tire pressure systems they don't work
Another reason to never sell my 65 Chevy.
How do you turn off the light
New sensors
Except the part how to remove sensor...unless you think the pvc pipe idea was it
I think I'll put electric tape over the light. Easy.
Do I have to have them?
No. The light will just stay on
Thank you! I asked because it does not work on my 2007 silverado.
When idiots removed full spare tire, those tpms started to get important because if your tire gets F-ed, you are stranded (cant continue travel). If you have regular valves, and full spare tire, you would be able to travel to first service, but that dont generate money, so industry keeps F-ing customers over.
Have no sensors in the rims and do not want to put any in, as they want about $400 for the set
So how do you disengage or disable the sensor
The only options are to make a pressurized tube or turn it off using a handheld tuner that’s also $400 and might not have the option.
How to turn ofmokkatpms system
hello, nice video. anyone knows how to disconnect on the cdi mercedes a180 w178 2015 year. they are crazy placed useless sensors but important for spare tyre no place. mercedes crap become!
Don't forget the spare. Sensor in that too.
No, the spare tire does not. I checked my manual. It said it did not have a sensor
I want to disable the MIL, not spend money on TPMS sensors which can be tracked by receivers.
Why do people insist on posting videos saying how to do something and then don't tell you how to do it? the title of the video even says turn OFF. i want to turn it off not replace them!!!
The wheel is the rim plus tyre. Doh! You take the tyre off the rim!
So you want to tell us how to just turn it off.
Chevy Dealership charged $250 for just one Tire, Govt Motors is JUNK
Toyota wants 300.oo.
No turning off the TPMS, then.
I’m having this Trouble at the moment
You’ll want to go to a tire shop to remove the tire and put in new sensors
@@dannyjohnsonsgarage ok thanks
I buy cheap ones. Then I change them almost yearly.
Too much work for me
Throw them in the trash unplug the light
Can I change my wheels an just switch them off there a pain in the god damn arse 😂
